Yet here, in this corner of Brianza where Silvio Berlusconi has chosen to build his empire and his villas, there's an osteria worthy of a secular pilgrimage. It's called Osteria del Tempo Perso. Small, bright, welcoming. No frills, no Instagram bait. Just substance. The staff is kind, courteous, with that perfect measure of discreet presence that only those with a proven track record possess. They don't harass you, they don't disappear. They're there when needed. I start with the Valcalepio and goat's cheese risotto. And here everything is clear. The risotto is superb—that's the only word I can use. Perfectly creamy without being heavy, the wine permeating every grain and the goat cheese providing that elegant, acidic note that balances everything. This isn't just any risotto. It's risotto. The one worth leaving Milan for and getting lost in the streets of Brianza. Second course: Milanese-style breaded scorpionfish with purée. Scorpionfish, a noble and under-exploited fish, treated with the respect it deserves. Crispy, golden breading encloses delicate, fragrant white flesh. The purée is enveloping, unpretentious but masterfully executed. I pair it with a glass of French Crémant. Elegant, fresh bubbles that cleanse the palate and complement without overpowering. The bread and breadsticks are excellent. The wine list is extensive and thoughtful, capable of satisfying both those seeking a fine bottle and those simply wanting a good glass. There's also a small outdoor space for mild days. Osteria del Tempo Perso is that place you return to, time and time again. Not out of surprise, but out of certainty. 16/03/2026: I stopped by for lunch, drawn by the positive reviews. Without a reservation, they found me a seat, treated me with great courtesy, and the food... Truly delicious and high-quality! The goose cured meats were mouth-watering, but the risotto and ravioli were also spectacular. A gem of a restaurant!

09/04/2026: Everything is delicious, from appetizers to desserts. Here you'll find a fantastic, balanced Apulian menu without too many frills and featuring all the best recipes. The appetizers include pettole, dairy products, and meatballs with tomato sauce and basil—you can't leave without trying them. Before sampling the Orecchiette of every kind and type, you should save room for the iconic Acqua Sala dish, and also for Apulian cuisine: ...bombette, grilled with a flavor and softness that will send you into ecstasy. They recommended a nice Negramaro, and I've never managed to enjoy the desserts, although they are interesting. The owner and staff are always helpful and kind. Always top notch.

The full menu costs €40 and you eat a lot and really well. I would have preferred not to have the two first courses and the second courses together on the same plate so as not to "contaminate" the flavors. The view of the valley below was beautiful. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly.
