To avoid the slightly rustic treatment the Genoese gave us Alpini, during the 97th gathering,
on May 8, 2026, we came to Recco, receiving a warm welcome full of smiles and greetings. We then entered this elegant restaurant, with soft lighting, discreet music, charming decor, and attentive service, and enjoyed a cheese focaccia, the pride of Recco, a gastronomic highlight. Then we moved on to the delicate and colorful creamed cod.
All this was preceded by an amuse-bouche similar to potato chips, but made with chickpea flour, truly delicious and original.
Finally, we witnessed a procession of dishes for the other customers, which left us speechless.

Nice restaurant even if a little retro, excellent dishes, to start with hot fried panizza, seafood risotto served in a very generous terrine, very delicate marinated cod and fried calamari, open fried anchovies all accompanied by an excellent Riesling

Excellent restaurant serving traditional Ligurian cuisine. The cheese focaccia was spectacular, as were all the dishes. Exceptional value for money.

We liked everything, from the focaccia pizzata appetizer to the pansoti with herbs. It's a shame there wasn't any more room for the mixed fried food or the grilled food because I would have tasted it.

We had an excellent Recco focaccia PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) for takeout. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and pleasant. While we waited, we watched some very tempting dishes emerge from the kitchen. I'll definitely be back! It's worth exiting the Livorno/Genoa A12 highway to break up the journey.
