Welcoming atmosphere, attractive table setting. Good quality food with unique and sophisticated combinations.
Medium-high prices.
28/09/2025: Sunday lunch was nothing short of spectacular!
We tried the pumpkin and speck risotto and the truffle ragù gnocchi.
The tartare with foie gras was delicious.
You absolutely must try the rose cake with freshly made zabaglione!!

24/11/2025: We had dinner with a couple of friends at this authentic Japanese restaurant. A high-end restaurant, where the menu and
service translate into a high price. Everything was fine until we got home, and my girlfriend and I developed nausea and a stomachache. Curious, the next day we asked our friends how they'd spent the night: they were even worse than us. As if that weren't enough, we told the story to a third couple who happened to be at the restaurant the same evening. They, too, told us they'd had a bad night. If you position yourself as a high-end restaurant, with a price per person of over €100, the first thing I'd worry about is the quality and proper storage of the ingredients.

The chef's touch is evident, with elements of southern Italy presented in a contemporary way, always well-balanced. An explosion of flavors on the palate; more than just a dinner, it's a true journey through the culture and history of Campania and beyond. Service is always attentive and friendly. A pleasant surprise: the chef spends time with guests at the end of the meal—a delightful person!
02/12/2025: The Derby Grill Restaurant is located inside the Hotel de la Ville in Monza, on the main road leading to the Royal Villa. I give a well-deserved 5 stars to the cuisine, the professionalism of the entire hotel team, the ambience, and the refinement of every detail. Dining on the terrace in the warmer months is also delightful.
A must-try, reservations required.

07/10/2025: My wife and I visited Milan from the US and stumbled upon this restaurant near our apartment stay. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, service, and food. The live pianist playing was a beautiful and unexpected touch on a random Tuesday evening for dinner.

Very friendly service, with the owner/chef explaining the dishes to you. The food is well-prepared and made with excellent ingredients. The flavors of the dishes stay with you for days to come. Everything exudes passion. The price is fair.
