31/03/2024: Started very well, service was excellent and the aperitivo was as you’d expect from a Michelin star restaurant. After our drinks the waiter came over and knelt down next to me and asked us to keep our voices down. This not only broke the good vibe of the restaurant but made us then feel incredibly uncomfortable for the next 7 courses of our meal. As a place where you go for a special occasion I was quite surprised a waiter would make this comment. I was also quite confused as we weren’t speaking loud at all. The food was okay but nothing was really wow. So would say worth a visit but be careful of raising your voice at the risk of offending the waiter.

29/03/2024: The chef knows how to enhance local products by combining tradition with innovation. Giuseppe is also an excellent collaborator and very passionate about his work. Worth trying for those who have never been there and for those who have tried it, it deserves to return

11/03/2024: Location davvero suggestiva e sala molto classica ed elegante. Il personale tutto è stato sempre professionale, gentile e presente Forse non ero nel mood giusto per apprezzare appieno i piatti ma non posso dire di aver gradito il percorso. Ho trovato mancanza di spinta e sapidità in molti dei piatti. Il turbante di branzino molto buono a livello di materia prima ma a mio avviso mortificato dallo zafferano in cui era stato immerso. Anche il pane che di solito è uno dei momenti che più attendo in questo tipo di ristoranti mi ha lasciata un pochino interdetta. Crosta ben presente all'esterno e anche qui però, poco sapore. Il cavolo rosso piacevole così come il filetto di cui però non ho gradito il letto di sedano rapa che peraltro è stato più volte utilizzato durante la degustazione. Nulla contro questo ortaggio ma diciamo che il gusto non è tra i miei favoriti. Apprezzo tuttavia l'idea e la volontà di privilegiare ortaggi invernali e di stagione (sarà che appunto, colpa mia, non li so forse apprezzare) Buona la "bruschetta" con la tartare, forse unico piatto di tutto il menu che davvero mi ha fatto dire "wow"... effetto che in realtà mi sarei aspettata durante l'intero percorso essendo in un ristorante di una certa caratura e nomea. Carina l'idea del sorbetto con le verdure dell'orto come pre-dessert ma mi è sembrato quasi di mangiare un passato di verdure congelate. Dolce senza infamia e senza lode, una bavarese alle castagne su un crumble con gelatina di caffè. Un commento sulla piccola pasticceria finale che davvero non ho quasi toccato: nel caso della gelatina (in questo caso di pere e limone per "sgrassare") personalmente avrei bilanciato diversamente la porzione, era davvero davvero grande e in abbinamento a marshmallow, pan pepato e biscottino rischia di risultare nauseante a fine pasto. Detto ciò, probabilmente ero io in una giornata no, non ne dubito. Peccato davvero.

05/04/2024: The care and attention to detail of the restaurant are reflected in the goodness of each dish which contains the flavors of Lake Garda, enhancing its typicality and tradition but with a modern vision. The fish appetizer and the peasant pike, in my opinion, reflect the essence of the restaurant and the lake. The dining room staff is courteous and prepares quick cuisine. Excellent value for money. Absolutely worth trying

31/03/2024: Great technique and intuition in the kitchen. The Lago menu is imaginative, well executed and very tasty, which beautifully reinterprets the Isean dishes and raw materials. The lake soup is particularly good and the salted char is absolutely superb. Personal opinion, I didn't appreciate the lake sardines: they move too far from the concept of "flavour" that I combine with the sardines from Lake Iseo; furthermore, the combination with the almond was almost like a "dessert" and the cooking of the sardine made it almost steamed. The citrus babà is fresh, joyful and balanced. The bread, focaccia and breadsticks are excellent. Attentive and discreet service. The wines are good.

29/03/2024: If you come to the small town of Gardone Riviera you need to book a table here!! The food is another level of quality, flavor, rich. I cant explain how delicious it was, everything taste different and unique. The service extraordinary, the explain you every plate in detail. Also the invite you for free to taste some snacks and a desert!! More expensive than other restaurants but totally worth it!! Is better to book a table also if you if you want to come for dinner, at lunch you may be lucky.

16/03/2024: We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We had a room with a partial lake view and a small balcony (everything else was already fully booked). The rooms with a partial lake view are not as modern as the others. Very clean everything. The bathroom was rather basic but OK. The drawback was that an unpleasant sewer smell came from the drains in the bathroom. You could always smell that. We plugged the drains with paper and it worked. And the laminate floor in the room was clearly damaged in some places. The friendliness of the employees and the cleanliness of the hotel were top! Good food, good breakfast, great service and a perfect location right on the lake, from which you can also start trips across Lake Garda directly by ferry. In Gardone itself there are a few shops and nice places that you should try. Overall, a successful stay there. We felt good.

13/03/2024: I think September is the wonderful month to visit these places. Hotel Du Lac allowed my wife and me to spend 3 days in complete relaxation, giving me an excellent breakfast and a room with a lake view with all the comforts necessary for the success of my mini holiday. Thanks I hope to be back soon. 👋

03/04/2024: Wonderful, great rooms that have been lovingly renovated in the attic (all 4). Climbing stairs is popular and you should be somewhat fit. The restaurant area is also beautifully designed! The only negative thing was always finding a parking space close to the accommodation. The food was also a bit disappointing; it could have been seasoned more, etc. can, it was good but not nearly as great as it is advertised on the internet through photos etc.

31/03/2024: Warm and welcoming place, with trained and friendly staff. They placed us at a very spacious table, in a quiet room. The Easter lunch is exceptional, with quality raw materials, cooked with great care. Each course was tasty, with attention to form and substance. We will definitely be back to try what the menu offers. Excellent value for money.

06/04/2024: This was the best pizza we ate on our vacation to Italy, the staff was so nice, the place so clean and they have the cleanest toalett I've seen in all Italy. Would really recommend that you go here. Loved it couldn't be better !

06/04/2024: Very good pizza! We had a mix-up with the coffee that was accidentally spilled, but the staff immediately took action to resolve it and the owner gave us a discount, which was much appreciated!

28/11/2023: Fantastic ice-cream and very friendly personnel. There is a lot to choose from, we had ice-cream with 5 persons and all of it tasted absolutely amazing. The fruity ice-cream/ sorbet tasted very intense, absolutely natural and had a great texture. We could instantly identify the flavour, without knowing what it was. The creamy flavours (vanilla, salted caramel) tasted intense and had a super creamy texture as well. For us an absolute highlight and a five star recommendation without any let-downs. This is a no-brainer and by far the best ice we've had this holiday.

05/11/2023: In my opinion the best ice cream shop in Salò and surrounding areas. The ice cream is made with excellent quality ingredients and you can really feel the difference on the palate. Special attention is paid to those intolerant to lactose who always find some tasty flavors such as vegan cremino or vegan stracciatella, as well as the classic hazelnut, chocolate and pistachio, all delicious. Five stars also for the management: friendliness, kindness and desire to innovate every day make this ice cream shop truly special. A defect? In the winter months, during the closure, you may feel withdrawal symptoms!

06/04/2024: All perfect. But the dogs are very disturbing. Better to leave them outside the restaurant, for hygienic and good manners reasons. Dogs are non-commensal dogs.

02/04/2024: An Easter Monday with friends in this beautiful restaurant that I recommend to everyone. Excellent dishes, very nice staff and attentive to customer needs. Grandma Clementina's pappardelle are excellent, the mushroom risotto is exceptional. And the casarecce with fish? Do we want to talk about it? Finally, we recommend the house wine. Congratulations from the bottom of my heart. Chapeau.

03/03/2024: I absolutely recommend it, a very beautiful and well-kept place, an exceptional view especially to enjoy in summer, impeccable food with refined dishes, and finally Enzo makes you feel at home and pampers you in every way, including his staff no less.
