26/10/2024: We returned to this place after a few months, and we are sorry to say that we had to revise our previous review, due to a drastic change, objectively for the worse, in the staff. The elderly waitress spent the twenty minutes we were there producing a harrowing litany, at times grotesque, cursing an entity that despite our efforts we were unable to identify. The other customers commented between sarcastic and scandalized, taking care not to be heard, probably in fear of suffering the same curse with a seventeenth-century witch hunt flavor. The young girl at the cash register, when we went to pay, apologized to us, despite her complete ignorance of the facts, saying that every now and then her colleague experiences days like this. The environment was ultimately quite heavy, but my husband is still convinced that she was a cosplayer hired for the upcoming pagan Halloween celebration. However, I don't think we will return to check it out, as our little girl, despite her young age, was quite traumatized. To conclude I add that the cappuccino arrived cold, and the croissants were the ones from the day before, or if the cosplay hypothesis were to be confirmed, the ones from the dawn of time.

09/11/2024: I booked but no one answers, I call the number it doesn't exist and when I arrive I find it closed even though it appears open on the website... how sad!!!

12/12/2024: An hour to deliver a pizza and a kebab. the kebab was completely wrong, the pizza was burnt underneath. It was once my favorite pizzeria, but since the change of management it is no longer!

20/04/2025: We went for lunch today and it was wonderful. Rural and welcoming context, delicious food and wine, kindness and professionalism in the service. We will definitely be back! Thanks to Lorenzo, Alessandro and little Diego Enea who entertained our girls! Alessandro Zucca

19/04/2025: Excellent little place immersed in the countryside between Montichiari and Calcinato, suitable for evenings with friends, we mainly ate meat which is of excellent quality. The exquisite giardiniera, never eaten so good, possibility of shopping by purchasing 0 km products. And then what about the owner: a welcoming person who takes care of the customer and with a great desire to do things. We'll be back soon. Lorenzo🔝

16/10/2024: Das Da Rino ist eines der besten Restaurants am südwestlichen Gardasee. Reservierung ist aber immer erforderlich. Geht aber nur telefonisch, über eMail nicht möglich. Hier leider etwas altmodisch.

16/10/2024: Molto buono, ottimo servizio e ottimo cibo. Consigliato a tutti. Prezzi di un piatto di pasta fuori mercato per italiani però il prezzo è giustificabile. Tornerei.

26/01/2025: Fixed menu dinner organized for a large group, arriving early for an aperitif it is immediately clear that the girls are in difficulty despite the place being initially empty. Definitely improvable Spritz served with two chips only after our request. We sit down for the appetizer, we have to request the bread for the cold cuts appetizer and unfortunately they didn't have enough for everyone who booked. The first was a choice between two but they don't ask us anything and we are served by default the casoncelli which in any case turn out to be pleasant but few. The wait for the grill is long, the meat is then served cold and sparse. We come to the dessert included in the menu, good sbrisolona while the tart is decidedly raw. The place was too small to accommodate so many people, people had to constantly get up to go to the bathroom, and the same thing to go out. Among other things, the women's bathroom was out of order. At the table with us there were vegetarians, as a starter they only shared the giardiniera with the other diners, with cheese and pepper as the first course and a sad salad with "vegan turkey strips" as the second course, when asked if soy was present, a food to which the lady was allergic (which had been made known) the waitress was not prepared and then appeared annoyed. For the live performance, both acoustically and location were overall not bad.

26/01/2025: Place that he will definitely never see us again. The pirlo we had at the beginning was just water and ice. Table for 10 people. The appetizer, the most abundant part of the dinner, was just cold cuts and two small cups of giardiniera, like those for cappuccino. Not even a piece of bread or breadsticks. Bread which we requested and which the waitress told us was finished. The braised casoncelli, delicious. But they were 6 each. The mixed "grill" does not deserve comments due to its non-existent quality. Same quantity as the casoncelli. The dessert was a raw and inedible "tart", and a sbrisolona which wasn't bad. It cannot be said that he did not expect all the people who were there, because it was an agreed and booked dinner. The place, however, is nice. What is certain is that if I go to a place to spend some money, I am not satisfied with the nice place. I would like minimal service. A service that I didn't even glimpse yesterday.

31/03/2025: Abbiamo anche visto il maestro dal vivo! Pasticceria buona e bella alla vista, i prezzi sono come quelli di una normale pasticceria di Milano, per cui essendo eccelsa va bene!

26/03/2025: È la seconda volta che ci vado e almeno questa sono riuscito a vedere il Maestro. Purtroppo aveva un impegno e non sono riuscito a strappargli una foto. Per tutto il resto una vera e propria “Delizia”.

17/03/2025: We came here out of season and the café was filled with locals. Always a good sign. The atmosphere was very lively, friendly and welcoming. It was fun to order because of the noise level. We got more than what we wanted. But the waitress was so sweet and the pastries so delicious. We would come back anytime.

25/02/2025: We are talking about February, with light rain and cold. We were there several times and the place was almost full. Mostly local and older customers. The food and drinks, good. I loved the “Torta di Rosa e burro” or something like that. Very correct staff, 10. The prices are affordable for the area. You can even park nearby, if you come from afar. I would return, in fact we returned.

09/02/2025: Questo locale é un buo ristorante con una discreta cucina. L' interno é bello e decorato. L' unica nota negativa è che fa un po' troppo caldo.

20/09/2024: Siamo stati attirati in questo ristorante dalle ottime recensioni. Purtroppo appena arrivati abbiamo compreso che non era quello che ci aspettavamo. Sicuramente complice la fine della stagione abbiamo cenato all’interno della sala colazione dell’hotel (fuori credo che l’atmosfera sarebbe stata diversa) quindi l’atmosfera non era delle migliori. Menù non pessimo ma “sublime” solo per la clientela estera e prezzi alti rispetto all’offerta. Anche no.

10/10/2024: La titolare arrogante e maleducata come me pochi, quella tatuata con i capelli corti. Ordino un Lugana, lo versano e poi lo lasciano lì fermo per chiacchierare e scherzare tra di loro. Mi sono arrabbiata e l'ho fatto cambiare. Stuzzichini di almeno un mese prima, scaduti ed immangiabili. Mi fa piacere che sia stato chiuso.

05/09/2024: Nice place with lake view. Everything else was embarrassing, from the non-alcoholic drink chosen by the barman (carbonated soda and green syrup I don't know what flavour) was so sweet that it was undrinkable. Small bowl of chips and peanuts like in a village bar... This place has potential, whoever runs it I don't think so
