07/10/2025: My wife and I visited Milan from the US and stumbled upon this restaurant near our apartment stay. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, service, and food. The live pianist playing was a beautiful and unexpected touch on a random Tuesday evening for dinner.

The pumpkin and herb tortelli are amazing. The ingredients are excellent. 20/10/2025: Hostaria Viola is a very intimate and elegant restaurant, where you can sample the main dishes of Mantua's tradition. Each dish is carefully crafted down to the smallest detail, showcasing the "homemade" flavor to its fullest. The service is attentive and meticulous, making you feel like you're part of the family. The desserts deserve a special mention! Bravo!
