05/06/2026: My partner and I stayed one night at this hotel. The building is dated, but after speaking with the owners, they told me they're renovating it. The room is large and the mattress comfortable. The bathroom is a decent size, but the shower is tiny and not the most comfortable. The highlight is the view of the lake, which includes Monte Isola. It's fantastic! The walls are thin, and you can hear the neighbors quite a bit, but at night it's incredibly quiet. I recommend it, especially for the wonderful view. The port where the ferry to Monte Isola departs is directly opposite, and you can walk there.

27/04/2026: I stayed at the Hotel Aquila in Sulzano over the weekend of April 24, 25, and 26, 2026, with my partner, and the clearest feeling I take away is that of time suspended. A place far from the hustle and bustle, essential and unadorned, as if someone had the kindness to stop the clock in the 1970s and leave it there, intact, in no rush to leave. The hotel possesses that rare quality that cannot be bought or manufactured: memory. Entering it feels like returning to a simpler, more authentic idea of ​​hospitality. No excess, no posturing. Just a reassuring sobriety and a coherence that wins you over. Everything speaks softly, yet with precision. The cleanliness, above all, is impeccable: attentive, scrupulous, almost thoughtful. Everywhere you look, you sense the attention to detail, that quiet care that doesn't demand applause but makes guests feel truly welcomed. And then there's the park, a beautiful green expanse that accompanies your stay with unexpected sweetness, like a quiet respite within an already marvelous landscape. The location is simply fantastic for those who want to experience Lake Iseo and easily board the various ferries. It's one of those places where the journey never truly begins far away, because the lake is already there, present, close by, almost within sight of your room. Special credit also goes to the staff: welcoming, kind, and attentive to guests' needs. You can sense a genuine, unpretentious helpfulness, which makes your stay even more pleasant and human. 10/03/2026: I stayed at this hotel with my entire team, and I genuinely cannot think of a single positive thing to say. Not one. Let’s start with the breakfast — or what they dare to call a breakfast. The buffet was half-empty from the moment we arrived, and not once did anyone bother to refill anything. Staff walked past the depleted trays like they were invisible. No checks, no awareness, no urgency. The rooms? No water. Not a bottle, not a jug, nothing. A basic courtesy that every hotel on the planet manages to provide, and this place couldn’t be bothered. Cleaning was a joke. We were in our rooms and housekeeping simply… didn’t come. No knock, no note, no fresh towels. Apparently the concept of scheduling around guests hasn’t reached this establishment yet. And then there was the front office. We were harassed — and I use that word deliberately — about payment. Repeated requests, and then an actual knock on our door demanding payment that had already been made. Already. Processed. Done. The sheer audacity of disturbing guests in their rooms over a payment that was settled is beyond unprofessional. To make matters worse, our flights were cancelled due to an ongoing war situation — completely outside our control. We needed to extend our stay. Rather than showing an ounce of human decency or compassion in an already distressing situation, the hotel’s response was cold and unhelpful. Asking for payment again and not waiting till checkout for our extended days. Not a shred of empathy for guests stranded through no fault of their own. But what topped it all was the overall treatment. Cold, indifferent, borderline rude. As a group, we felt completely unwelcome — like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. There was zero hospitality. Zero warmth. Zero effort. Brescia deserves better. Do yourself a favour and stay literally anywhere else.

02/06/2026: Trattoria Leon d'Oro doesn't improvise. The passion for food is palpable as soon as you step inside. You can clearly sense a tried-and-tested family business, where the art of hospitality is proudly passed down. The service is attentive, fast, and driven by a natural skill that only those who grew up in the kitchen can convey.

30/03/2026: I hate to give one star. I had a casual business lunch. First course, second course, and side dish. I only ate the vegetable side dish; the rest was truly inedible! The pasta with radicchio and cheese cream was practically nonexistent, the second course was impossible to swallow, the meat tough and chewy. The only edible food was the steamed vegetables... let's say decent! A friend of mine ordered only chicken breast and two side dishes, without the first course. He was charged for one side dish... considering it consisted of three (not just saying) leaves of lettuce. I will absolutely never go back!

04/08/2026: We are now regular customers. The pizza (for me) is the best in all of Limone. The waiter Julian is knowledgeable, friendly and available for every request. I take this opportunity to truly thank him. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly. The best. I highly recommend him.

Located in Bagnolo Mella, the restaurant immediately strikes you with its aesthetic: a perfect blend of rustic and modern, with beautiful exposed stone walls and wood-beamed ceilings that create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. ​The Dining Experience... ​We started with a charcuterie and cheese platter that exceeded expectations: the freshest sliced ​​meats and a truly flavorful selection of cheeses. The real highlight of the appetizer, however, was the melted cheese: tender, flavorful, and literally melting in your mouth. ​For the main course, we opted for timeless classics: hot dogs and fries. Generous portions, perfectly crispy bread, and perfectly golden fries. All this was accompanied by two fresh and very balanced Hugos. ​Atmosphere and Entertainment ​Beyond good food, the restaurant offers a complete entertainment experience. 21/03/2026: I was quite disappointed with my recent visit to this establishment. Despite the presence of four people behind the bar, the atmosphere immediately seemed chaotic and far from welcoming. Here are the points that left me perplexed: Unprofessionalism and tension: The bartenders seemed extremely agitated and uncoordinated. Instead of instilling calm in the customers, the atmosphere was one of gratuitous nervousness. Lack of friendliness: Customer service was minimal. A smile or a little more attention wouldn't hurt, especially when there seems to be no real justification for such coldness. Unjustified self-service: I frankly find the use of light-up buttons (the ones that vibrate when your order is ready) excessive in a context like this. Seeing four employees on staff and still having to self-serve to pick up your order takes away the touch of hospitality you expect from a bar. If I have to do everything myself, I might as well go to a vending machine. In short: there's potential, but staff should learn to manage stress better and, above all, remember that courtesy is the foundation of this job.

The value for money is simply exceptional, probably among the best not only in Brescia but in Italy. And it must be said: the strong point isn't even the prices, but rather the quality of the ingredients. The pizzas are excellent, generously topped, with a well-leavened and easily digestible dough. The menu also offers many other options, all in line with this down-to-earth philosophy and without compromising on the table setting. At its core, you can sense a genuine respect for the customer, something increasingly rare. It's one of those places you either love or hate—but once you understand it, you'll hardly leave.

19/05/2026: Beware: We were forced to stay here as a group of four. We paid a total of €345(!) including dinner (which was good) and breakfast (which was very meager). The room resembled a prison cell; there was neither toilet paper nor a room key. The owner claimed to have lost it. The hotel has only one star. For comparison: the four of us stayed at a 3-star hotel in Desenzano, including a generous, upscale dinner for four, and paid exactly the same amount. So, we were clearly ripped off for what we received. It's a shame – the owner seemed very nice at first glance.

26/07/2026: We've known this sandwich shop for a while and have nothing to complain about. The food is top-quality, the environment is very clean and well-kept, almost obsessively so. Unfortunately, the other night, having booked four days in advance, my table for two wasn't available. They set me a table in the driveway, far from everyone, with a shabby tablecloth that was blowing in the wind. I politely asked to change my seat since there were tables under the porch. She told me where she wanted to go, and let me know what she wanted. The rudeness, we might even say rudeness, was truly shocking. I know she's a peculiar type, but she went too far. I said, "Forget it, good evening," and we went elsewhere. I could barely contain my anger. This is not how you treat customers. And it's true, they don't accept children.

19/08/2026: Disappointing! Beautiful setting (right on the lake) - food and service appalling and not recommended. The mixed salad wasn't fresh and was topped with only half a slice of tomato. The food was supposed to arrive at the same time as the main course, but unfortunately, that didn't happen either. There was about a 40-minute difference. Cover was charged, but apart from cutlery, there was nothing else provided. And the bill also included a drink that wasn't ours. This is typical tourist trap! Recommendation - just avoid it.

27/01/2026: The café is small, but the staff is very friendly and attentive. The croissants and cappuccino for breakfast are excellent. The brisket we ordered, however, isn't exactly the same as the one we got at the bakery, even though it's still Candrina.
