Excellent Restaurant Meets Beautiful Hotel This hotel was a lifesaver on my motorcycle trip to Tuscany. We had booked our first stay at a different hotel through Booking.com. But when we arrived at 7:30 p.m., there was no one there – a very unpleasant situation. I searched for alternatives using Google Maps and called four hotels – all were fully booked. On my fifth call, to Hotel Castello, a friendly voice answered: "Yes, we still have a room for you." I was delighted – I took it immediately. I arrived around 9:00 p.m., so relatively late. The restaurant was very busy. The pool area between the two buildings – one housing the restaurant, the other additional hotel rooms – was beautifully lit and, although it was only April, already open. The friendly voice from the phone then personally greeted me at reception. She immediately recognized that a quick check-in was needed – and that's exactly how it was done: friendly, quick, and efficient. Small hotel with a restaurant, well and quietly located, pleasant stay and good food. Highly recommended!

We stayed one night and had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was incredibly generous. We had a minimal double room with a French bed, which was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. The location and view of the castle were beautiful, and there's also on-site parking.

The room was clean except for the blankets which had stains. The shower with the bathtub was not very comfortable. Breakfast is in the restaurant and you have to go outside which is not very convenient in the winter. Ample parking with covered spaces.

Augusto is an amazing host. He really runs this place with love and hospitality knowledge, but his heart really makes the difference. All you need, ramp for luggage, nice clean bright rooms, nice details, great food, amazing host, cool prices, free parking, huge place, nice view, comfy beds, quiet, and amazing rest is what we got. You will not mistake with them!

The hotel is located in the center of Pozzolengo. Attached to the hotel is the La Muraglia restaurant, where breakfast and dinner are served. Very quiet location. Parking at the restaurant is also available free of charge to hotel guests. The rooms are very small (10.6 m²) with tiled floors and very simply furnished. They contain a wardrobe, a small desk with a telephone, a safe, and a small TV (only Italian channels). There is only one chair. The second person can only sit on the bed. The lighting in the room is extremely poor. The food was very good. Breakfast was a varied buffet. In the evening, there was a three-course set menu with choices. The service was very good!
