02/06/2026: This is a beautiful family owned restaurant. The atmosphere is conducive to a mountain lifestyle. The interior has wood decor and it is very warm. It is exactly the place you want to go after an enduring ski session. The steam emitting from the soup my friend had seemed soothing for the soul. The food is prepared in a traditional manner. The quality of service was astonishing, and the young man made sure we have everything we need. Such a well run place and deserves all the praise in the world. Thank you!

03/05/2026: Great menu, we always come back because the pizza is excellent and so are the dishes. Very friendly staff, fast service. Dogs are welcome, the setting is traditional and the location is excellent!

04/05/2026: A little outside the center of Ponte di Legno, but the restaurant's interior, food, and service are worth the walk. Prices are a little above average, but fair for what they offer. We'll be back.

03/05/2026: The menu was pretentious and expensive given the average results, but the desserts were good. The service was a disgrace; a restaurant that prides itself on quality and prestige doesn't bring the bill to your table and instead invites you to get up and clear the table for a second serving!!! It's as if I were at a pizzeria.

13/07/2026: We had lunch today at the Malga Valbiolo restaurant on the way back from the Contrabbandieri pass. The polenta and cheese gnocchi with chopped walnuts were delicious, not to mention the venison polenta and mushroom dish, which was equally fantastic. The portions were generous and the service was very friendly. We'll be back.

09/07/2026: Bring your own food: the POS doesn't work at lunchtime, the prices are exorbitant, if they run out of sandwiches they won't even make them upon request, and the service... Let's forget it. Luckily, the view makes up for it.

28/01/2026: Historic hotel in a central location close to the slopes, with a family atmosphere. Rooms are a little dated, but everything is very clean. The hotel's cuisine is truly delicious, as is the breakfast. The wellness area is very pleasant after skiing. This hotel offers a 20% discount on the ski pass.

07/07/2026: Excellent local restaurant. A great place to share with friends on a hike. Appetizers: cured meats and cheeses, polenta and Zola wine, fillet steak and venison with polenta. Everything was delicious and plentiful.

05/07/2026: Wonderful! The best and most memorable accommodation of our Transalp tour. We received a warm welcome with a complimentary cheese and ham platter; the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. We were even treated to an espresso and a farewell photo. Thank you so much!

19/05/2026: Good food at a reasonable price, usually large portions, menus in English, short wait times, and so-so desserts. We recommend the tagliatelle and pizza, as well as the house wine.

19/04/2026: Nice place, pretty good food. The smoked rack with sauerkraut is not recommended; it's too dry and the meat lacks flavor. I also didn't like the berry tart with cream; there was a lot of gelatin on top that didn't add any texture or flavor. The staff, however, was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. 07/07/2026: I ate at this restaurant with my family, a typical mountain setting in the heart of Cané. We ate really well, the dishes were carefully prepared, the food was very high quality, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be back!!

27/03/2026: Our regular spot for a break from our 6-hour snowboarding spree (last week of February 2026)... fast service, great coffee, salamella, oven-baked pizza, ragu, tiramisu and finger-licking good apel strudel... all at a good price, with stunning views all around :) what more could you want? ;)

10/04/2026: I often come to La Baracca for dinner and discovered the dinner service this year. The restaurant's new dining room is something special in the evening, with a view of the illuminated slopes. I'm gluten-intolerant and have always found the menu to be wide-ranging, even during the day. Well done! Everything was delicious, and the waiters were excellent.
