Easy to reach on foot and with parking for those traveling by car.
I suggest not stopping at the pizzoccheri; they also serve delicious desserts to round off your meal! ;)

17/08/2026: It would be a mistake not to stop... Excellent food and a very friendly owner... I recommend making a detour and being their guests.
14/08/2026: We stopped here for lunch on our way back from Valmalenco, and we couldn't have found a better place!
Superlative dishes, from the sciatt to the pizzoccheri, the meat, and the desserts.
The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, the service was prompt, and the prices were super fair!
Highly recommended!

26/07/2026: Excellent service.
We had a one-night stay with them before continuing our trip. Due to rain, it took us a while to get to the hotel, especially since we had just finished the Stelvio Pass.
Upon arrival, they showed us our room, which had everything we needed to rest comfortably and spaciously.
They even served us dinner after the regular dinner service had finished. So we were able to enjoy their cuisine, and it was wonderful. Honestly, the service and the surroundings made us feel right at home.

25/07/2026: We stayed at this hotel for two nights in Valtellina, which we also used for dinner. The first evening was a restaurant serving very good traditional dishes. The second evening was a pizzeria, serving excellent, light pizzas made with top-quality ingredients.
The hotel and rooms are dated, but this is outweighed by the location, which provides quick access to Sondrio and the Valtellina region in general, as well as by the quality of the dinner and breakfast menu.

09/07/2026: We returned at the end of August 2025, returning from a hike to Alpe Armisola, and took the opportunity to stop for lunch, where we enjoyed an excellent pork shank with potatoes. Kudos to the kind and helpful staff and to the new management, which has revitalized visits to this beautiful mountain area. We returned in June 2026, and I reaffirm the quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere.
We returned in June 2026 after a hike to the Deucaville delle Orobie on the Briotti-Gaggio stretch, and our usual lunch stop. Everything was as good as last year.
28/06/2026: Simple, mountain-style atmosphere without too many pretensions. Excellent food. There's also a play area for both kids and adults (soccer field, volleyball net) and a camping area.

15/10/2024: Mi primera impresión fue que iba a ser ruidoso por la noche porque hay un bar / pizzería en la planta principal. Pero nunca escuchamos un sonido. La configuración es un poco extraña, ya que se accede a las habitaciones a través de una puerta al lado del bar. Pero Omar era muy servicial y amable, y nos consiguió situado rápidamente. Estábamos contentos con nuestra noche aquí, y nos alojaríamos de nuevo.
13/10/2024: E' sempre un piacere tornare alla Svolta.
Le camere sono comode,non manca nulla.
Il ristorante offre pietanze locali molto buone.
I titolari sono persone davvero a modo.
Lo consiglio.
