Fantastic views over Moneglia. There's no à la carte menu, but a delicious fish set menu. Very tasty food and an entertaining host. Well worth a visit.

We come to Moneglia when we can (unfortunately, once every 4 or 5 years) just for this place. All the clichés about Ligurians being inhospitable or stingy are disproved by this place, where the food and wine are carefully prepared and reasonably priced, served with grace and passion.

An unforgettable dinner in a magical, high-altitude setting. Excellent service. The owner came to our table, and we had a moving and passionate conversation about the significance of the sea for Liguria. My father emigrated from Genoa to Argentina. His charming wife arranged transportation for us to the train station. The seafood dishes were plentiful, refined, and exquisite.

Spectacular, breathtaking view, the owner is truly welcoming and convivial, the fish is very fresh, the ingredients are quality, the portions are generous, the dishes are truly tasty.

Caccia C'a Bugge

19/07/2026: Discovered by chance, like the town that hosts it, Caccia ca bugge is a surprising restaurant. The wine list is so extensive and rich that it's hard to resist. The menu is decidedly traditional, and that's not a bad thing. The service is meticulous and attentive to the descriptions and the local area, without ever falling into the trap of being obsessive or pedantic. Being Ligurian myself, for better or worse, I found some dishes, especially the mandilli and tomaxelle, truly reminiscent of childhood.

25/07/2026: What a fantastic choice for our first visit to Genoa! Traditional Genoese food at its finest, paired with superb service.
25/07/2026: A welcoming place, not very large but functional. The food is good, there's a decent selection, and the staff is attentive. The only downside is the alleys surrounding the place, frequented by very unsavory people. At 1 PM, in broad daylight, they're busy consuming substances or engaging in immoral activities (Maps explicitly prevents this from being written).
