I migliori ristoranti in Milano

19/05/2025: I stopped for a glass of red wine on May 4th. Nice atmosphere and welcoming place. Afterwards I went to eat at the Sartori butcher's shop opposite but they didn't have wine on the menu. They kindly told me that I could take it out and drink it during dinner in their restaurant. So I went back to Cantine Isola to get a bottle and have it opened (since the butcher's shop had also told me they didn't have a bottle opener). Here's the surprise. Wine was 24 euros but to open the bottle they wanted 12 euros more. The reason is that there is a difference between buying it for home and consuming it outside the restaurant. I explained in a thousand ways that I wouldn't consume the wine outside Cantine Isola but in a seated restaurant... in other words I simply asked for the courtesy of opening the bottle for me but the crazy internal rules made this impossible. How disgusting. I should point out that I didn't pay the 12 euros and had the restaurant next to Cantine Isola open the bottle for me. Thank you for this terrible service and for the total lack of flexibility.

18/05/2025: Stopping by for a drink before lunch, I was able to sit inside and enjoy the beautiful view of the many bottles on display: there's no doubt there's something for everyone! I enjoyed my drink with some appetizers offered at the counter. A small terrace on this pedestrian street allows groups to sit down for those who are lucky enough to find a table.

23/05/2025: Great selection of wines. Burgund, Deutschland/Pfalz, Champagne, Italia, Austria and more... The Monopole Herni Boillot a rollacoster. The Tuscan prosciutto phenomenal. Very friendly and attentive team. I will definitely be back.

26/05/2025: Excellent sandwiches, good chips too. A pub in full style with good music at the right volume (it is the protagonist but does not prevent you from chatting). The only small flaw: the fog, the kitchen is close to the tables so after a while the environment becomes full of cooking fumes and very strong smells that remain on you. In any case recommended.

It is very convenient to make reservations in advance, whether online or by phone, but if you arrive at the restaurant at short notice, you may need to wait for a table. The meal for two people cost about 50 euros. The overall quality of the dishes is good and the ingredients are fresh. It's just that the taste is slightly unbalanced - the main flavor of each dish is very prominent, which easily covers other flavors, and there is a slight "collision" feeling at the end of the meal. The restaurant space is a bit compact, but it is common in cities like Milan and does not affect the dining experience. The service is OK and the environment is clean and tidy. Il servizio è Stable gentile, l’ambiente pulito and accogliente. It's a challenge, it's 7,5 years old.

15/05/2025: I am a real fan of Paiolo. In my opinion you should not miss the Gianni, the rib eye steak you see in the photo. It is delicious, plentiful and leaves you really satisfied. Recommended!

27/04/2025: Bar de cerveza artesanal decente justo al lado de Corso Buenos Aires. Buena gama en grifo y en latas, optó por el Praetoria pilsner & Us Maailm Ipa que eran ambos decentes. Bonita zona de estar afuera para ver el mundo pasar. Digno de una visita si estás por ahí.

Famous for its Panettone, the "Millefoglie" cake, the vanilla cream and the chestnut cream... how is it made here... you can't find it anywhere and finally for the golden cream puffs and it's not the cannons filled with cream.... Must try! CdM
