Typical place. If you are looking for a Genoese restaurant, this is certainly one of the most suitable. Excellent dishes, informal environment, prices appropriate to the products and a Genoese friendly host.

Un pò difficile da trovare , ma una volta entrati sei immerso nella realtà di una vecchia locanda genovese . Arredo piuttosto particolare , con piccole salette , tutto sommato piacevole e famigliare . I piatti proposti sono tipici della cucina ligure e devo dire che sono davvero ben fatti , semplici ma gustosi . Potrei fare solo un appunto sulle porzioni , un pò risicate ....... anche l'occhio vuole la sua parte . Il titolare che serve al tavolo è simpatico e gentile .

A Genova si può essere contemporaneo con una cucina tradizionale…..o si può essere tradizionalmente contemporaneo…..Da Genio potete vivere nel presente con tutti i piatti della emblematica cucina Genovese , Michele (uno dei sapienti cuochi ) ci presenta e descrive con entusiasmo il menù con piatti rigorosamente della stagione . Funghi , carciofi, panissa , tagliatelle con i funghi ( pasta fatta in casa ) , mandilli al pesto , dolci ( rigorosamente fatti in casa) presentati impeccabilmente. Mise en place essenziale, locale caratteristico , personale gentile e preparato . Qualità e prezzo ottimo . Grazie per una serata spensierata. Fabio Rossi
