The restaurant was not busy when we arrived on a Thursday evening and we were seated right away. We ordered the lobster pasta and the Fiorentina steak. The pasta arrived hot and it was very flavorful. The steak was good but would not order that next time. Their menu has many great options. Would recommend going with many people so you can taste a variety. Service started friendly but tapered off at the end and we received no attention towards the end of our meal. The local Italians that came in received a lot of attention, served first and were offered dessert whilst we had to repeatedly ask. Overall would recommend this place.

A lovely place with wonderful people! This is one of the last remaining "old-style" restaurants; friendliness and quality food are the watchwords. Also excellent for business lunches. They have a very extensive wine selection! The Fiorentina alla Gianni, the house specialty, is definitely worth trying at least once! Homemade desserts!

We ordered pasta and meat! It was delicious! The best I've had in Italy! We were given tiramisu at the end! They also have a menu in Japanese. The staff were very friendly.

My husband and I discovered this restaurant by chance a few years ago, and since then it's been our little ritual after work meetings. Here you'll find a welcoming atmosphere, good, authentic food like in the olden days, and a level of customer service that's now rare. This was the first restaurant I went to in Italy, and it was the most delicious and unforgettable. I arrived just after 2 PM, just before lunch ended, but I managed to get in. The atmosphere for an Italian lunch is stylish. Some customers even brought their dogs with them. I enthusiastically ordered their specialty dishes. - Half a glass of red wine 7€ - Milanese risotto 13€ - Cutlet 21€ - Salami 11€ - Tiramisu 7€ - Lemon tart 7€ The risotto was so delicious I almost cried. I don't know why, but everything just seemed to come together perfectly (I'm short on words). The next best thing was the cutlet. It was light and crispy, yet packed with flavor. When I looked up Milan specialties online, I saw comments saying that the cutlet and Milanese risotto were just as expected and not worth trying, but this restaurant was different. You should definitely try them. The salami was perfectly salty and went so well with the wine that a half bottle wasn't enough. The desserts were also impeccable. The staff spoke some broken Japanese and the service was great. I'm so satisfied with this restaurant that I'd like to come back to Milan just for this.

We both ordered mushroom rigatoni and water. The food itself was delicious and we were satisfied with the flavor. However, although this was entirely through no fault of the restaurant, the Japanese customers sitting next to us were talking quite loudly, and to be honest, their conversations were not very pleasant, making it difficult to enjoy a relaxed meal. I would have liked to savor my meal at my own pace, but my desire to leave the space quickly got the better of me, so I ate my meal very quickly and asked for the bill. Later, I regret not asking the waiter to move me so I could enjoy my meal more slowly. It seemed like this restaurant was popular with Japanese expatriates in Milan. Therefore, Japanese tourists looking for a Milanese atmosphere and local feel may find it disappointing. Taking this into consideration, I gave it a three-star rating based on my personal experience.

Absolutely delicious! Especially the stir-fried spaghetti with mullet roe and shrimp, the mullet roe added a sweet flavor, and the steak was cooked to perfection—so tender! The accompanying red wine was delicious and inexpensive! Thumbs up!
