31/03/2024: Great technique and intuition in the kitchen. The Lago menu is imaginative, well executed and very tasty, which beautifully reinterprets the Isean dishes and raw materials. The lake soup is particularly good and the salted char is absolutely superb. Personal opinion, I didn't appreciate the lake sardines: they move too far from the concept of "flavour" that I combine with the sardines from Lake Iseo; furthermore, the combination with the almond was almost like a "dessert" and the cooking of the sardine made it almost steamed. The citrus babà is fresh, joyful and balanced. The bread, focaccia and breadsticks are excellent. Attentive and discreet service. The wines are good.

10/03/2024: As soon as we arrived at the Aquarium restaurant, we realized that it would be the location where we wanted to get married - beautiful spaces both inside and out, suitable for any eventuality. The restaurant is family-run: Ottavio, Massimo and all the staff were welcoming and kind from the moment we met them. They helped us every step of the way - you don't need a wedding planner with them! Even on the wedding day, when we had to improvise changes because it rained, they assisted us with every request to make our plans come true (including having the bride arrive by boat!). The food was delicious (so good that we did the meal trial twice) and suitable for any food allergy. All the guests were left speechless by the cake which was as spectacular as it was delicious. Regarding accommodation, there are many rooms available overlooking the lake above the restaurant and even a small campsite with brand new mobile homes for guests, with a stunning lake view. Finally, the price was decidedly honest, we had the entire location for the whole day and all the services offered were worth the price paid. It was an unforgettable day, but also the entire journey to organize it. We can never thank the Aquarium hotel enough for all the support they have given us, the attention and passion they have put into every detail to make our dreams come true. They will remain forever in our hearts. Thank you!!!

30/03/2024: We had lunch, it's a shame we were just passing through. Very friendly staff, great food and great location. From the hill you can enjoy a spectacular view of Lake Iseo. We will definitely be back

24/03/2024: There are places that immediately strike me. Which capture me and transport me into their identity. Places imbued with love and passion; where there is a clear philosophy that extends into every aspect. This is what I found in the reality I just discovered. When I arrived, I found myself in a place full of greenery, surrounded by olive trees, cuddled by horses and sheep, directly above Lake Iseo and with an incredible view. The building and the furnishings speak of history, of the work of the past, of life; all giving warmth and making the guest feel at ease. The staff is attentive, helpful, prepared. The wine list is a tribute to the territory, offering both niche choices and the most well-known wines. And what about the menu? Courses studied, genuine, abundant, of excellent quality and also elegant. Genuine dishes, with great attention to the territory and respect for the raw materials. All with a touch of elegance. “La tesa”, in my humble opinion, respects the identity of the farmhouse, offering an attentive, elegant and competent service… all in a refined and relaxing location. After lunch I asked if I could take a walk around their land where I could admire the lake, walk among their olive trees and cuddle horses and sheep. In short... I believe I have discovered a genuine, delicate and valuable reality. A place that made me emotional and, believe me, there are few places that strike me so much and that I believe are worth the journey and the time to experience them. I would already like to go back with a good book, lie down on the deckchair admiring the lake and sipping a glass of wine... waiting for lunch.

16/03/2024: Enjoying... Ice cream. It's my first this year. I tasted the chocolate and pistachio, both excellent. The next time I'm in Iseo, I will return to enjoy other flavours.

29/03/2024: I didn't even manage to eat (I've miraculously managed on other occasions, and the rating on the food refers to that) 3 of them managed to welcome me, with 2 tables occupied throughout the entire place, at 7.30pm... and they weren't able to made me 4 takeaway pizzas, having also tried calling for half an hour and it was always busy (or no one answered, like the service that would be waiting for me shortly thereafter) Called another place who had already done everything for me in 5 minutes, with the place full. Evidently Sandro doesn't need to work that much. It will remain as second, or rather third choice, for the future.

14/03/2024: I ate an amazing pizza, both in terms of dough, leavening and choice of ingredients, the menu offers gourmet pizzas. I am satisfied with the choice and the place. The staff were exquisitely kind and polite, patient (we stayed there longer than we should have). As an appetizer they served us delicious fried fish and focaccia accompanied by raw meat. Not very familiar with alcohol but the wine ordered was good and fresh at the right point. And an excellent, truly delicious liquorice-based dessert. Recommended place

28/03/2024: Splendid trattoria. Very kind and witty waiters, they make you feel at home. Not everyone can cook lake fish, they do it very well. Good starters , in my opinion, the best pike salad. The first ones are good. For the second course I took char with puree, delicious. Vast wine list. Delicious desserts including ice creams that accompany them and the local passito that we tasted. Fair price. Good parking. What more can I say? Go there and see for yourself.

17/01/2024: Per questa recensione io e i miei compagni prendiamo in considerazione 4 fattori irrevocabili e impegnativi per chi possiede un ristorante: Servizio: molto attenti al timer, ho notato soprattutto una notevole simpatia sul personale. Cibo: possiamo notare che le dimensioni sono ben sviluppate, consiglio il panozzo kebab + patatine di 25 cm di raggio per ben 2.5 kg di puro kebab. Location: posizione ottimale, vista a fondo strada tipicamente di Iseo, il posto al suo interno è caldo e accogliente, riscaldato dal sorrisino della proprietaria del posto. Bagno: devo portare i complimenti all'architetto di questa toilet unica e categorica e necessaria dopo aver mangiato questo menù. Infine voglio sottolineare la vastità del menù che può accogliere persone provenienti dalle Alpi all'oceano Indiano. Questi sono i posti che ci rendono fieri della nostra nazione.🖤

05/02/2024: Really good pizza to eat at a reasonable price. Possibility to park for free nearby. It is mainly a takeaway pizzeria but you can also stop and eat at the tables there. Very kind and always friendly staff

06/03/2024: I have to review my review from some time ago." The location is always very nice, especially in summer, the service is always friendly and fast, but this time something went wrong. Out of 12 relatives, half of us were a little sick afterwards... I don't want to be harsh on the owner but he should say when ordering what's fresh (fish) to avoid incurring gastro intestinal risks.

02/04/2024: A Neapolitan-style pizza dinner with a high edge. I didn't like the fact that according to their philosophy you can remove some ingredients but not do anything else (I had only asked to exchange the type of cheese), but good pizza. I only gave 2 stars for the service because we requested 3 sorbets but the three corresponding liqueurs arrived, when they understood and corrected the mistake they took the liqueurs away and left the sorbets (I hope they didn't throw away the liqueurs, it would have been nice to have them offered given the mix-up and the wait...) furthermore they made a mistake in the wording of the bill.
