The first thing to mention is the excellent service. Good food and average prices.

The menu is limited, and overall everything is good. Prices are perhaps a bit high for the portions. The waiter was a bit long-winded in explaining the wines, a bit pushy in suggesting a particular bottle without even being able to see the wine list (so we didn't even know the prices), and also took a long time to serve. There's definitely potential, but there's room for improvement!

A few words about the restaurant; perhaps this will help clarify the somewhat confusing comments here. We were there today, and here's my conclusion after dinner and a chat with the owners: The Cacciatore restaurant, known from, for example, the Osterie d'Italia guide, is located 100 meters further up the hill and is indeed closed—too old, and probably too large. The owners are currently reinventing themselves at the address listed here. Initially as '2.zero'. Lovely terrace, evening sun. Lounge music. Small menu, not particularly exciting culinarily, but solid. Very friendly service; I found the unsolicited wine recommendations a bit excessive. An expansion is planned soon, upstairs, with a larger menu again in the Cacciatore style; the recipes are currently being tested. We had a pleasant evening and wish them much success for the future!

A restaurant that offers good food with excellent service, young and very courteous. It's a little inconvenient to get to, but there is internal parking.

The trattoria has changed its name; it's now called Zero and is located a little further down the same street. Excellent atmosphere, very good, and high-quality food. A special mention also goes to Hector, the sommelier; his recommendations were excellent and perfectly suited to the food we ordered. On top of that, we were lucky enough to catch a live band called Whitestrings playing in the area. Everything was fantastic!

Trattoria Cacciatore is now called 2.Zero, as this is their second attempt after moving down the hill from their original spot. From the road, it is not very clear it's open, so walk around to the back. Once there, it is a lovely place. Very friendly and attentive service, excellent atmosphere, and the food was prompt and delicious. The grilled lake fish was yummy, as was the grilled chicken. The casonelli with brown butter was heavenly. You won't be sad you found this place.
