Excellent restaurant. Very good ingredients used and well cooked. Welcoming and very kind staff. Nice place, tidy and clean. Normal prices considering all the elements I mentioned. I had two occasions for Sunday lunches, but I will definitely be back!!! Highly recommended!!!

Somelier certified for more than twenty years will be able to advise you in the best way for a perfect cone-wine pairing. Together with his staff he works every day to offer an absolutely pleasant culinary experience, making you feel pampered, at home. The wine list is very interesting, the result of great knowledge and perfect selection of the wineries in our area. Maurizio Toscanini is the Chef: his dishes are a perfect mix between tradition and innovation. The dishes are presented with care and embody the flavor and tradition of the Oltrepò Pavese. On the menu there is the possibility of finding various Slow Food products. Speaking of this last topic, the Osteria del Campanile has recently obtained the much deserved Slow Food Snail, i.e. the highest recognition awarded to those Osterias that stand out for best embracing the values ​​of Slow Food.

I'm very conflicted about this judgment because I have to admit that I'm putting a lot of my subjective bias into it. Let me explain, I gave the food 3 stars because, although I considered it objectively good, it did not match my subjective expectations. Personally, I thought the food was too refined while I prefer rather simple and simple food. So if you are looking for a traditional place in Oltrepò, I would choose something else. The service very positive.

Buonissimo tutto ma porzioni piccole, i primi sopratutto. Assenza di un fasciatoio per cambiare i neonati.

Siamo rimasti tutti molto soddisfatti, mangiato e bevuto molto bene. Cucina concreta e senza fronzoli. Ci torneremo certamente.

Ma che bel locale! Ambiente che scalda il cuore, rustico ma nient’affatto privo di stile, una isteria vera dov’è ci si sente a proprio agio. Cucina tipica del luogo e qualità super. Antipasto davvero succulento con salumi dell’Oltrepo e la schita, un accompagnamento buonissimo. Poi spaghettonj con broccoli e acciughe. “Scarpettati”. Buttafuoco storico, vista la giornata tipicamente invernale. Servizio molto gentile e professionale, conto appropriato. Due alternative combinabili fra loro a pranzo: menu del giorno o alla carta. Mi ha davvero colpito e lo stra consiglio.

Sulla via di casa, siamo finiti in questa "Osteria" per caso. Basta entrare per capire che è tutto ben curato nei minimi particolari, a partire dall'arredamento e dalla preparazione dei tavoli. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, cominciando da un antipasto con i salumi locali, poi abbiamo gustato un delizioso risotto per finire con il tiramisù. Molto buono il pane. Ampia scelta di ottimi vini. Personale molto preparato e gentile. E' un ristorante da tenere in considerazione. Alla prossima !
