01/06/2025: One of the best bakeries in the area. Perfect breakfast with really well-made brioches. Also interesting is the presence of limited edition options for those who want to always try new breakfasts.

19/06/2025: An unfriendly welcome, and of course, no table available for lunch even though the restaurant was empty. After the receptionist carefully inspected the young people—who didn't speak Italian and therefore didn't fit in with the restaurant's average age group—we were rudely dismissed. Being posh but not cool enough to serve a young clientele doesn't reflect well on the restaurant. Next door is a small delicatessen/restaurant that's incredibly delicious, and the service is also friendly.

17/06/2025: We were here a few years ago and were thrilled by the quality and taste of the food. We knew we'd definitely come back if we were in the area. Today was the day, and in retrospect, we're very disappointed. The char tartare was almost unseasoned and therefore nothing special. The corn gnocchi came with a tomato sauce that the chef probably made just like that, and the grilled fish also came plain – unsalted, without any refinement. The poelenta, which last time left a lasting impression as wonderfully creamy and melting, was this time a compact loaf served on a separate plate. Either we made a mistake in our choice of dishes (and wine) today, or it was actually more delicious back then. We're happy to pay a few euros more for good food, but today it wasn't worth it. Such a shame!

25/05/2025: Ordered takeaway because recommended by friends who tried it a couple of weeks ago: I thanked them because the rosti arrived hot (delivery was made to Manerba) and disappeared in a flash, because they were delicious! I will definitely go to the restaurant to try the breakfasts and aperitifs, top quality at home is not so obvious! If you have the chance, try it! It's so worth it!

21/05/2025: A very interesting Restaurant-Trattoria, exquisite dishes prepared with skill, kindness and competence are the side dishes, I recommend the mushroom-based menus, a rarity here in Brescia. I surprised my wife and came to have lunch and to my surprise I noticed that the "Il Nuovo Inizio" restaurant had a new menu which, reading the new proposals, I would define as "INTRIGANT"

11/05/2025: Good venue. Usually open from morning to evening, this ensures that it juggles well between bars and pubs. Respect the covid directives. Prices average with some exceptions, however well stocked. The place where it is located is a little sad, but still comfortable and accessible. There is no ramp for disabled people, but there are outside tables. The clientele is local, young people and adults with karaoke in the evening for example, so certainly not the hottest place in the area.
