17/10/2025: Impossible, rude and very fast management, to be forgotten

13/10/2025: Nothing special, appetizers and first courses cost €11, while the second courses cost €18. We ordered casoncelli and stracotto, but we won't remember them. We liked the entree soup. There was no menu, just the writing on the wall of the dishes. In fact, we got ripped off by asking for a glass of wine, and they brought us a 0.50 bottle of red for €16. We were disappointed. In the end, €50 for two for lunch in the middle of nowhere. In hindsight, I would have gone for lunch by the lake, at least I had the view. The bathroom door was broken. Dessert: I can't caramelize the crème brulee. "We make it soft," no, dear, so don't call it crème brulee or buy a blowtorch, I make it at home too. Coffee: nothing special.

14/09/2025: Whenever we're in the area, La Bussola is our go-to place (whether for lunch or dinner). Fast service, helpful and friendly waiters. All the dishes are excellent! The fish tastes like fish! Fabulous pizza! Their homemade desserts are also excellent! Great value for money 💯! For us, TOP!

10/09/2025: We went to visit a relative at Poliambulanza and on the way back we decided to stop for dinner at this restaurant and what can I say...a wonderful surprise!! The staff was very kind and knowledgeable and all the dishes were to our liking. The fish was incredibly fresh!!! We'll definitely be back because it's worth it!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

15/10/2025: What can I say? We'd never been to this famous restaurant, and I have to say, it's a shame we hadn't! The service was exceptionally courteous over the phone during the reservation process, and as soon as you arrive, you feel warmly welcomed by the maître d', a delightful person with a level of empathy that's hard to find these days. As for the food, there wasn't a single dish we didn't like. The raw fish appetizers were exceptional, as was the octopus with herbs, and the fresh pasta with zucchini and Mazara red prawns. When I learned it was my wife's birthday, they even offered a delicious cake with a candle and complimentary glasses of sparkling wine. What can I say? I'll definitely return and recommend it. See you soon.

10/05/2025: How can I review this place if not in the best way, from the location, located in a historic building in the heart of the city, very well looked after and tastefully furnished, the staff is attentive, very friendly and knowledgeable, ready to satisfy every request, the menu is rich, the quality of the food is at star level (my personal opinion) excellent meats, the prices are in line with everything else, after several dinners, I can only say that as far as I'm concerned it is the best restaurant in Brescia.

21/09/2025: Quite unassuming – we were a little skeptical about stopping here at first, as the outside didn't really impress us, but it was worth it! There's a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. There are also some very exotic varieties that are a bit more expensive, but it's worth it!

12/10/2025: It was wonderful. The Manzo all'olio con polenta was simply perfect and a must-try. The dessert was also amazing—the best cheesecake of my life, and I should have asked for the recipe...

09/10/2025: Encouraged by the resort where we were staying, we went to their restaurant on Monday evening. Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. From the start, the waiter was rude and rude. He graciously pointed us in the right direction. As soon as we got our menus, the waiter returned a minute later, expecting us to order immediately. We were with a two-year-old, and it's impossible to order something that quickly. As soon as we got to the "secondi piatti" menu, the waiter reappeared and rolled his eyes at us, ostentatiously indicating that we weren't ready yet. This put us in such a bad mood that it was impossible to sit and eat in such an atmosphere. This place is of a very low standard. The waiter needs service training. I don't understand how anyone can treat customers this way? Is it because we didn't speak Italian? Or maybe we weren't welcomed by the child? I don't recommend it, I advise against it, I warn you!!! Don't go to this cruel place.

16/10/2025: A warm and welcoming historic osteria in Rezzato. The food is always excellent, with minimal frills and plenty of substance. The meat is especially noteworthy: fillet, tagliata, and Florentine steak are top-notch! It's best to book, as the place is almost always sold out.

01/10/2025: Beautifully decorated. Very understated and cozy. Perfect for a romantic dinner. Very friendly staff. The aperitif was a surprise, with fresh olives and chips. The food is excellent. I ordered horse. The meat was cooked to perfection. The fried potatoes were cooked with the skin on, perfect. A real experience. The value for money is excellent. I will definitely stop by this exceptional place again.

10/10/2025: Extremely courteous, kind, and professional staff. Quick and fast service. The ingredients used for the toppings were quite good, or at least in the medium-high range of the market. The problem is the dough and the cooking. Two out of two pizzas both had a burnt side. I mean, charred and inedible. The dough was too bready. It didn't feel like a well-worked pizza dough, but rather like a rather dry bread. Furthermore, as soon as it cooled a little, the crust tended to stiffen and become really difficult to chew and enjoy. Too bad. Maybe it was just an off night. But I repeat, they were kind and professional.

The food is excellent both at lunch, with the business menu, and with the à la carte menu in the evening, with carefully prepared and tasty dishes that never disappoint. But what really makes the difference is the staff: always kind, smiling, and with a friendliness that makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is welcoming and the prices are really fair, which makes you appreciate the experience even more. A place I wholeheartedly recommend, because here you feel good in every way.”

14/09/2025: Discovered by chance for a business lunch. €14 was a truly well-spent meal with quality food and generous portions, especially the starters. The atmosphere is welcoming and rustic, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

16/10/2025: Lovely, spacious rooms in a beautiful old monastery on a quiet street in Brescia. A delicious, extensive breakfast in the courtyard. Bicycles are welcome inside.

15/09/2025: We were in room 268, which faces the street. We travel a lot, and it was the WORST room we've ever been in. The soundproofing is nonexistent!!! There's noise all night long, both from the street (with people talking, cars, and motorcycles) and from the hotel hallway itself, where other guests walk by. You can hear everything. You can't sleep all night! It was horrible! The furniture (chair, table, wardrobe) in the room is basic, unsuitable for a hotel; the bed is a hard board (it's huge, though) and the shower is excessively small, impossible for a large person to use. I imagine the rooms facing that street have the same noise problem, so if you can avoid it, don't choose those rooms; choose ones overlooking the interior garden. I read reviews from other guests of this same hotel, and it seems as if we've stayed in different hotels, which makes me even more outraged that they gave us that room. Avoid room 268. I will definitely NEVER return to this hotel.
