12/04/2026: We went to this restaurant to celebrate our friend's bachelorette party and were absolutely thrilled! There were 10 of us and we had a wonderful time: the food was top-notch, with attention to detail and truly delicious. A special thanks to the extremely kind and knowledgeable staff, who made us feel welcomed and pampered throughout the evening. The waitresses, super nice and helpful, helped make the atmosphere even more pleasant. We also really appreciated the personalized menu they prepared for us for the occasion: a special touch that made the evening even more unique and unforgettable. 13/04/2026: We went yesterday for lunch. Welcoming staff, very nice dining room and dishes? Congratulations! We had two first courses. What can I say...even the eye wants its part...the dishes are very well prepared, the pasta very good (made by a pasta factory). They also offered us a vegetarian meatball and a homemade focaccia for an entree...my compliments. With the coffee (we really liked their cups) they also brought us some cookies. What can I say? We'll be back. We highly recommend it! The staff is attentive and professional. We complimented the owner, who is a pleasure to talk to. Congratulations to the chefs and all the staff! We'll see you again as soon as we can. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

30/03/2026: Even though the entrance is unassuming and the prices aren't for the budget-conscious, our expectations for lunch were more than met. The Osteria's website gives a good indication of what to expect. Even as a (bicycle) tourist, you're greeted warmly upon arrival and shown to your table. In addition to the clear yet varied menu, available in three languages, there are also unobtrusive recommendations from the kitchen. Each of the delicious and beautifully presented dishes is explained in detail as it's served. The wait between courses is reasonable, given the fresh preparation. If you don't want to eat quickly in the tourist bustle on the lakefront, but rather enjoy a leisurely and delicious meal, you'll be exceptionally well served at Osteria Di Mezzo. We'll gladly return when we're in the area again.

22/04/2026: We booked our room on the hotel website because it was cheaper than through an aggregator. When we got there, we were warmly received. The hotel has fairly recent renovations so it's very nice. Comfortable rooms and bed, daily service. Breakfasts in the morning should have enough for people with food intolerances like gluten or lactose. Location is excellent, close to everything without being in the noisy part of the city. Given how difficult it can be to find a place to park, I recommend taking the optional parking from the hotel. So I highly recommend this place for a good quality for value place and I really want to stress out how welcoming and attentionate every member of the staff was.

06/04/2026: We were returning from the Dolomites and stopped in Salò for lunch. We wanted to get away from the more touristy spots along the lakefront. It was a beautiful day, and we had a wonderful time on the terrace. We had the seafood pasta and the risotto, and everything was delicious. The service was spectacular, and the terrace was lovely. I would recommend it 100%.

21/02/2026: We stumbled upon this splendid restaurant by chance, slightly tucked away from the main street. We were immediately captivated by the aroma wafting from the alleyway. A welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. The small number of tables is a testament to the attention to detail and customer service. The food was delicious; we tried the trio of first courses, with sophisticated, original, and well-balanced combinations. The real highlight was the dessert that truly impressed us: exceptional tiramisu and semifreddo. We highly recommend stopping by; you won't regret it; we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

12/04/2026: A lovely place with a lake view and garden tables shaded by olive trees. We usually stop in for breakfast in the morning and pay at the counter before leaving. Last night, four of us stopped for an aperitif and then for seconds. Both times, we were asked to pay upon delivery, no problem... we paid, but both times we weren't given a proper receipt, just a delivery receipt with no tax value. The second time, I pointed this out to the waitress, politely asking her to send me the receipts; she replied, "Of course," and disappeared. Since I was with friends, I avoided arguing and going to the cashier, but this behavior is legitimate, and I deserve a review.

With a well-established reputation for excellent charcuterie and cheeses, they also serve traditional hot dishes. The place is a bit "cheap" in the back, with mismatched furniture, but it makes you feel like you're at a friend's place who throws parties in their trendy garage (great poster on the wall)... the restrooms are clean. But it's the owners who make all the difference, with their warm welcome, kindness, and expertise. Charcuterie is a family tradition, and they know everything about local cheeses. Try an aged Bagos while listening to what the owner tells you about it... a very, very pleasant surprise!
