06/04/2025: Prezzi ok anche se non economici (ma siamo in una piazza turistica, quindi messi a preventivo), cocktail ordinari, stuzzichini deludenti… … ma soprattutto i camerieri arroganti, scazzati, maleducati Ragazzi miei: se i clienti (che vi danno la pagnotta) vi stanno sul ca***o, cosa legittima, ma cambiate mestiere! Non ve l’abbiamo detto noi di fare i camerieri in Piazza Volta.. conosco tante fabbriche che non trovano personale Italietta

25/02/2025: Ojalá todos los bares fueran así... siéntate en una silla adecuada con poca iluminación y disfruta de una copa, cerveza o whisky. La decoración es sofisticada y cómoda, ideal para una noche con amigos o solo.

08/06/2025: Como has endless amounts of hills/mountains, water (Lake Como is 149 sq kms and the deepest lake in Europe at 425M), and restaurants. There are restaurants on every square, every corner and every side street, all touting for your patronage. With such endless choice, how do you choose where to have your evening dinner? Well we have a suggestion for you. A restaurant with lots of nocturnal atmosphere (flaming gas light heaters), opposite the Cathedral, excellent service and gourmet cuisine (at a price), Da Pietro. The meals are a level up from the norm and the Beef Wellington is divine. Plenty of menu choice beyond the standard pasta and pizza, and a good selection of wines (it’s Italy, what else could you expect!) If you are really lucky you will get young Russian Kate (Kata) as your waitress, perpetually smiling , very efficient and attentive to your every dining need. Also as well as speaking Russian , she also speaks both fluent English and Italian very quickly, but not at the same time! An excellent dining experience, great food, efficient and friendly service via Kata. RECOMMENDED.

18/05/2025: This is an AMAZING family run business! The food was incredible and very affordable! We had a lasagna, spaghetti with pistachio pesto and burata and even took a pizza to go. They where very friendly and the food was great! This is a hidden pearl and everyone should have a chance to try it!

17/05/2025: We ate there with our children a few years ago. We didn't like it then either. This time, we thought maybe things had changed since the gluten-free pizza was so highly praised. But it was very disappointing. The pizza base was a frozen, mass-produced item, probably from S...r, and the tomato sauce was simply passata with no seasoning. It was one of the worst gluten-free pizzas I've ever had. My husband's regular pizza tasted of nothing either. The tomato puree base was, of course, the same as mine. And the dough tasted of nothing either. The toppings were simply slapped on without any care. The grumpy waiter was the icing on the cake of our restaurant visit.

31/05/2025: Watermelon and mango granita, delicious and natural!!! Fresh fruit and super refreshing. I recommend it!!

23/05/2025: We wanted to try this ice cream shop. The welcome was excellent and professional. We took a two-flavor cone (€3.50) with pistachio and yogurt and a cup with chocolate (€3.00). The flavors were bland, you couldn't distinguish the pistachio, yogurt and chocolate, it seemed like you were eating the same flavor. Also in the ice cream you could feel small balls of ice, not giving the creaminess of the ice cream. We threw them away.

03/06/2025: We command two ciabata and french fries at 12:00 and we receive the food at 12:50 cause : internet got a problem !? Why every one around us arrived after us was served ? And for the final they make a mistake on one ciabata.. No price, nothing .. The food was ok.

25/05/2025: Ottimo posto in cui cenare, consigliato per cene tra amici e grandi compagnie grazie alla disponibilità di un grande salone. Pizza molto buona con un impasto davvero leggero. Ambiente curato, personale simpatico e disponibile! Super consigliato!!

17/05/2025: Large place suitable for groups of people. We stopped in the company of friends of 15 people on a Saturday evening. Fair price and pizza 10/10, excellent dough and toppings to die for. I recommend stopping on a Sunday for lunch or Saturday evening with friends.

31/05/2025: What can I say about Garibaldi? I would call it a time machine of Lombard cuisine. Where the chef was the Chef with a capital C and not a trendy Chef who chases reviews on social media, a place where YOU EAT and not where you go to take pictures of the dishes, a place where you can spend a nice evening with friends or family. Yes, true, it really seems like a leap of thirty years back in time but this is precisely one of the reasons why I love this restaurant. It still manages to be authentic which, these days, is perhaps the only true yardstick. Come on guys!

15/04/2025: Garibaldi is certainty and tradition. The starter is a buffet, the mondeghini, the meatballs, the nervetti and the Russian salad are exceptional. We come often and the menu is updated according to the season, always with traditional dishes. We always have a great time!

07/06/2025: Very well-kept and welcoming place, the quality of the food is always very high but the real difference is made by the staff. Kind, fun and super professional. Tina Beretta is always a guarantee but with a staff like that I will go back more than willingly

27/05/2025: The clerk who greeted me was annoyed because she asked me if I had already consumed, and I politely pointed out to her that I was at the cash register to pay and then consume. She looked at her colleague with an annoyed expression towards me. Even though I had said hello when leaving, she looked and did not return the greeting.
