The "codegone," prepared in various variations, is truly mouth-watering. As for the main course, this fish cooked directly over the fire is a fitting conclusion. If they serve you a Lugana with your meal, well...

20/10/2025: We ate there several times during our one-week stay at the Villaggio Turistico Lugana Marina and were more than satisfied. I have to give special mention to George/Giorgio, who served us on the restaurant's rooftop terrace. He was very attentive, friendly, unobtrusive, and always had good recommendations for us. This man is invaluable at this location!!! Keep it up, we'll be back.

09/10/2025: Encouraged by the resort where we were staying, we went to their restaurant on Monday evening. Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. From the start, the waiter was rude and rude. He graciously pointed us in the right direction. As soon as we got our menus, the waiter returned a minute later, expecting us to order immediately. We were with a two-year-old, and it's impossible to order something that quickly. As soon as we got to the "secondi piatti" menu, the waiter reappeared and rolled his eyes at us, ostentatiously indicating that we weren't ready yet. This put us in such a bad mood that it was impossible to sit and eat in such an atmosphere. This place is of a very low standard. The waiter needs service training. I don't understand how anyone can treat customers this way? Is it because we didn't speak Italian? Or maybe we weren't welcomed by the child? I don't recommend it, I advise against it, I warn you!!! Don't go to this cruel place.

15/11/2025: The fact that I could choose vermouth gave me hope that I'd be able to enjoy a good Negroni. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case: there was virtually no mixing, and the vermouth released the classic unpleasant notes that come from long-open and poorly stored drinks.

20/10/2025: Trattoria with an authentic flavor, with a breathtaking view of Lake Iseo A trattoria reminiscent of a bygone era, located in a splendid hilltop position with truly spectacular views of Lake Iseo. The view alone is worth the visit, but the overall experience is made even more enjoyable by the ambiance and service. The staff, composed of young, highly professional women, welcomed us with great courtesy and helpfulness, serving us attentively and with a constant smile. Genuine and attentive service helps make guests feel at home. The ambiance has a pleasantly vintage style, clean and with attention to detail, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy the dishes at your leisure. The kitchen offers simple yet tasty dishes, all with a homemade flavor and prepared with quality ingredients. The "XXL" platter is noteworthy, truly generous and well-stocked: a rich selection of cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by torta rustica, giardiniera, and, depending on the season, homemade compotes and pickles. The casoncelli are also excellent, reminiscent of those made by grandma—flavorful and well-seasoned. The meat, however, is a little less convincing, especially the cuberoll, which didn't thrill me like the rest of the dishes. The tiramisu, served in a moka pot, is very original, a fun and visually appealing idea; however, the mascarpone lacked a bit of texture. Overall, the quality/price ratio is more than fair, and the experience was decidedly positive. An authentic trattoria, with authentic dishes, friendly staff, and a picture-perfect view. I will definitely be back!

02/10/2025: Welcoming restaurant, spectacular lake view, terrace with well-kept grass where you can enjoy fresh air and the view of Lake Iseo. We ate the "fixed menu", there were two choices (*because of the Pisogne festival)). Everything was very good, excellent cold cuts, the giardiniera was delicious, the spit-roasted meat was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, polenta and omelette were enjoyed. Excellent house wine. I recommend the 20/30 minute walk from the church (worth seeing) down in the village. Fair prices. I would gladly return.

08/11/2025: We went there one evening for dinner. My nephew and I gorged on a plate of truly delicious carbonara 😋 as did the cacio e pepe potatoes. Compliments to the owners and the very kind staff.

21/10/2025: I celebrated my 50th wedding anniversary. Perfect dinner, magical setting. I've never attended a banquet and enjoyed such high-quality food. The cuisine at Portia Stone Estate was perfect, far exceeding my wildest expectations. The service was excellent, the rooms perfect. I hope to return, perhaps not for a planned event. I'd say Hospitality and Quality were "top-notch." Thank you so much for helping make my celebration unforgettable.

21/10/2025: We had a memorable visit to the winery, which crowned our entire trip to Rome. The food and wine were the best, and we were warmly welcomed. Our winery guide Giovanna took good care of us. The winery animals were also lovely: Zuffo the cat, and the dogs Whiskey and Brandy. We warmly recommend it to others. We thought that instead of hectic Rome, it would be worth staying in Frascati, which is a super beautiful and idyllic city half an hour away by train.

23/09/2025: Very varied menu. You can find traditional, vegetarian and even vegan cuisine; in any case, you can eat well and lighten your lunch breaks, especially if you need to manage your afternoon work schedule. Very good service. We arrived in large numbers (9) without a reservation, but they immediately found a solution by moving tables and chairs. Water was served immediately (not a given) and the wait between ordering and the dishes was short. The bill was reasonable and the quality was good. It could be a point of reference for lunch breaks. I will return.

18/09/2025: A simple, authentic place, accessible to everyone. It's wonderful to see how so many different people come together at this popular bistro. It's more than just a restaurant. The food is as good as home cooking. I've been there several times and will definitely return.

02/11/2025: Found it by chance two years ago, while I was in the Boario Terme area. A welcoming place with a rustic feel. Excellent food, with generous portions. Only one flaw. I can't give it more than 5 stars. Every time I'm in the area, it becomes a regular stop.

13/11/2025: I was with a couple of friends, on a Saturday night like any other, but with one peculiarity. I was with important people like Orteip, Inallob, and Nilap. The fish was amazing, and let's talk about the waiter 😍 (fabulous). My favorite dish is the python (grilled). I stayed in the suite with my friends (perfect for a honeymoon). Great! Great! Great! Great!
