23/03/2025: Occasion Lunch during a business trip Location Nice room, large and well lit. Housed inside an old school building. Clean room and bathrooms. Food Starters of cured meats, cheeses and various appetizers very good. I had rabbit as a second course and it was cooked well and very tasty. All the colleagues who chose different dishes were also satisfied. Service Normal and polite. Price 28 euros each for a starter, a main course and coffee. For what I ate I would say excellent value for money Excellent for quick lunches during working days

03/11/2024: Speck Stube al Castel, beautiful place, very cozy and delicate. The staff is very attentive at all times. They gave us a cake to celebrate my birthday. Delicious dishes with a wide variety of fresh and quality ingredients. The Lasagne Bolognese is spectacular.!!!! Highly recommended to know and visit. They made us feel at home.

01/03/2025: A little gem in lower Bresciana. The restaurant is capable of satisfying every request, from an informal family dinner to a business meeting. The dishes are made with simple and well cooked products. Attention: simplicity does not mean banality, but respect for ancient flavors, handed down from generation to generation. The raw materials are excellent. The Pumpkin Pie will make you dream. In the dining room, Eva will be able to guide you in choosing wines and beers for an even more pleasant experience. The smile of the staff conveys to customers the true passion for this work. A piece of advice; on weekends it's better to call before showing up (if you're coming from afar) because like all places that work with love, the tables are likely to be occupied.

11/03/2025: Siamo andati su consiglio di colleghi della zona, è fuori dal centro e devi proprio cercarlo per trovarlo, il locale si vede che è curato, i piatti anche, ed il personale è gentile. Si sono molto prodigati con mio figlio di 4 anni per fare trovare torta con scritta “buon compleanno” a mio marito. Il cibo era buono, piatti curati, vale la pena l’antipasto misto di pesce, davvero buono, mentre l’antipasto di polentine niente di che e soprattutto molto caro per il piatto che è. Primi di pesce molto buoni e dolci anche. Prezzo leggermente alto considerando la posizione. Nel complesso ci sta, è stato un pranzo piacevole e soprattutto abbiamo schivato le “trappole da turisti!”

10/03/2025: Che bel posto,che intima,cortese e ovattata atmosfera!Salette dove il tempo sembra che si sia fermato.Abbiamo cenato accompagnati da una musica leggera che pareva accompagnare con grazia ogni portata.Ci tornerò sicuramente ma voglio evidenziare dei particolari al fine di migliorare e valorizzare le pietanze. Le ottime polentine con ragù,gorgonzola e funghi vanno servite calde e non appena tiepide.Purtroppo hanno perso molto delle loro potenzialità. Il filetto di maiale ,forse riscaldato al microonde ,era secco e un po' duro.Peccato! Comunque,gli antipastini di mare ottimi così come gli gnocchi al radicchio e il pesce di lago su polentina. Ottimo anche il bianco della casa. Per piacere,correggete il tiro su quanto evidenziato, soprattutto sul filetto di maiale, perché ,nel complesso, abbiamo mangiato bene e le ricette della tradizione ,così sapientemente rivisitate,non possono essere penalizzate dalla mancanza di semplci ed elementari accorgimenti.

19/01/2025: We had a wonderful evening. The restaurant is nice, the dishes were all very good, and the table was spacious. Our waiter was simply the best (unfortunately I don't remember his name, if I'm not mistaken Gianni) and kept us smiling throughout the dinner

22/02/2025: If you are in Salò, in addition to visiting this enchanting location, there is an obligatory stop to make! The Floriana restaurant. The restaurant is family-run, the chefs Paola and Luca, mother and son, offer an excellent menu that combines tradition and modernity with typical dishes revisited with dishes in great style, while in the dining room we find Stefano and Margherita who with their professionalism and kindness will make you feel at ease. Absolutely try the beef in oil, a true delicacy! The homemade desserts and bread are also excellent. The cellar is very well stocked and with Stefano's help you will surely find the wine best suited to your taste and suited to what you eat. What more can I say...highly recommended!

26/01/2025: Elegante osteria che serve tanti piatti tipici della zona, piatti di pesce e pizze (deliziose alla vista). Noi ci siamo orientati più sulle pietanze tipiche e ci siamo trovati veramente bene: piatti abbondanti e gustosi! Consiglio il loro "cinghialetto"! Il servizio è attento e gentile. I prezzi sono in linea. Consiglio!

09/03/2025: I often come here for dinner, really excellent dishes. There is nothing on the menu that isn't good. The delicious and plentiful cold cuts platter, the casoncelli alla Bresciana are homemade, the salmì of hare is really excellent. The meat leaves you speechless, accompanied by excellent local wine. The side potatoes are absolutely worth trying. The place has the appearance of a typical trattoria from times gone by, very particular. Highly recommended for both intimate dinners and with friends!!

Excellent raw materials (as it should be) unfortunately however being in a room, all tables of couples with a table of 20 people, pizzeria style, with screaming children compromises my evaluation. Even more so for two reasons: the first is that it happens often (in my experience) and the second is that in both times it happened to me the entrance room was empty and the table could have been organized there very well

05/01/2025: I have been frequenting this bakery for years, when I go up to Ponte di Legno in the summer. It is an obligatory stop to enjoy truly delicious and fresh sweets and/or savories. The staff is really good and friendly. There is very convenient parking, a fresh water fountain and even practical toilets. The only flaw, there is no waste bin, there are only bins for use in the room (I presume).
