06/04/2026: I had two cappuccinos, both good. The price was fair. Everything else was spotty. The bathroom was dirty. There was no key, not even toilet paper. Both people were lost; the lady was struggling to take orders and make coffees, while her colleague left his pens lying around because he had to write receipts.
05/04/2026: It’s very close to train station. I took away the Tiramisu and the Cannoli which suggested by a cute young man. Both are not too sweet, tasted good!

05/10/2025: The place is clearly understaffed, and you can clearly tell the staff is very tense. It's not their fault, but with all the people in the place, they obviously had to work hard. It's a shame because the food is very good and the location and view are truly exceptional. A clear message to the owners to invest a little more, but perhaps it's unnecessary, because given the location's touristy atmosphere, there will always be tourists.
07/09/2025: My family and I experienced racism for the first time at this restaurant.
We waited 45 minutes for our menus, were refused a seat on the terrace even though there were seats available, and were given a dish I hadn't ordered.
Terrible service.
The worst experience in a restaurant.
In the end, the server (a gentleman in his fifties or older) told us it wasn't the place for us.
P.S.: I'm not writing this comment in anger because it's been over a month since we returned from vacation.

01/11/2025: On our way back from visiting Balcone d'Italia, we stopped in for coffee and dessert. The service was excellent, too. The place is small but cozy.
18/10/2025: Café with very friendly service, who also speak German.
Very nice ambiance outside on the small village square. Fortunately in summer, but unfortunately in autumn, the lovely seating is in the shade.
This was our second time here and we'd love to come back.

03/01/2026: The pizza was very tasty. Well done. However, the waiter seated us (in winter, outside +1) next to the side door where you enter the kitchen, the exit door, some bottles and some other goods next to us, the way to the toilet... we didn't like it so we moved to a better place. There was some drunk lady who was making a scene in the toilet. She was banging on the door of the men's toilet because she didn't know it wasn't a women's one.

07/12/2025: It's a shame, I think it's the worst place I've ever eaten. I don't usually leave reviews, but after this experience at this restaurant, I really feel like I have to.
I ordered spaghetti amore mio (spaghetti with tomato sauce and burrata). It didn't specify that it contained pancetta (at least I think that's what it was), which left a terrible taste in the pasta and sauce, not to mention the burrata, which had an acidic aftertaste.
We also ordered fries, which I ate three hours ago, and I still have the taste of oil in my mouth because they were so greasy and fried in terrible oil that they hadn't changed in days.
23/10/2025: My wife and I ate there three times. The dishes were delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
We don't understand the negative reviews.

21/10/2025: Food and service were outstanding. Not to mention the stunning view. My husband and I went there for a coffee at first and the staff was so lovely we decided to go back for brunch. After that we went back for dinner. We just couldn't get enough of this place. We had a 3 weeks vacation driving around Italy and our experience at Terraza was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The dinner we had was comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. Andrea and Nico were lovely and offered impeccable service. Looking forward to my next Lake Como trip.

We were tempted after looking at Google reviews.
Positive: the prices are very affordable for such a touristy area.
As for the rest: the waiter was expressionless, didn't even say goodbye to my wife and daughter... the food wasn't great... it seemed homemade, but the taste wasn't there.
I don't particularly recommend this place.
Maybe we just picked the wrong one?

All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
