The restaurant is very popular and popular, so much so that it's often full even during the week. For this reason, I highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. The only small point to keep in mind: parking is quite limited. Fortunately, there's a much larger parking lot directly in front, which still makes getting to the restaurant convenient. We visited Trattoria La Ruota in San Giuliano Milanese and had a truly positive experience. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always available. The waiters were able to advise and explain the dishes with professionalism, while the service was prompt from start to finish. We started with a carpaccio and a cheese platter accompanied by a truly excellent compote. The wine list also offers a good selection, and the dry red wine we chose was a perfect match for the dinner. The highlight, however, is undoubtedly the meat. We ordered a 500-gram Chianina rib-eye steak, and it was truly excellent: a quality raw material, I ate it rare and thoroughly enjoyed the flavor. The baked potatoes served as a side dish were also very good. Special mention also goes to the owner, who is always present in the dining room, attentive to customers, and always available. The restaurant is spacious, welcoming, and has convenient on-site parking, a detail that makes the experience even more enjoyable. To conclude the dinner, we tried the mandarin sorbet: if you go, ask for it, it's truly worth it. At the end of the meal, we were also offered a very pleasant house digestif. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good cuts of red meat (fillet and rib eye steak). I was also pleasantly impressed by the level of service, always prompt and never intrusive. The prices aren't cheap, but quality and good service can't be free.
