02/06/2026: There are very few restaurants that stand out in Val Camonica, and Da Sapì is one of them. You'll immediately notice this from the welcome you receive in this simple yet refined, no-frills establishment. A long, narrow room faces the beautiful counter where artisanal gelato is served, even to those who don't dine in, and another, larger room.
Courtesy and expertise are immediately evident in the menu explanations. Respect for the local area and the supply chain, with all the suppliers listed on the menu.
The cuisine is truly interesting, with strong mountain influences and a modern twist. Bold flavors and always balanced dishes, like the delicate yet present marinated trout. Perfectly cooked, like the venison.
Special attention is paid to the coffee, with a variety of options, both in terms of origin and preparation.
Prices are slightly lower than average; being in the valley really makes themselves felt.
Absolutely not to be missed if you're dining in the area. (I don't take photos of the dishes while I eat.)
04/03/2026: Following the advice of friends who have been there, I decided to celebrate my birthday with my family. It was an exceptional culinary experience, with delicious dishes crafted with the freshest local ingredients and traditional flavors.
The aromas, oil, butter, perfumes, herbs, and essences make the dishes even more delicious and refined.
The bread, focaccia, and breadsticks are all homemade, a real 10+.
The intimate and welcoming atmosphere made the evening perfect. Excellent value, we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

09/03/2026: A truly pleasant surprise!
We came here one day in the first week of March 2026, and had breakfast with cappuccino and a croissant.
The croissant was clearly not the classic defrosted one (which almost all cafés offer), but rather homemade, soft, crumbly, and melting in your mouth!
The counter was full of pastries, cakes, and more, and the fridge was filled with cakes and tarts, making you want to try a portion of everything...
And the owners were really polite and kind, and the noise was really low—a place you should definitely visit every day.
If you're craving a delicious breakfast, stop here without looking for anything else—you won't regret it!

07/07/2026: Fantastic pizza, fabulous, my compliments, the tiramisu needs to be reviewed, the waiters should be more attentive with the customers, nothing serious, but..........anyway they are young and will improve over time.
30/06/2026: Discovered this pizzeria thanks to a two-night stay nearby, recommended for those who love thin, dry dough, excellent ingredients, and light, easy-to-digest pizza. Special mention also goes to the all-female staff.

They even shut down the infamous ones, after demonstrating incompetence, dusting off the reviews that ended up in the morgue after years.
I don't understand why they don't republish it.

25/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante sabato sera il personale gentile e preparato sui vini, cibo fresco e ottimo, abbiamo mangiato polenta con salmi di cervo che si scioglieva in bocca.
17/03/2025: Siamo stati alla trattoria Stella per il pranzo di domenica 16 marzo 2025. Nel locale erano presenti sia gruppi con allegre tavolate che un paio di tavoli di famiglie/ amici e due tavolini di coppia ( uno il nostro). Accoglienza gentile , presentazione del menù "a voce" credo dal titolare, con varietà di primi e secondi sia tipici camuni che con pesce. Vediamo serviti piatti molto abbondanti e decidiamo un primo spaghetti alle vongole per mio marito e del tonno per me. Ci viene proposto l'antipasto misto mare e accettiamo volentieri uno da condividere (sono le 14 , complimenti il buffet che abbiamo visto al primo piano nel salire era ancora ottimamente fornito ).
Da bere una bottiglia di acqua naturale , mio marito chiede un bicchiere di vino bianco ( poi deve guidare...) la cameriera stappa per lui una bottiglia di pinot nero versa un bicchiere e lascia sul tavolo dicendo - la lascio Senza impegno -.
Sevizio preciso e veloce, piatti abbondanti e molto buoni. Concludiamo con due caffè.
Un piccolo neo il conto, 35€x2 menù
del giorno .... 70€ per 1 antipasto, 1 primo 1 secondo, 1 bottiglia di acqua, 1 bicchiere di vino e 2 caffè.
Comprendo che era pesce, praticamente abbiamo mangiato 1 menù in due. Dopo tanta attenzione nel proporre i piatti e nel chiederci durante il servizio se gradivamo anche formaggio e dolce che non abbiamo preso , sarebbe bastato l'attenzione di un piccolo sconto. Torneremo sicuramente perché il cibo è veramente buono ma chiederemo una carta con menù e prezzi . ( Mi permetto di consigliare che se il menù è fisso chi serve lo faccia presente al cliente già dall' arrivo ) .
