13/12/2025: Celebrated my birthday. Very satisfied, both with the menus chosen (all excellent quality) and with the service, which was kind and professional. Compliments to the chef, Ik and my guests will definitely be back.

10/11/2025: We came to this restaurant today. The food we ordered was very good and tasty. Afterwards, we ordered dessert and coffee. From our table, we had a beautiful view of Lake Trasimeno and enjoyed our meal in complete relaxation. The staff was friendly and courteous, but the only downside was that our order was taken a bit late. Overall, everything was excellent!

17/12/2025: I went to Trattoria La Ruota for dinner on Sunday evening. Google suggests it's a hotel, but we stayed at the trattoria/restaurant. The location is easy to reach and has parking (both on-site and nearby). The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, typical of a trattoria with an open oven for cooking food. The service was professional and courteous. The cuisine was much appreciated. We tried various dishes: appetizers, first courses, fried artichokes, and polenta with meat. We finished with a dessert, which was as delicious as it was beautiful. We also appreciated the limited bottle of Chianti red wine. Overall, a lovely place to spend a pleasant evening, whether as a couple or with friends.

09/11/2025: Went there during lunch time Wednesday. Able to get a seat for 2 even without reservation. Stuff are accommodating and very attentive. Price is normal for the type of restaurant. Tried the ossobuco with polenta. Taste is really good but the meat is really hard to chew. My partner ordered a risotto. If you like gorgonzola cheese then you must try it.

15/12/2025: I found out about this place through word of mouth, and since my sister who lives in London decided to celebrate her daughter's baptism in Milan, I directed her here... I did the center.

13/12/2025: For us the location was perfect as we wanted to complete the local parkrun in Parco Milano Nord. It's really easy to get to if you don't mind a little walk. It's about 5 minutes from Bignami Metro station which is at the end of the M5, or 15 minutes from Sesto Rondo on the M1. Reading the reviews of the hotel, our room looked nothing like those pictured, nor were we offered any freebies or upgrades like many reviewers, I guess that's because I booked the cheapest room rate, despite being a member. Possibly, this was due to the Fiorentina Football team block booking the hotel the same weekend! Nevertheless, our room was perfectly acceptable and comfortable for the two nights we stayed. The front desk told us it was €18 per person per day for breakfast, yet it was only after we sat down and started eating the waiter told us it was €20 per person per day. This should be clearer. We didn't eat dinner here as it was on the pricey side - at least €100 for a couple I'd say. We ate in town each day before travelling back. Andrea on the front desk was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Overall, I'd stay here again as it's a lovely hotel and the room was nice enough. Just don't expect the thrills mentioned here if you pay the cheapest rate.

01/12/2025: Excellent pizzeria in the City Life area. They also offer Southern Italian cuisine. We opted for pizza, and both the scarolina and the calzone were very popular. The service was very friendly and courteous. Finally, the bill was average for Milanese prices.

20/11/2025: This restaurant is very good! We went at night, when the only option is barbecue, with a feijoada (very good, by the way). We were very well served, the meat was delicious and the appetizers were too. The restaurant's atmosphere is very pleasant and beautiful, well decorated! Served by Lúcio and Natália, who are the owners, they were very kind to me and my family, I highly recommend it and I would eat there again!
