20/10/2025: It's a real pleasure to rediscover the ancient flavors of typical Brescian cuisine with updated, bold, and flavorful dishes. The service and cleanliness are truly impeccable!

16/09/2025: Decades pass (!!), but the Belvedere di Maclino remains true to itself: excellent cuisine (the tagliolini with whitefish are exquisite, the crepes with Tremosine cheese, the pike with polenta, the creamed cod, the sorbet with Monte Maderno lemons, and the homemade liqueurs are among the specialties we tried this time), friendly and courteous service (Stefania and Florin make you feel at home, as do the rest of the staff), and prices that remain incredibly reasonable, including the wine list. The place is also… a belvedere (see the photo of the lake under a full moon!) We'll return again and again. PS: Last but not least, they created impromptu and delicious dishes for the vegan in the group—thanks to chef Luca.

27/10/2025: September 23, 2025: There are two employees who are hilarious to watch. In the office, we've nicknamed them Laurel and Hardy, Raffaele, and Eliena... (Poor thing.) Edition number 080325 Allow me to share this thought: in reference to the review from this October—miss—the two people this guy (...not being...) showered with compliments are probably your friends or relatives, so it doesn't matter if you're here typing texts, since it's not your impartial opinion. The followers of Stalinism are in a bad way, because with a full belly they want to impose their thoughts; they live in a dream disconnected from reality. Let them try to impose their thoughts with an empty belly! They're the same ones who walk around with nonexistent foreign flags to defend any flag except their own! This is what happens when the belly is full: I also asked my dad, a nice little house we inherited. I'm taking away 1 star! This confirms that he can't impose his thoughts on a full belly.

26/04/2026: A disaster! The food was lukewarm and the espresso was cold. Then the apparent owner complained to the waitress that we hadn't ordered enough. The toilets can't be locked; there's a strange little sign to adjust, but someone still went into the stall. Well, I might recommend it for a drink. But if you just want a drink, you probably won't get a table because the old lady wouldn't earn enough. I'd just like to know if the staff is registered or employed illegally…

26/04/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance, because my husband wasn't feeling well, and he happened to be sitting at a table at this restaurant. Mrs. Paola was very kind and friendly, and we stopped for lunch. What can I say? Everything was delicious! I recommend it and we'll definitely be back. Then have lunch with a view of the cathedral in Brescia.

07/02/2026: Avoid half-thawed pizzoccheri, undercooked tagliata ordered and served raw, and when we asked for a separate bill, we were rudely told—but can you read? There was a sign stating that separate bills were not given, but the manner was truly rude. I won't be returning.

01/01/2026: The food and place are quite good, unfortunately I have to give one star for the manners of the tall, almost shaved waiter with quite annoying manners and irony with jokes and unprofessional behavior, if you don't like your job, change it 😉 next time I'll go eat elsewhere and I will also advise against it to the other 30 collaborators who will work in the area.

24/04/2026: One of the worst lunches I've ever had. The food was poor quality, stale, and sometimes had a strange or unpleasant aftertaste. The ingredients of the dishes (vegetarian, etc.) were not indicated. I didn't order coffee or dessert because I didn't want to venture further. The staff was very friendly, although the grill workers cooked and handled the food without gloves. €15 was a steal. Highly discouraged!

14/06/2026: The driver has everything he needs. The staff is very friendly and polite, and the shower key is exchangeable. If you want to see the city of Brescia, you can take bus #9 from Buffalora >>>Violino, a 4 km walk. The bus operates on Saturdays and Sundays.

12/06/2026: I had a cappuccino and a brioche. The brioche, with the added jam, was made with a dough I really liked. I appreciated the intense flavor of the apricot jam. I found the brioche display a bit subdued; there were very few on display; most were on trays behind the counter, but I would have preferred to see them displayed in their own window. A negative note was that hand soap was only available in one of the many dispensers in the men's restroom, and the situation in the women's area wasn't any better either. Nice place, but still needs some work. The RV parking is too far away; you have to walk quite a bit to get to the entrance. Friendly, smiling staff.

11/04/2026: The food at Sampei's is always good. It's a shame the business will soon close due to the owners' retirement after 60 years in the restaurant business.

25/12/2025: Well... From the outside I wouldn't have given it a cent... Inside... the place is large and clean. They also have a well-equipped children's area. The dishes are good. Nothing to say... A place to recommend... Friendly and helpful owners.

30/05/2026: Gluten-free pizza, 10%. Quality dough and ingredients. Selection of gluten-free bottled beer. My friends, gluten-free pizza, 10. Very knowledgeable young staff. Perfect dinner. I recommend it.
