I’ve dined in over 1,000 restaurants across Italy, and this one is number one. The pasta is flawless, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is pure magic. If you want the real, unforgettable Italy, eat here. 10/10. If you are visiting Italy and only have one meal, skip the tourist traps and come here. This is the standard by which I will now judge all other Italian restaurants.

Excellence It's been a while since we've been back to this lovely little restaurant in the Pavia countryside, renowned and well-known for its typical village bar-trattoria setting combined with the high-quality dishes offered. Now in the new, ultra-modern location on two levels with increased table numbers, we're at the pinnacle of excellence: a beautiful setting, a larger and more helpful staff despite the crowds (if you don't book, you risk a lot, we've seen tables rotate twice!) sublime dishes, always inventive and exclusive, first courses, meat or fish, whatever you choose, you can never go wrong, excellent quality combined with an abundance of homemade desserts, a very good selection of wines. In short, a truly special place. Kudos to Dudi, a master in the kitchen, and then, after a stroll, the dining room makes you feel special, as does his cuisine!! Raw risotto, good cured meats, perfectly cooked sliced ​​steak with arugula and parmesan... Service: Only two stars due to the waitresses' unhelpfulness, who always seemed annoyed by requests and during table service. There's no air conditioning, so we opened the window to let in a little fresh air. In short, it's fine for a quick lunch or dinner, but definitely not for a banquet. Parking is nearby, but almost unmarked.
