Hotel in a strategic position. Well-kept details, excellent service

Outstanding, the staff are the most helpful and professional I have experienced in Italy. The surrounding areas are not so interesting but the hotel building and grounds are spectacular. An ideal place to retreat from bustle of central Milan.

It is a beautiful hotel, 20 minutes away from the center of Milan, offering a quiet and medieval splendor. Its spacious rooms with high ceilings, magnificent decorations and classic Italian rustic decor may cause you to extend your stay. The breakfast hall, with its decoration, will allow you to start the day in Milan with a similarly pleasant and enjoyable morning. When compared in terms of price, service and atmosphere, it is a Hilton hotel that can always be preferred compared to the higher priced hotels located in the center of Milan.

We have visited and toured Milan previously. The Grand Hotel Villa Torretta, Curio Collection by Hilton, was actually just outside the northernmost stop on the Milan Metro M1 line and considered to be in a suburb of Milan. However, for us, it was perfectly located away from the hoards of tourists but close enough by convenient metro to easily experience during our three-night stay such attractions as "The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci and Castello Sforzesco which we had not before seen. Originally thought to be the site of a medieval fortress and rebuilt as a noble residence in the 1300's, Villa Torretta provided a carefree step back into history together with all our indispensable modern conveniences. The hotel's signature restaurant, Il Vico Della Torretta, offered an extensive dinner menu. However, aside from selecting the Capesante (scallops) with lemon salt as a starter, the dinner choice was easy. Their Risotto Milano has won accolades from experts as Best Risotto with Zafferano and was quite simply beyond delectable.

WATCH OUT IF USING THE HILTON HONORS AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD I enjoyed my stay, room comfortable, breakfast nice, location good. However, there's something fishy going on there with their seemingly not wanting to accept the Hilton Honors American Express card. At check-in, I was told their computers were down. When I went back a while later, I witnessed someone checking in so I asked to have my card put on file for incidentals, but was told just take care of it in a few days when you check out. (??) At any rate, at check out, Amex accepted the charge twice, but, according to Amex, the hotel reversed the charges! Long story short, I ended up having to pay with a different card, losing the bonus points that would have been credited, as well as the quarterly credit for that stay.

It's a Curio so an old palace with rooms updated to out times. It is a ten minute walk to the metro and easy 10 min ride then to center of Milan. It's at the end of a line so nevver busy when you get on. THE SERVICE - the staff at this hotel go above and beyond. I specifically want to give a shout out to Isabelle who was on the late shift one evening when we returned from our days activities. She asked where we were headed next, we were catching the train the next AM to Naples. Thurns out she was from Naples so she took the time to share many of her favorite places for us to visit, restaurants, etc. Isabelle went above and beyond! These kind of people make hotel stays!

Amazing stay! The architecture of the hotel and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. The front desk staff, Isabelle and Stefano are so nice , generous and efficient. They made our trip so enjoyable that our little boy wants to stay for longer! It’s a bit outside of the city but easy to get to with metro or your own car. Parking on site is very easy and free. Thank you Hilton for the wonderful people, the beautiful property and the amazing stay!

The hotel is rich in history and is located outside the city, offers ample parking and spacious rooms equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. While the bathtub in the bathroom was less than ideal for showering, the wide and incredibly comfortable bed made up for it. The in-house restaurant exudes chic ambiance and provides exceptional service. Dinner was enjoyable. Overall, the staff's attentiveness and professionalism greatly enhanced the experience, despite the limited plant-based options at breakfast. However, they were accommodating in providing plant-based milks upon request. Additionally, you can enjoy hot meals for breakfast, including customized omelettes with veggies, upon request. Although the gym was small, it did offer free weights and some cardio equipment. In conclusion, I would definitely return for another stay.

Ambiente fantastico Presentazione dei piatti eccellente Risotto porcini superbo, tagliatelle al ragù di maialino insapori, tagliata e filetto mignon non certo all’altezza dell’aspetto e del prezzo, sembravano bolliti. Dolci nella media. Servizio discreto ma on eccellente. Una cosa stupisce in un locale con quelle pretese: i capotti dei clienti sulla spalliera delle sedie: possibile che con tutto quello spazio non si riesca a trovare un angolo dove riporle? Oltre tutto rovinano le foto…

Location molto bella….!!! Cibo di ottima qualità con materie prime di tutto rispetto . Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo . Grazie LF
