06/10/2025: Very nice and quiet cafe-restaurant; courteous and attentive staff; excellent coffee. Ample parking, right next to the building, both free and paid. Panoramic viewpoint and the Church and Guesthouse of San Michele, just beyond the P. A wonderful breakfast, truly relaxing!

19/02/2026: A very simple and slightly dated trattoria, surrounded by greenery in a quiet and relaxing location, but accessible via a somewhat inconvenient road. Simple home cooking, a decent value, and a menu largely centered on spit-roasted meat (which is delicious and well-prepared) but with few real alternatives. Good for a traditional lunch with friends or family in an informal setting. Simple and courteous service. Reservations are recommended.

03/11/2025: Rustic, mountain-style restaurant on Monte Magno above Gavardo. Delicious spit-roasted meats and traditional, yet flavorful, cuisine. Excellent value.

18/02/2026: Now, Pasta is always a guarantee. The staff is super friendly, attentive to detail, and, not surprisingly, always smiling. I really appreciate the "extra pasta" and "extra sauce" options for just €1, a smart choice that allows you to enjoy your dish without limits. Furthermore, the pasta is served with a small bread roll, perfect for mopping up the sauce, a simple but much appreciated detail. I go there often, especially for the variety of homemade pastas and sauces: I've always been satisfied.

07/02/2026: Pasta was very good and the people that worked there were also super sweet! Prices are affordable and very comfy place to eat.

13/03/2026: Excellent food, and for lunch, Monday to Friday, there's a two-course fish menu for €19, including water, wine, and coffee. In the evening, the food is also good, and the price is in line with the quality!

I booked practically 24 hours in advance... thank God there was room 😉 Good food, quick service, very good fried lake fish (although the red shrimp are strange because they don't have much to eat). 09/03/2026: Small but very cute and welcoming. Right in the city center, right across from the Santa Giulia Museum. Prices are reasonable. I just wish the semifreddo was a little larger. Anyway, it's excellent and I recommend it!

11/03/2026: In summer, the outdoor terrace offers a wide panoramic view of the hills and Lake Garda. The veranda offers the same view, while the interior overlooks the wood-fired oven. Gourmet pizza is also available. Fish dishes are also available, with fried seafood that's excellent and easy to digest. The staff is very attentive and knows how to meet guests' needs with professionalism and expertise. The same goes for the management, who are always attentive.

23/02/2026: In my opinion, the pizza is very good, and the staff is always friendly. It's a shame the parking lot isn't very large, so it's best to get there early.

13/03/2026: I booked the room about three weeks in advance. During the booking process (via email), a price had been agreed upon, which included the tourist tax. When I got to reception, the price changed; the tourist tax had been added, even though a different price had been agreed upon. When we arrived in the evening, around 10:00 PM, the celebrations began, with extremely loud music and a lot of noise. Around 11:00 PM, I called reception and the owner answered, assuring me that he would turn the music down and calm things down. Midnight came, and after about two hours of non-stop music, I went down to reception and spoke to the owner personally, explaining that this situation wasn't a good one. His only response was, "I'm sorry, I can't do anything about it. I can't tell guests to turn the music down, the party has to go on. If you want, I'll do you the favor of giving you your money back and staying the night." Finally, the music stopped at 1:00 AM...a terrible night, I don't recommend it. Excellent breakfast, room/restaurant management needs review. Arrogant and rude owner.

24/01/2026: To admire the lake, head to the pass. The starting point is the village of Monno, following the road signs. The trek begins by following the unpaved road, continuing along the trail, crossing the Roman bridge (also called Charlemagne's bridge, according to legend, because he built it), and entering the forest to reach the lake and the refuge of the same name. Upon arriving, you'll find Cima Varadega and Monte Pagano. The route is also suitable in winter (snowshoes) and for families. At the refuge, you can enjoy excellent traditional cuisine and relax in the hammocks. Travel time: approximately 2 hours Difficulty: E D+635m Alternatively, you can drive over the Mortirolo Pass, but you'll need to ask for a parking permit.

19/10/2025: My heart's refuge. Beautifully managed restaurant, food that's excellent is an understatement. A gem overlooking Lake Mortirolo. A spectacular experience in every way. Highly recommended.

10/01/2026: A good business lunch with generous portions and a wide selection. Friendly and fast staff. Just one note/suggestion about the vegetable buffet: it's too exposed to the passing and lingering of customers, not to mention the fact that everyone is taking from the same containers. It would be ideal if the vegetables were brought to the table like the other dishes, or at least "protected." Thank you.

08/03/2026: We went for a romantic dinner on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was elegant, the service professional and friendly, and there was no waiting time between courses. The dishes were exquisite and sophisticated, and you could see the chef's care and attention to detail in his creations. I loved the shrimp soup, truly amazing. The prices, in my opinion, were fair for this lake-view location.

08/03/2026: I'm not going to judge the atmosphere; it's nothing special, with lots of tables packed together with a view of the lake, four perfectly normal boats, a bridge with the river across it (because it's a river, the lake view is something else), a busy street, but the cook, given the prices, still has a lot to learn. A bad experience, I definitely won't be back again!!!
