High-quality, well-balanced ingredients, from the tomato sauce to the mozzarella, and the toppings. The pizza is generous and flavorful without being heavy. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, and the service is friendly. A place you'll gladly return to if you're looking for a good, well-made pizza.

04/04/2026: The heat has finally arrived (and sometimes it's even a bit too windy).
The ice cream shop is well-known, and there's nothing to complain about in terms of quality, variety, or flavors (the yogurt one remains my favorite because I fool myself into thinking it's less sugary). You can't live with the glucose axe hanging over your head, otherwise what kind of life is it?
The benches are a bit too sunny during the day, and it's better to take shelter behind them (at the foot of the parking lot facing the police station), then you can dispose of everything in the park. The prices are a bit high, but you pay for quality. Let's assume it's the oil.

28/12/2025: Without a doubt, the best bar in the area. The atmosphere is modern but unpretentious, and you can go for a quick breakfast or an aperitivo. If you're lucky, you'll find incredible homemade Krapfen in the morning.
10/12/2025: Bar 44 has quickly become one of my favorite places! The atmosphere is modern, welcoming, and well-designed, ideal for both a quick break and a relaxing moment. The staff is always friendly, smiling, and quick with their service, which really makes the difference.
The coffees and breakfasts are excellent: fresh croissants, creamy cappuccinos, and a wide selection to please everyone. The place is also a great place for aperitivo, with well-prepared drinks and tasty appetizers.
A bar where you can feel the professionalism and attention to detail.
Highly recommended!

08/02/2026: We were walking along the lakeside in Dongo and I remembered that there was this restaurant at the mouth of the Albano River. My wife and I, who frequent restaurants, immediately noticed the cleanliness of the place and the bathrooms. Nothing to say. Eat a chop, a cutlet, good fries, drinks, grandma's lemon dessert, a spectacle. Good, good, good, more than fair price. The service, with a smile and kindness, always brings the customer back even though we come from Brianza. We will gladly return.

Also, individual packets of olive oil and balsamic vinegar have no place in an Italian restaurant.
22/03/2026: One of the best pizzas I've had on Lake Como. The quality of the ingredients is impeccable, and the portions are excellent! We've been there at least five times and will definitely be back next time we're in Italy!

17/02/2026: Average aperitif, perhaps we were a little too closely watched by the service staff. They could place the food away from the unhygienic cash register counter. There was too much ice in the spritz. They took away the glass when there was still some drink in it.

02/04/2026: The price-value ratio might be good, but I'd point out that the fries are very oily and not crunchy. The carbonara is made according to a chef's recipe, not the actual recipe. It's fine for filling up, considering the quality of the food. I'd revisit a few things. There's nothing for kids, not even a simple breaded steak or chicken nuggets. I hope you'll see the menu again. I recommend a few dishes, but good ones! Not many, but...

I thank the wonderful employees who forced me to miss lunch with my family over Easter because in 2026—and I emphasize TWO THOUSAND AND TWENTY-SIX—a 1.5 kg dog who sits politely in his carrier without causing anyone the slightest disturbance will not be welcome in the restaurant.
Rather than worry about my dog (a large, ferocious beast weighing just over 1 kg), perhaps I'd worry about the hygiene inside the restaurant, which even without dogs leaves a lot to be desired.
