16/12/2024: It was the first time but I hope for a series because I had a great time, few times have I eaten so well and found meaning in the individual dishes and in the entire journey. I would like to give a separate note of importance to the scallop and lemon curd, then the tarte tatin from the small patisserie was truly special.

30/05/2025: Absolutely the best ice cream! We went there twice in one evening because it was sooooo delicious! The prices are pretty reasonable—€2.80 for two scoops and €3.50 for three. Super friendly staff and a huge selection! The mango ice cream was especially good.

13/04/2025: This evening I had the pleasure of having a nice dinner with my friends. The atmosphere was already warm as soon as we entered, the waiters and all the staff were on point, the wine glass was never empty from starter to dessert. We left with a bang! a slightly bland salmon but with a touch of salt had its own reason, polenta and creamed cod at the top of formula one and the scallop with leek cream transported us to the oceanic world. The mushrooms had a slight risotto flavor but were very good (Giulia loved them). The tagliolini were evidently the strong point, too bad my friend drank too much and acted silly, consequently she couldn't appreciate the porosity of the octopus. As for the second courses, they were real gems, the crab was a little uncomfortable to eat but when you tasted that little bit of pulp it was incontrovertibly an explosion of flavours, Giulia really liked the clams. The grilled prawns ended up a bit on the carpet, but really, really good. Between one cigarette and another the wine glass was constantly refilled and we really appreciated it. The dessert was a very original contrast of flavors, the freshness of the cream was an oxymoron with the warmth of the berries (almost exciting!), we appreciated the biscuit. When we thought we had finished (now full) it was time for the grappa, I recommend the combination of ginger and gogi berries if you want to appreciate even more the magic show proposed to the diners (I highly recommend going to the bathroom before it starts). Still not happy, we took the tour of the cellars, it was a pity that Marino was not there to explain to us about his friendship with Putin, on the other hand the grappas had a strong and pleasant flavor to finish the dinner. Final bill a little salty (80 pleura per person) BUT I must say well spent, we also identified in the maitre (very nice) a notable ability in taking photos and available to bring back the cell phone forgotten by our friend Pierbazzani on the table Highly recommended to all the inhabitants of the area and surrounding areas. I recommend that you don't let the driver drink.

24/05/2025: This cafe is definitely a landmark of the lake! We found it by accident and highly recommend everyone to visit. The road to it is a beautiful and exciting serpentine. It was so much fun that upon arrival I immediately ordered Irish Coffee with whiskey)) We took pizza with seafood and tuna. With seafood it is very tasty and juicy, lots of toppings and cheese. I did not expect that in such a place pizza is even a little cheaper than downstairs. I did not want to leave - it was so nice to admire the lake, the views of the shore opposite. Although at first it was even a little scary to look out the window)) There is a room with a sofa and without windows, where you can relax with a group. We will definitely visit next time I am at the lake!

13/05/2025: Very nice place near Limone sul Garda, precisely in Tremosine. My partner and I looked for a restaurant in the hinterland and this one caught our attention given the good reviews. Indeed the reviews were true, we ate really well! The place is large and clean, it has both internal and external space. We took an appetizer to share consisting of polenta with lard and mushrooms, delicious! A first course each (I'll put a photo) and to avoid taking a second course because we didn't feel like it, we decided to take a portion of baked potatoes with rosemary, each, really excellent! To finish a dessert, also shared. From an economic point of view it is average. The only flaw is that the state road that takes you from the lake to the restaurant in a few minutes is currently closed, we discovered this at the last second and to get there we had to take a huge tour of about 30 minutes, reaching the top of the mountain and then going back down towards the restaurant, all this in complete darkness where the only light was the car headlights. However, apart from the experience of getting to and from this restaurant, everything was excellent, even the welcome from the staff. If it were to happen to me, I would go back, just hoping that the short road is open. In any case, I highly recommend it.

06/06/2025: Aparecimos en La Bottega simplemente porque estaba a poca distancia de donde estábamos alojados. Quizás porque estaba situado en una calle residencial a cierta distancia del centro de Sirmione, no teníamos grandes expectativas, pero fueron fácilmente superados. Para los no italianos, estas eran las mejores pizzas que habíamos comido. La textura de las bases era perfectamente consistente, mientras que las coberturas sabían mucho más frescas, el servicio de mesa era eficiente y amigable. El hombre que cuida el horno, que puede haber sido el propio Roberto, también fue muy amable cuando vinimos a pagar. En términos de relación calidad-precio, este fue fácilmente el mejor restaurante que utilizamos durante nuestra corta estancia.

Everything on the menu makes you want to try it, but anything we went for was so tasty! You can even buy their own olive oil! Even our dog was so much welcomed! Thanks so much ! I Dù de la Contrada is the kind of place where every dish speaks with sincerity and substance. We opened with a poached egg, delicate and creamy, executed with technical precision and served with refined taste. The carrot meatballs with paprika, surprising for their balance and lightness, tell of a vegetable cuisine that doesn't need to shout to be remembered. The absolute protagonist of the evening was the beef in oil with polenta: a Brescia classic performed with skill. The very tender meat, the rich and velvety base, and the just the right rough polenta: a dish that warms, satisfies, conquers. Grand finale with the rose cake and Chantilly cream: soft, fragrant, delicious without excess. A perfect closure. To make everything even more pleasant, impeccable service, with kind, friendly and attentive staff, capable of putting you at ease from the first moment. Full five stars, and all deserved. A real cuisine, a sincere welcome: to be recommended without hesitation.
