I had dinner at Ancora restaurant, and the experience was truly impeccable in every way. The restaurant is very well-kept, elegant yet welcoming, with a relaxing and never-too-loud atmosphere: perfect for enjoying a quiet evening. The staff deserves a special mention: the waiters are extremely kind, attentive, and above all, knowledgeable in recommending the dishes and specials of the day. The cuisine is entirely seafood-based, and the quality is evident in every course. Upon arrival, a welcome aperitif is offered, a much-appreciated gesture, but what really struck me was the attention to detail: since I didn't order an appetizer, while my partner did, they still brought me a sample of risotto with polenta and bottarga, simply to keep me from having to sit around and watch. A rare and truly elegant touch, which makes all the difference💖 The finale was also worthy: coffee is served with small sweet bites, including a delicious zuppa inglese, homemade biscuits, and even a grappa with raisins. Small details that transform a dinner into a complete experience. Parking is also convenient, both on-site and off-street. A restaurant I absolutely recommend: quality, customer service, and atmosphere come together perfectly.

Absolutely the best fish I've ever eaten. I can say without hesitation that, to date, it's the best seafood restaurant I've ever been to. I had a raw appetizer and a cooked appetizer: it's unusual to order two appetizers, but I was really unsure which one to choose, so I ended up ordering both. The result? I left feeling really full, as if I'd eaten many more dishes, and the quality was top notch. The price, by the way, was absolutely fair, not at all excessive for what they offer. I couldn't find a single flaw: impeccable service, attentive and friendly staff, a very nice, welcoming place with a warm and pleasant atmosphere. I can't wait to return, and even though it's quite far from my home, I'd gladly travel all those miles again just to eat their fish again. It's definitely worth it. Reservations are highly recommended.
