My appetite was too big to even bother taking photos. It happens again today! 😋 I've known the place for several years and they've remained authentic! Personally, I find the various pizza slices super delicious. The sausage one is my favorite! The staff? Easygoing and super kind. The 5 stars go to THEM as people and to the pizza slices... A perfect combination. Thank you.

18/11/2025: I felt right at home! The owner is very kind; she'll welcome you and make you feel truly at home. The food is delicious, but it's a shame I was working during business hours and couldn't try the wine, which they have a large selection of. The desserts were really good, so much so that I even complimented the owner. The dessert was also really good. Fairly priced. Recommended 🩷

11/04/2026: Excellent Restaurant Meets Beautiful Hotel This hotel was a lifesaver on my motorcycle trip to Tuscany. We had booked our first stay at a different hotel through Booking.com. But when we arrived at 7:30 p.m., there was no one there – a very unpleasant situation. I searched for alternatives using Google Maps and called four hotels – all were fully booked. On my fifth call, to Hotel Castello, a friendly voice answered: "Yes, we still have a room for you." I was delighted – I took it immediately. I arrived around 9:00 p.m., so relatively late. The restaurant was very busy. The pool area between the two buildings – one housing the restaurant, the other additional hotel rooms – was beautifully lit and, although it was only April, already open. The friendly voice from the phone then personally greeted me at reception. She immediately recognized that a quick check-in was needed – and that's exactly how it was done: friendly, quick, and efficient. 20/05/2026: The view of Lake Garda is breathtaking. Since we only wanted a cappuccino, we were relegated to the back rows under the waiter's stern gaze, even though there were still seats available at the front. A shame, but okay. I didn't feel welcome at all. It seemed to me that attention was only given to the locals and well-known guests. Not even a smile for us. Passersby had asked about ice cream – apparently, they don't have any; I found that hard to understand. I then wanted to pay and had to do so inside. Our waiter, who was still taking his time, printed out the receipt for me, and I asked again where I could pay. "Right here," he indicated. Only when I reiterated that I wanted to pay by card did he take out the card reader. Still with a stern expression. Sorry, but that kind of attitude doesn't deserve a tip.

20/05/2026: I have never in my entire life been served so rudely by someone in a restaurant, and by the owner himself, no less. Bread rolls were slammed onto the table with an irritated expression. The order was placed with an irritated face and a hand gesture indicating what we wanted. We asked for Parmesan cheese for the pasta, but when it arrived, a small bowl was conjured up with a tiny leftover in it, which he scraped together and threw onto our pasta. When we asked for more, he spoke irritably to another waiter, and ultimately, no cheese arrived. The entire time, he was irritated and rude, not only to us but also to two other families who were treated exactly the same way. Eventually, we confronted him about it, along with the two other families, and he said in an angry voice, "Yes, yes, fine, pay up and get out," with a hand gesture multiple times, and then threw the receipt on the floor. This was done to the other families as well, including an elderly couple, where the old man had to bend down to pick up his receipt. Regular customers came in in between; you could tell by the way he cheerfully welcomed them, shook their hands, and was talking to them with a cheerful smile—he was a completely different person, unbelievable to see. The waiters and waitresses were also treated rudely by him, and they apologized to us for his behavior; it is terrible that these people have to deal with someone like that every day, and I wish them strength. The view was beautiful, though (photos of the owner are not allowed: small man with a big nose and glasses).

10/05/2026: We ordered two white spritzes, and received two glasses of sparkling water with lemon. I asked for them to be upgraded with a little more wine (just to taste it), and they returned practically the same glasses... €5 each. I understand the rising cost of everything, but if I pay, I'd rather consume what I ordered and nothing else. I'm sorry, but I hope they improve, thanks in part to the negative reviews.

06/05/2026: Probably the most popular venue in this splendid medieval square, "Dolce Vite" is a veritable hub of events, the full schedule of which is available on the website. We stopped here for an aperitivo on a day when the weather allowed us to linger at the outdoor tables. The menu is extremely varied, and among the various cocktails, I noticed one made with vodka and ginger. I opted for this one, and I must say I would have gladly returned... A rich platter of appetizers is served to accompany the meal.
