30/05/2026: All the best! Strategic location, very close to bus and ferry stops, on the lake shore, restaurants and bars all around. Private garage available upon request. Large and comfortable room; ours had a terrace with a chair and lounger. I highly recommend this option. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was excellent, both in terms of variety and quality. The staff is the pride of this property. Everyone was kind and professional. A special thanks to the very young receptionist, who has already perfectly adapted to her role with competence and friendliness. One of those places you leave with nostalgia and a desire to return.

07/07/2026: Disappointing. We waited 25 minutes to be served - other tables who came in at the same time, had their starters before we even got spoken to. We then had to ask for the bread after our primi had arrived. Overall we felt very dismissed, as the food was nice but didn't really want to be there. Theres better around Garda.

01/07/2026: Great food and wine, but disastrously slow service. The staff was somehow everywhere and nowhere at the same time. The most inefficient service I’ve ever experience. We had to ask to pay three separate times and ended up waiting 30 minutes just to settle the bill. Disappointing end to a good meal.

I've been there several times now—and each time, I've felt like I wasn't just going out to eat, but rather part of a deeply personal culinary narrative. Riccardo Camanini's cuisine combines something that very few chefs master: the utmost precision with genuine warmth. Nothing here feels loud, contrived, or gimmicky. Instead, perfect ingredients, exceptional technique, and immense creativity combine to create a cuisine brimming with soul and emotion. Dishes like the legendary Cacio e Pepe served in a pig's bladder are, of course, spectacular—not for the visual effect, but because they possess an incredible depth, elegance, and naturalness. This same quality permeates the entire menu: memories, childhood, tradition, and modern interpretation merge into something entirely unique. What I find particularly impressive is how poetic this cuisine remains despite all its technical sophistication. Some dishes are almost like little stories—sometimes warm and comforting, sometimes surprisingly playful, but always with remarkable clarity and a deep respect for the ingredients. Added to this is the exceptional hospitality, which has become rare even in top-tier restaurants. You don't feel like you're in a temple of fine dining, but genuinely welcome. Elegant, attentive, but never aloof. And then, of course, there's the location on Lake Garda, which makes the entire experience almost unreal. For me, Lido 84 is now clearly one of the most impressive restaurants in Europe—not only because of its culinary excellence, but because it achieves something far more difficult: bringing emotion to the plate.

18/03/2026: I'm starting on a sad note because you'll never be able to experience or share an experience like this again (it closes this Sunday), because I'm getting emotional writing these words, like when I ate the spaghetti I've been wanting to try for years... we were fortunate enough to experience certain flavors, certain dishes, combinations, ideas, and emotions in this place, and I hope the next time we try Camanini's dishes will be as soon as possible. On the one hand, I'd like to comment on how unique the dishes were (the photos speak for themselves) or how beautiful it was to see the perfect decor, but what we prefer to share is the kindness, empathy, and humanity that the entire staff demonstrated. It's indescribable, and it made a fantastic evening that we'll remember for a lifetime, something words can't express. I just wanted to say thank you, and we truly hope to see you again soon. 23/06/2026: An absolute dream, outstanding cuisine with incredibly friendly service and staff. The food is 100% gourmet and deserves 5 stars. The trip is well worth it, even if it's a bit complicated.

21/06/2026: I was so looking forward to this restaurant after reading the rave reviews but ended up disappointed. We had tagliatelle with a lamb ragu to start which was average ok. For main course we had fillet steak which we requested medium but it was dry & overcooked. We spent the whole evening trying to keep flies off of our food but I suppose if you sit in the garden you are going to get insects. The only plus I can add was a nice Valpolicela at only 8 euros a glass. In conclusion, I don't think the people giving the rave reviews are very well travelled.

15/06/2026: We had a table outside in a very pretty, narrow alley. The food was excellent, the service very friendly and attentive, the prices absolutely reasonable; in short, we immediately reserved another table.

03/06/2026: We visited Sans Souci for a private event, a wedding welcome dinner, and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating area is lovely and has a very authentic Italian atmosphere with beautiful views of Lake Garda. The indoor dining area is just as impressive, with gorgeous Italian décor and a warm, inviting feel. The food served for the event was excellent. We enjoyed a variety of pizza and desserts, and everything was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff did a great job keeping the event running smoothly. They also have a bar inside, which was a nice addition. Since we attended a private event, I can't really speak to the regular menu, pricing, or day-to-day restaurant service. However, based on our experience, I would absolutely return and would happily dine here if given the opportunity.

07/11/2025: So much stuff...to put it in Brescian terms, so to speak! Well done! Well done to Monia, the coordinator for the outside service, the food was delicious, and the icing on the cake? The little doughnut with apricot jam was absolutely amazing!! Is it worth it? Of course! The chef is attentive to marrying the various flavors in the dishes. I chose the "Benaco" tasting menu and was very, very satisfied at the end! Thank you for your labor of love!

30/04/2026: Having not found what we were looking for in some of the local restaurants, we decided to try this one based on the reviews. What a pleasant surprise! Unbeatable value for money, gigantic and delicious pizzas (cooked in a wood-fired oven, of course), equally good pasta, and simple but very friendly service. We were also surprised to hear the owner speaking French. Highly recommended for a great family meal if you're not looking for a romantic dinner...

21/07/2026: Wimmer Restaurant has outdoor tables, some covered by glass. The ambiance is great. It's right at the end of the promenade with a view of the water. As a hotel guest from the neighboring hotel, I ate there as part of my half-board package. The food was okay, although there were no vegetables with the meat. The appetizers were large. The service was good, but one thing was very unpleasant: as a hotel guest, you receive a handwritten order slip (which is fine), but it's a crumpled piece of paper. Even though I only pay for drinks directly and the hotel pays for the meal, this is unfortunately not service-oriented and reflects poor restaurant culture. The other guests give you very strange looks. You feel like a second-class guest. It would be appropriate to provide a small booklet or at least a menu card, informing you that only the items listed on the slip of paper are available. That would be acceptable. Drink prices are normal.

15/07/2026: We went there for lunch and again the following evening. Everyone was very accommodating, and they were happy to accommodate special requests. Highly recommended!

19/07/2026: I highly recommend this for a late-night snack! It's a basic fried seafood set priced by weight, so you can ask them to add more of whatever you want, and it's really delicious. They also provide salt separately, which makes it even better.
