19/01/2025: A Opera un’istituzione! Una dei pochi negozi storici rimasti ... e un motivo sempre c’è ! I pasticcini sono deliziosi, le mitiche “fiammette” al latte ( le mie preferite ) con biscotto oppure quelle fondenti, le intramontabili “ chiavi di violino “ poi i cannoncini e biscottini vari oppure i piccoli “ ventagli “ è sempre un piacere fare una piccola pausa con queste delizie. Complimenti.

21/08/2025: A squalid and dirty place, full of drunkards, drug addicts, and characters (sometimes annoying) of various ethnicities who live by their wits (they're all sitting near the entrance to the Iper supermarket pizzeria), arrogant, insolent, and rude guards, smells of oil and less-than-stellar food, an expensive supermarket with rude staff, an open-air souk under the roof of Piazza Portello, an outdoor shopping center (cold in the winter and hot in the summer), questionable parking policy, expensive shops (apart from a few) and nothing special, we're in the Viale Certosa area, need we say more? Tuesday, 11/12/2024: Come on, people, Milanese and otherwise, run to Portello, a dangerous place with fights, drug dealing, thefts, begging, filthy bathrooms, days spent walking and shopping in the open air, a place where Alfa Romeo once produced glorious cars, today reduced to a pool of people. with slimy faces, where the renovated Ristò has prices that not even Cracco's, and the people at Ronda Service don't give a damn. The prices are exorbitant to say the least, they will make you go home furious, but in return you will eat "healthy", smell the stink, and here's my hand. A place where Carabinieri and Police are there day in and day out, yea what do you want it to be, even my aunt likes it. The only solution would be a big flood! Do you perhaps believe there's an end to the worst? Come on, not even the boys and girls believe it anymore! And also be careful of those who ride bicycles, at your own risk I give you a piece of advice, run away as quickly as possible!! 20/08/2025. Here, I have a new one about this shopping center, and obviously a very negative one! I would like to let anyone reading know about a very serious fact that happened to me on the date I mentioned: I was sitting quietly at one of the outside tables of the Ristò, the ones in front of the Decathlon, involuntarily taking a light nap (I would like to point out that I work at night, and unfortunately tiredness sometimes makes itself felt, taking over with such effects) when I was arrogantly addressed by a security person whose name begins with C. (who was obviously reported by me to the local police station), who in a rude, arrogant and overbearing manner and tone ordered me not to sleep, using foul and sexist language (?), perhaps he was speaking for himself; not only that, he approached me to challenge me, something which also happened inside the Ristò, in front of the bar staff and numerous customers. witnesses, threatening to leave me otherwise who knows what consequences I would have suffered. This character was supported by other people, including a hairless guy in a shirt and jeans, who I understand is the manager of the Iper; well, even the latter, when I replied to call the police, responded ironically and mockingly. I want to tell these "gentlemen", these gentlemen, who only stand out for their negative characteristics (which I cannot name precisely otherwise my review will not be published), that customers are not treated like this (and in any case there are ways and ways of saying things), that I have reported the matter to my lawyer and we are thinking of taking legal action against the individuals and the management of the Iper. I'm sorry, this time you really screwed up, I am a surveyor, a worthy person and even if I were a typical (i.e. in a negative sense) frequenter of the Portello, I would still be better than you, and you must always address each other politely. 05/08/2025: I wished I had eaten there more often! A simple place with lots of options to choose from. They also offered free tap water and tea which is rare in Milan.

25/07/2025: I'm not vegan, but I'm always passing through. I stopped in: the first time out of curiosity, the second to confirm the positive feedback from the first time, and the third because I'll be stopping every time I pass through this area. Very good and flavorful vegan cuisine (so many taboos dispelled). Affordable prices (I thought vegan delis or restaurants were expensive). Very friendly staff, especially Mr. Ivan (the owner), who was very helpful in giving me advice and instructions on vegan cuisine. Expertise, kindness, vegan goodness, very affordable prices. 5 WELL-DESERVED STARS

27/08/2025: I went to a birthday party. The party was in a small room, and we had some privacy. The appetizer was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was excellent.

26/08/2025: I happened upon it by chance, I ordered a pizza... I didn't like it, there was no mozzarella but some unspecified cheese, I hope the rest of the menu is better. The restaurant entrance is very welcoming, the table setting is mediocre. Friendly staff.

24/07/2025: It's always a pleasure to have an aperitif here! The selection is truly vast! And the expertise and advice of the managers are invaluable! Congratulations on the passion that is put into their work. Last but not least, it's the only place we've been to in Milan that checked green passes (when it existed)! Every time we come to Milan, one or more visits to Il Secco are a must! The selection of various still or sparkling wines is always invaluable! If we lived in Milan, no one would take away a nice glass of wine in the afternoon after work! Not to mention the food options! These days they have spectacular friarielli! Well done!

18/07/2025: We came for breakfast, the pastries were very good and the juices are freshly squeezed and very good! The waitress was very kind, we had a good time on their covered terrace which is very pleasant.

19/06/2025: Locale tranquillo in via borsieri. Quest'anno L'ho provato a pranzo, per aperitivo e dopo cena. Mi manca solo farci colazione. Ragazzi bravissimi e molto disponibili. Pranzo vario e sfizioso, Ottimi vini e cocktail,aperitivo e club sandwich golosi. Consiglio.

13/07/2025: Excellent business lunch. High-quality food and a warm welcome. I had excellent spaghetti with truffles and shrimp tartare, and a perfect sea bream in salt! Recommended.

20/06/2025: Everything was very good, excellent raw appetizers and equally good first courses. The only flaw was the pasta was a little too al dente.

26/07/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. The staff was super kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly. We ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses for two, accompanied by freshly baked focaccia. Everything was delicious. Then we had two crispy and dry cutlets, good but not exceptional because the meat had some tough sinew in some places. All washed down with a very good bottle of Franciacorta prosecco. I would gladly return to try other dishes.

26/07/2025: Truly remarkable value: chef-quality dishes, trattoria-style prices. Here too, enterprising young people face the considerable sacrifices inherent in running a restaurant in Porta Romana with warmth and professionalism. In this increasingly receptive, yet increasingly less welcoming, Milan, it's remarkable to find a restaurant with a menu "not for passers-by." In this Milan where Milanese residents are increasingly rare and Milanese is no longer spoken, it's remarkable to still be able to eat risotto! I've always recommended it to everyone; no one has complained—ON THE CONTRARY.

19/07/2025: The all-you-can-eat price is in line with other restaurants in the area (perhaps a few euros less), and food is ordered via tablet. The sushi is very good, and the place is truly well-kept.

08/09/2025: Simple and clean place. Please note: Since it's not very large, it's best to book to avoid long waits. The pizza is very thin and crispy, and stands out for its quality ingredients. The burgers are also well-made and tasty, served with skin-on fries. The staff is friendly and the table service is excellent.

07/09/2025: Just arrived, the service was poor to say the least. The owner himself responded inappropriately, leaving customers unattended. Not recommended. The only positive note was the pizza wasn't bad. But the service and ambiance were terrible.

11/08/2025: Amazing place! Food is super delicious, service is top notch! Portions were big to fill up a big hungry man. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly! Right at the corner, have seating area outside as well as inside, very close ( about 5-7 min walk) to Milan central station . Highly recommended!

03/09/2025: The Napoleonic Arena, commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte and inaugurated in his presence, now named after the journalist Gianni Brera, is now a stadium and training ground for track and field. In the past, it has even hosted naval battles, and more recently, several concerts. The triumphal gate and the Palazzina Appiani with the royal box are must-see gems.
