14/05/2026: Pets allowed. In theory, but then when you get there, despite having booked and confirmed that the dog is within their acceptance limits (25kg), the first thing they tell you to welcome you is: the dog is too big, but ok you can take a sit. Then, the owner arrives to welcome you, again complaining that an Australian shepherd is too big, and they make an exceptions for you. The restaurant was empty, still they make you feel lame, as if the dog could be a problem for other customers. And so, you know what, I’ll give my money to someone that knows how to treat customers and make pizzoccheri even better in town. Ciao

02/06/2026: It's easy to say "Pizzoccheri"... and when you try Elisa's, you'll feel like you've never eaten them before! There's no need to waste words, just try them! Her restaurant is a must-see, and a stay at her hotel is also highly recommended. If you find yourself in Teglio (a gem of Valtellina) and the surrounding area, don't miss this opportunity! You'll be welcomed by simplicity, tradition, excellent cuisine, and a wonderful sense of family. Maria, Elisa's mother, won't hesitate to offer you the produce from her garden... herbs for the summer version of pizzoccheri, strawberries, and cherries, to name just a few. The bresaola is also excellent, with sciatt, also handmade, of course... and what can I say about the Tzigoiner (meat on a stick)... sublime! Regarding the hotel, I'd recommend the welcoming, spacious, and clean rooms. Spectacular views of the Orobie Alps can be seen from the balconies of the rooms overlooking the mountains and from the restaurant's outdoor terrace. Teglio offers walks and easy hikes (e.g., a visit to the charming Menaglio Mill is a must-see) and is an excellent base for reaching Tirano and the Bernina Express to Saint Moritz, Livigno, Bormio, and its thermal baths. The Sanctuary of the Madonna di Tirano is a must-see, with its 14-meter organ with over 2,000 pipes, one of the most majestic in Europe and truly breathtaking. In Teglio, Palazzo Besta is definitely worth a visit. Enjoy your stay at Elisa's, the heart of tradition in the capital of pizzoccheri.

31/05/2026: This chalet-style hotel boasts a great location (the upper rooms also offer a splendid view of the Orobie Alps), private parking, and excellent cuisine. The pizzoccheri are sublime. I've never tasted so good and so plentiful. Unmissable.

13/08/2026: Friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere, and average prices. Excellent mixed cured meats platter for €10 with 6 types of cured meats. Excellent pizzoccheri. Worth a return visit, recommended for those with children.

12/08/2026: A lovely restaurant in Teglio's main square. Generous and excellent dishes. The sciatt portion is enough for two! The pizzoccheri were really good and popular. We also had tagliatelle with venison ragù and polenta with sausage. Everything was excellent. Average prices. Recommended

27/12/2025: A mix between a restaurant and an old-fashioned trattoria. Professional yet familiar service. Superb pizzoccheri, excellent cured meats, and truly excellent homemade sciatta. I recommend everyone to go there.

24/07/2026: Characteristic farmhouse above Teglio. Very relaxing, relatively rustic atmosphere, surrounded by greenery (and cool!). Typical local fixed menu, with some of the best sciatt I've ever eaten. The pizzoccheri were FANTASTIC, the best in my opinion. Even though the portions were already generous, we were asked if we wanted more, which we accepted. In the end, we took them home 😊. Theoretically, there would have been meat (ribs and/or roast), but we were already full. We finished with the house dessert and coffee for a very reasonable price (plus the cured meats appetizer, not mentioned above, as it's standard). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... We'll be back!

02/06/2026: The best pizzoccheri I've ever eaten: not the usual soft, light gray tagliatelle, but a more rustic shape with plenty of black flour, which is clearly noticeable and isn't covered by the cheese or the "sfrezzata" (whipping). A much more robust flavor, just like the pizzoccheri my grandmother made at the Briotti family.

The rooms are spacious and well-maintained (some have a small terrace offering splendid mountain views), with particular attention to cleanliness evident at first glance. The warm, family-friendly atmosphere contributes to a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, making your stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast is particularly noteworthy: in addition to a wide selection of sweet and savory buffet items, the hotel offers the option of ordering hot dishes served directly at your table, such as eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, and warm croissants. This initiative is highly appreciated, especially for those wishing to avoid food waste, as it offers personalized, high-quality service. The restaurant offers traditional Valtellina cuisine—prepared with top-quality ingredients—ensuring an authentic, high-quality culinary experience. The staff is distinguished by their courtesy and kindness, always attentive to guests' needs. This is our second visit to this hotel, and each time it confirms its excellence. Recommended for those seeking a comfortable stay, attentive service, and excellent traditional cuisine. We will definitely be back!

05/07/2026: Hotel Restaurant, located on the right-hand side of the hill (towards Sondrio). It offers a beautiful view. Parking is available. Lunch, returning from the Stelvio Pass. Friendly welcome, clean rooms, and tastefully decorated. The pizzoccheri are amazing; I haven't had better ones since the 1980s. Generous portions. The menu features several local specialties. Polite and friendly staff. It's worth a visit if you like authentic places. The deliciousness and quality make it worth the trip.

03/05/2026: Stunning views, excellent location for reaching Tirano. We had dinner at the hotel and it was delicious, the pizzoccheri were TOP! The breakfast was generous and plentiful, the room was clean, the bathroom was small but had everything you need, and the staff was knowledgeable and very friendly.
