The place is poorly maintained. Too touristy. The octopus was tough and the purple mashed potatoes that accompanied it were too dry. The pumpkin pie was dry. The truffle was lacking in flavor and nonexistent. The risotto with Amarone was decent, but it tasted like it was made with red wine. Honestly, I wouldn't return. And I wouldn't recommend it.

We stopped here for lunch and dinner several times during our visit in Desenzano, every time food was delicious and servers were very attentive and friendly. Everything we tried here was cooked perfectly, the pizza, ribolita soup, clams and muscles in wine sauce, and veal liver with polenta were all excellent.

01/06/2026: We had an appetizer to share and two meat-based main courses, one with truffle. The main courses were very good, and the truffle was flavorful and plentiful. The service was inattentive and disorganized. The bill was reasonable for the quality of the meal.
03/05/2026: Good food, a quaint atmosphere, and friendly staff. The only downside is the slightly high prices, especially the €4 cover charge per person. Not a great selection of gluten-free options, but the owner is attentive, and they do have a few gluten-free dishes.
