18/03/2024: We stopped by more out of curiosity than hunger. We were visiting wineries in Franciacorta and passing by, knowing the fame gained in the "four restaurants" program, we decided to stop. The place is very nice, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The explanation of the dishes is already a journey in itself. The dishes really are. When we say eating with our eyes: the "Buffetti" are presented with harmony and elegance. The flavors of the dishes are balanced and tasty. I will be back this time for a full dinner and not just for a small taste.

15/03/2024: Intrigued by the well-known television program in which he was the protagonist, I had lunch in this place. From the moment of booking, the service was professional and friendly at the same time. The environment is well looked after, quite quiet, welcoming, perhaps not very bright. Food is a sensorial overview of tastes, combinations, textures and ideas. The price perfectly suited to the offer. I would like to go back tomorrow.

Il menù è contenuto (cosa che a mio parere ha un valore positivo perché garantisce freschezza) e attento a tutti i palati: si mangia molto bene sia la carne che il pesce. 07/04/2024: We went last night to celebrate my birthday. I must say that our expectations were met with a positive response. Local surrounded by greenery bordering the grounds of one of the most prestigious wineries in Franciacorta. The furnishings are stylish and well cared for, the staff are attentive and very courteous. We enjoyed pizzas made with excellent quality raw materials, in particular the very tasty "sun on the plate". The bill is proportionate to what was offered. What can I say, an experience definitely worth repeating. Strongly recommended to plan and book early.

02/04/2024: Nice setting in the heart of Franciacorta, but as regards the food I expected much better. Let's start by saying that while we were waiting for them to take us to our table, I noticed the presence of an "extra menu" showing three appetizers. But then, when the waiter brought us the paper with the pizzas, this extra menu did not arrive. Since I absolutely wanted to try the Ciro (those who have been to Pepe in Grani will understand me), I asked the waiter to provide it for us. After about five minutes, the waiter not only didn't bring us the appetizer menu, but also asked us if we were ready to order. After expressing the request to him again, he finally satisfied us. But why not bring it automatically with the menu? This will remain a mystery. After this first bizarre mix-up, let's get into the merits of the issue. Let me start by saying that the pizza dough was quite good, but the seasoning was absolutely not up to par. And honestly, with the prices they have, you can't be satisfied with decency. The wrong margherita had lumpy mozzarella, as if it had curdled after cooking. It's a shame that the sensation was such already at the first bite, and not after a while, when perhaps I could have justified this by the fact that the pizza had cooled in the meantime. On the other hand, on the mari e monti maritati there was definitely TOO MUCH anchovy oil, it was dripping! It was a totally exaggerated quantity. This means not having been able to dose it correctly, and it is serious. The ingredients were certainly of good quality, but this is not enough to bring the final product up to that of the master Franco Pepe. Even more so - I repeat - considering the prices that are truly beyond any grace. A wrong margherita €18 and the mari e monti €22.. in short, you pay almost double for them and they are not even remotely close to the originals. A real shame and a sad disappointment.

30/03/2024: Now loyal to Saturday evening at Old Wild West at the Porte Franche! Our children ask for nothing else, they feel at home thanks to the very friendly staff and the super Davide who pampers them. Everyone was kind and helpful, the place was clean and the food was excellent.

29/03/2024: The Texan food is okay, the Mexican food unfortunately only has visual similarities to the original, the ingredients and spices are completely different.
