18/05/2025: CULINARY HEAVEN! I went for dinner with a friend of mine for the first time and I can say that I will be back again and again. We had mostly Thai food and every time we tasted a dish, the dance of happiness was mandatory: each dish was divinely prepared, the flavors well-defined, balanced and the textures perfect. The mango in the dessert with rice was so damn juicy and sweet that it almost felt like just that to end it in style. In short, everything was so good and authentic that I struggle to say what I preferred. I am very happy to have discovered this Asian corner that certainly stands out from the mainstream Asian restaurants that populate Milan. The staff was super friendly and efficient: their savoir-faire certainly created a nice welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful experience! I can't wait to come back again.

21/05/2025: Service level well above the Milanese average. Exceptional dishes, menu very variable based on the seasons and the availability of butcher's pieces. They don't only eat offal, despite the name: in fact there are also fish and legume dishes. The wine list is quite extensive and the desserts are special and well made. The only flaw, managing to book is a job.

There something for everyone. A must go in southern Italy. Make sure you do three courses. You'll leave with a smile and loving it.

22/04/2025: A welcoming and small restaurant also used for frequent take-away service. Sandwiches in perfect Venetian style and of the highest quality, lovingly prepared by the owner (Enzo who also inspires the name of the place...) who shows the preparation through a beautiful window. Absolutely excellent price and quality, perhaps a little out of the way but worth enjoying the many inviting types of sandwiches. Just pay attention to the opening hours.

I had lunch at a table of 13 people and the thing that surprised me most positively concerns the fact that even though we had ordered different courses individually, the waiters knew who to deliver the relative courses to without having to ask, as often happens, "who ordered that dish?". Incredible! Fast, precise and elegant service. I highly recommend it for business, romantic and company lunches.

23/05/2025: There are rare moments in travel when everything aligns: place, mood, flavor, time. Sabbia d’Oro was one of those moments. My husband and I found ourselves returning here several evenings during our stay in Milan. We always ordered well, perhaps instinctively. The candlelight cast a golden softness over the stone walls, and the hush of the room encouraged quiet conversation. It’s rare to find a restaurant that feels both romantic and restorative, but this one does. The linguine all’astice was a standout. Chewy ribbons of fresh pasta catching every note of the sweet lobster, the briny sea, the softened garlic, and the delicate acidity of the tomato. It was a dish of warmth and depth, comforting but elevated. One of the most memorable meals of my life. ✨ Another evening, I enjoyed the tagliolini al salmone, where smoked salmon and cream wrapped each strand in satin richness. It was delicate and indulgent at once. The pizza Sabbia d’Oro is also worth seeking out. Creamy buffalo mozzarella and peppery, nutty arugula create a balance of richness and bite. We also wound up celebrating my birthday here. There was no fanfare - just time, space, and attention. If Milan is on your horizon, this place should be, too.

02/05/2025: Nice restaurant with the smell of a Michelin star: two tasting menus with the possibility of transforming them à la carte by choosing dishes from each menu. For the first time we choose the classics. Among all, a delicious risotto stands out. The deer is excellent; the beef fillet is good. The bread and butter is not at all banal, a childhood memory in a luxury restaurant version. All presented with accurate, original preparations where spices, herbs and vegetables complete the dishes brilliantly. We drink an excellent Tuscan white and are served with care, precision and professionalism. Bill in line with the type of restaurant. Positive experience.

24/04/2025: We hadn't been to Bu:r for years, since it was called Essenza.... Evidently the experience has made him make giant strides!! The venison was all really excellent, its iconic dish, unique and difficult to find in other restaurants, very good veal, and a very good sommelier. We will definitely be back
