Pets are welcome. Friendly and courteous staff. Good parking. Also recommended for large groups. I've been to De Gustibus several times and always gladly return.

Stars aren't awarded here by a renowned guide, but by the dishes the chef is capable of preparing for you. Oysters like you've never eaten before, lobster that speaks to you when you eat it, a truly amazing entree... what can I say? The Brescia restaurant that few people know exists. Essenza isn't a discovery, but it's a place you can't miss, and if you go... you'll return again and again. Entrées: lobster, squid with an exhilarating filling, crispy octopus with tomato mousse, don't miss the oysters—one, two,... ten, twenty... please stop me because you'd eat at least twenty... and for dessert... zabaglione with a surprise to degrease. The most special place in Brescia, unique in its kindness and passion. For all those who understand and for the few who already know... Try, review, try again, review, and come back... Oh, and I forgot about Daniela in the dining room. With her professionalism, kindness, and passion, she knows how to make you feel unique and offer you an unforgettable evening. Seeing is believing. 07/08/2025: Honestly, for a hamburger and fries, a hamburger and fries platter, a medium beer, and two Cokes, €33 seems rather excessive. The air conditioning where my daughters and I sat was nonexistent (it was scorching hot). The wait was 50 minutes.

10/09/2025: I was at this restaurant for lunch today and unfortunately have to leave a negative review. I'll start by saying that I have nothing to say about the food: it was all good. What really disappointed me, however, was the service from the two waiters (a man and a woman). When I arrived, neither of them greeted me, and throughout the meal, their attitude was cold and very unwelcoming. They didn't bring me bread; I had to ask for the condiments for my vegetables (which all the other tables already had), and when I asked about the side dish buffet, the waiter simply pointed without explaining anything. Furthermore, at the end of the meal, no one bothered to ask if I wanted a coffee. Of course, when I left the room to go to the cashier, the waitress looked at me and didn't say hello. I understand that for me, being just passing through, this has little impact, but I think those who work in contact with the public should at least show politeness and helpfulness. If this isn't the case, perhaps it's better to choose another profession. I'm attaching a photo of the receipt to prove my attendance. 👉 This restaurant is not recommended.

15/08/2025: We've been customers here dozens of times, enjoying their takeout pizza, and we decided to celebrate our daughter's birthday there with her friends. Nothing to complain about: the pizza was delicious, the service was perfect and attentive, and the place was welcoming, with several air-conditioned rooms and outdoor spaces. The food was good, but above all, of high quality. Highly recommended.

09/10/2025: Arriving from the Anfo bike path, you'll immediately come across this place. Wanting to refuel before heading back, we stopped here. The atmosphere is modern and clean, and they also serve a lunchtime business menu. The staff are friendly and cheerful (both the owner and the young woman serving us apologized several times for the wait, due to the fairly busy schedule). All four of us opted for the daily menu: pasta with roast meat sauce, tasty and well-cooked, carne salada carpaccio and grilled, side dishes, two liters of water, half a liter of wine, and four coffees for a total of €68. The à la carte menu is reasonably priced. Recommended.

The burger was well-made, the ingredients were good, the service was informal and friendly, and the prices were fair for what I got. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine place without too many frills but still satisfying.

31/07/2025: Congratulations, guys! I'd been to this place three or four years ago for lunch with my boyfriend and some friends, but we didn't feel well-served. The waitress almost seemed annoyed by our presence. Yesterday, however, we had a really good time. The food was excellent, and the waiters and owner were very courteous. The square is also fantastic.

21/08/2025: There's not much to say about the atmosphere and experience, other than that it's a kind of snack bar that only serves pizzas, but the selection is HUGE! There's a more than complete alphabet of pizza names to choose from, and if you don't like a topping on a chosen pizza, you can replace it with another. The pizzas we had were delicious, fresh, with tasty toppings and a nice, flavorful thin crust. The pizzas are certainly not expensive, as are the cold drinks: the price-quality-quantity ratio is excellent! Very friendly staff, a skilled pizza maker with fast service. You can park your car for free on the street or in a larger parking lot nearby with a parking disc. Inside, there are a few tables to sit at, but there's also a small patio with several tables and umbrellas. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms for customers, so please keep that in mind.
