08/07/2025: IN SHORT... DISAPPOINTING! We stayed at this hotel last weekend, unfortunately with unfavorable weather that didn't help matters in itself, but we never expected such a disappointing experience in so many ways. The welcome upon arrival was anything but warm: no help with luggage, no attention. As soon as we stepped through the door, we were asked to pay for our stay (absurd) and provide a credit card for any extras. No introduction to the hotel, no attention, just cold formalities. In similarly sized hotels, especially on Lake Garda, one expects much more. The "economy" room was modest in size but the bed was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was decidedly dated: damaged tiles, old furnishings, and poorly maintained. Furthermore, after the first night, when we returned from the pool around 1:00 PM, we found the room still unmade. We had to wash and dry ourselves with the previous day's wet towels, without any communication or apology from the staff. The spa was a real disappointment: the indoor pool was cold—they say it was 30 degrees Celsius, maybe 26... the whirlpools didn't work, the loungers were worn and dirty, and the walls were peeling. The controls for the whirlpools were rusty. There was no staff in the wellness area to ask for directions or assistance. The only things that worked were the sauna and Turkish bath. The whole thing gave off a general feeling of neglect and disinterest. The outdoor garden was also in terrible condition: dead leaves everywhere, and what was perhaps once a fountain or a water feature was now a pool of stagnant, smelly water. Balconies and doorframes were mostly worn and peeling. The outdoor pool was beautiful, fortunately warmer, but poorly supervised. The lifeguards were only seen in passing, never at their posts. In an emergency, they would have been difficult to find. The food was not bad, but definitely not up to expectations. Some dishes were good, but the service was distant and impersonal. For a birthday celebration, the restaurant was nearly deserted, the atmosphere cold, and the staff were unresponsive. The dessert arrived in a glass resembling a spent candle with one unlit candle, and the waiter, visibly annoyed, simply said "happy birthday" before leaving. No thought, no gesture to make us feel welcome. In that moment, I truly sensed the coldness and lack of care throughout the establishment. The sweet and savory breakfast was well-stocked and of good quality: excellent single-serving jams in glass jars, fresh fruit, assorted yogurts, and homemade desserts. However, some items like pancakes or waffles were considered "extra" and charged separately, which was quite unusual for a hotel of this caliber. The real paradox? Only on the last day, by pure chance, did we discover that the hotel has a beautiful private beach on the lake: an enchanting spot that no one had ever told us about. We also accidentally discovered the existence of the (well-equipped) gym and the "Cielo" terrace, locked and without loungers. Three potentially valuable amenities… completely ignored. No mention, no information from the staff. You feel your way around, and everything you discover is thanks to your own curiosity, not the hospitality. In short, what was supposed to be a relaxing stay has turned into a somewhat frustrating experience: dull, cold, and neglected. The constant impression is of a facility with enormous potential, yet oversized and therefore difficult to maintain and abandoned. No one guides you, no one takes care of you. The guest is left alone, in a setting that fails to offer either the service or the warmth they expect.

07/09/2025: I spent a night in a hostel with my mom. The price was really reasonable. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was also very nice. Breakfast was included, and we had a delicious croissant, cake, cappuccino, and fruit juice! Thank you so much 🙏🏼

31/05/2025: The place is very nice, welcoming and well decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience was partly ruined by the behavior of one waiter. He was intrusive, unprofessional and, at a certain point, allowed himself to make inappropriate jokes towards us. The situation worsened when he turned to another table to audibly tease us. This attitude made us seriously uncomfortable and made us feel mocked in a context where we expected respect and courtesy. We understand the desire to create an informal and friendly atmosphere, but there are limits that should never be exceeded, especially in respect of customers. We hope that this is an isolated episode and that situations like this will not be repeated in the future, because the restaurant certainly has potential and deserves attention for the quality of the food and the environment.

29/05/2025: I FOUND A DEAD BUGS NEXT TO THE SUSHI ON MY PLATE, embarrassing. They didn't even offer me lunch.

13/08/2025: I discovered it by chance...and I'm absolutely thrilled. If you're interested in patisserie and pastries, this is the place for you. It's not the most comfortable place to sit, but everything can be taken away or eaten on bar stools. Highly recommended.

25/06/2025: Very friendly hosts! You sit and eat right on the small harbor of Gargnano. It's cozy, and you receive a warm welcome. A great small menu and excellent wine selection. Highly recommended for a lunch stop by boat. Free moorings are 100 meters away. Highly recommended.

24/08/2025: We entered with enthusiasm and the intention of having a business lunch, as it had been recommended to us. Unfortunately, they told us they don't do it, so we opted for the menu on the menu. But what was our surprise? Four people arrived at the table next to us and were offered a business lunch menu. When we stood up, we saw that a few others had been served the same service. When paying at the register, we mentioned this to the owner, who replied that he only does it for regular customers. I wonder if this behavior is correct? We definitely won't go there again!
