16/05/2025: Kebab sandwich is fantastic! I've been there several times and every time it's a superlative experience. Let's start with the bread: it's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, you can feel that it's fresh and not the usual industrial sandwich. The meat is of excellent quality, never dry. They have a homemade spicy sauce that is a real delight for those who love strong flavors, but even the classic sauces (yogurt and white) are creamy and tasty, perfect for balancing the flavor of the meat. The sandwich is always well filled with meat, fresh vegetables (crunchy salad, tasty tomatoes, finely chopped onion). The staff is also always kind and smiling, which never hurts. The environment is simple but clean and welcoming. The best in the area

16/05/2025: Ci sono stato diverse volte e ogni volta è un'esperienza superlativa. Partiamo dal pane: è croccante fuori e morbido dentro, si sente che è fresco e non la solito panino industriale. La carne è di ottima qualità, mai secca. Hanno una salsa piccante fatta in casa che è una vera delizia per chi ama i sapori decisi, ma anche le salse classiche (yogurt e bianca) sono cremose e gustose, perfette per bilanciare il sapore della carne. Il panino è sempre ben farcito di carne, verdure fresche (insalata croccante, pomodori saporiti, cipolla tagliata finemente). Anche il personale è sempre gentile e sorridente, il che non guasta mai. L'ambiente è semplice ma pulito e accogliente.Il migliore della zona!

01/06/2025: Wonderful small resteraunt at the top of the funicular up from Como. It's the first one you get to when you get off at the top. Many outside tables, all overlooking the view out over Como. Service is fast and efficient, food very good, pizza's very good, enough to share if you just want a snack or a meal for one if you are more hungry. The funicular is very popular and quess can be long. If possible get tickets from somewhere else then you can just hold up your ticket and go straight to the carriage.

04/01/2025: Having entered a place with terrifying environments worthy of the worst post-Soviet realism with hygiene that defies Nas and a display case of pastries with some "Luisona" now at retirement age, my wife and I, a native of the area and linked to ancestral memories, order two chocolates with cream. They are served to us in a flash (from which we assume they were generated from pre-packaged sachets) and topped with a spray of horrible spray cream. Lukewarm, tasteless drinks, at the "modest" price of ten euros. I know the world of catering and commerce coming, moreover, from a seaside tourist resort in central Italy, but every time I struggle to understand how one can be so expensive, especially in Valle Intelvi, simply to "cheat" customers, without considering that in this way, at least for customers like myself, it will only be possible to do it once. Absolutely not recommended.

11/05/2025: We are on holiday from Australia and upon arrival in Sala Comacina searched for a bar with a great view to have a drink. Lido di Sala Comacina was perfect for this, the view was beautiful and we thought the staff were very friendly and accommodating given we only speak English! The drinks were so delicious, my husband had an aperol spritz and I had a lemoncello spritz and a Hugo spritz, definitely the best I’ve had! They also brought little snacks with the drink which was so lovely!

03/05/2025: A wonderful charming hotel. I was traveling by motorcycle and received a warm welcome. I was even able to park my motorcycle in the garage. The hotel is a bit older but it has a special charm and is well maintained. It is a very beautiful and authentic environment. In just a few meters you can reach the center with the church, restaurants and shops. The room is very clean with good facilities, the bed is very comfortable. The balcony offers a great panoramic view. I felt completely comfortable and can fully recommend the hotel! Thank you for everything !

30/05/2025: We were out on our motorbikes on May 1st, the heat and the traffic were nightmares when suddenly we saw this place along the road, we stopped (with the motorbike it is easy to park for cars a nightmare given the lack of space and parking) and, after they made us sit facing the lake (even though we had not booked) with a breathtaking view, we took two platters (cold cuts and cheeses) a Caesar Salad (huge) a beer and a spritz (51 euros). The price may seem high but the quality, the service and the view enjoyed, justified the expense. Recommended

25/03/2025: Un ristorante che è una certezza. L’abbiamo scelto in tantissime occasioni, da una cena romantica a un pranzo domenicale in famiglia a una cena aziendale. Una vista spettacolare e un servizio impeccabile. Non ho nessun appunto da fare perché ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo. Una cucina sempre di altissimo livello con piatti tipici della tradizione valtellinese. D’estate in veranda ti godi l’aria fresca e la tranquillità, basterebbe questo per sceglierlo ancora e ancora. Matteo è un ragazzo attento e un ottimo padrone di casa. Sempre consigliato.

23/03/2025: Abbiamo prenotato alle 13:00 un tavolo per il nostro anniversario e ci hanno fatto sedere alle 14:15 senza darci troppe spiegazioni, se non che il primo turno non aveva ancora finito di mangiare. Peccato che non ci avevano avvisato al telefono quando abbiamo prenotato. Se avessimo saputo che fanno turni, probabilmente avremmo cambiato location. Cibo buono ma nemmeno un gesto per scusare il ritardo di un’ora e mezza… neanche il dolce offerto o un piccolo sconto sul totale del conto. Peccato, a volte basta poco!

08/05/2025: Ich mache schon seit Jahren Urlaub in Domaso. Gehe auch im Urlaub öfters in dieses Restaurant wegen der guten Pizza. Preise sind auch ok. Aber die Bedienungen, seit Jahren unfreundlich. Ich dachte das mit den unfreundlichen Bedingungen hätte sich 2025 geändert, aber leider nicht. Außer dem Pizza Bäcker ist hier wirklich das gesamte Personal sehr unfreundlich.

19/04/2025: Small but welcoming place, good, broad but not exaggerated menu. Very good prices. The 2 of us spent just under €40 for dinner.

26/03/2025: A nice bar. I like that you can sit right on the street and look into the cars. But it is also possible to drink wine or coffee inside. You feel like a local among locals.
