27/03/2025: It used to be much better. The quality has dropped significantly in recent years, both for dine-in and takeout. I used to go there often because it was close to my house, but now I prefer going to Desenzano or Montichiari. I strongly advise against it.

13/09/2025: It's self-service only and there are no restrooms. We bought sardines with polenta and polenta with cheese. Both were served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. The sardines (€14) were small and dry. The polenta was very basic. Aside from the good location, the snack bar was a huge disappointment for us overall.

27/08/2025: The food was very expensive and terrible. A Margherita pizza by the slice cost €3.50, with toppings €4. It was so bad it looked like the kind you buy at the supermarket. To top it all off, they didn't give me a receipt.

26/08/2025: I mean, I call to order a lemon-flavored birthday cake and I tell them about a cake they made for Mother's Day that was posted on their Instagram profile, and they reply, "I don't know what cake you're talking about." Are you kidding me? It's your Instagram profile, you posted it, and you don't know what cake I'm talking about? Do you make these cakes or not? Meh🤷‍♀️

10/09/2025: We had asked for a quiet and peaceful room, but when we arrived for check-in, we struggled to get one right away. A colleague of the person who had initially welcomed us intervened to better manage the situation and find an internal room. The receptionist who checked us in was very kind. The free parking, which is affiliated with the hotel, is convenient and just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Otherwise, it's hard to call this a 4-star hotel; I think it's lost a few over the years. The room was dated, with old and, above all, damaged furniture; the wooden headboard was practically peeling! The room smelled of smoke, a strong smell, but I didn't report it right away. There were only 2 pillows in the room, no spare in the closet. I asked for 2 more, which were given to us, but they were basically 2 slices of cheese, nonexistent! The room was very clean, however! Breakfast exceeded expectations considering the size of the room, and the manager was very kind. I'm celiac, and he went out of his way to ensure I received excellent service. I believe there's a desire to keep the quality of the facility and services so low, perhaps to keep costs down; however, the staff is generally very kind and professional. It's a shame about the rest!

08/09/2025: Located across from the train station, it's easy to get around the city. The concierge service was excellent and knowledgeable, and even more so kindly allowed us to keep our suitcase at the hotel after checkout. The room was a sore point: everything was very old and worn. The bathtub, walls, and curtains had holes or broken parts. Hygiene wasn't particularly good either, with the bed and floor having several stains. This aspect needs a major overhaul. See you next time.

10/06/2025: Very nice atmosphere, kind and prepared staff. The dishes are of quality, very good illustration of the waiter.

30/08/2025: Terrible food, cold cuts, very small portions, good value for money. Two main courses, half a bottle of wine, and a potato chip, €44. However, the service was friendly and fast. We won't be returning.

04/10/2025: We decided to give it another try, but like the other times, we regretted it. An hour's delay for eight pizzas ordered hours in advance is unacceptable. Never again.

04/10/2025: Embarrassing takeout/delivery. Hours of delay. Not just once, but every time. HOURS! If you can't keep up with takeout, skip it. Back off!

05/10/2025: Two coffees at the counter with dirty cups in front of me, the barista serves me a macchiato that spills out of the cup... you pay 10 cents more for the macchiato. Vergnano isn't like that, at least I hope.

01/10/2025: I visited this place with my family and we were really satisfied! The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, perfect for spending time together. A special thanks goes to Ara, Ilary, and Gabriel for their exceptional service: they were always kind, helpful, and very professional. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for impeccable service and a pleasant, family-friendly experience. We will definitely be back!
