31/10/2025: Always my go-to place for eating at Testaccio Market, a guarantee!

19/09/2025: I've been to this place and had a great time. The waiters are friendly and fast. The first courses and fried foods are fabulous and the prices are reasonable.

02/11/2025: DON'T GO THERE!! READ THE END!!! The place is very large and spacious, with tables both outside and inside on the veranda. The coffee is good, but the croissants aren't up to par...sometimes they're big, sometimes small, sometimes burnt (you can tell right away)...I haven't tried the pastry shop. Not among the best in the area, in my opinion, for puff pastry. Edit October 2025: I went back and got a cream croissant, amazed to see it and try it because it was so good! So I wonder if the problem is the empty croissants they fill on the spot... EDIT 2: A few days later, while I was having breakfast at the counter, I saw the owner (probably, since he was the only one dressed casually) using a used brush to pick up the ground coffee that had fallen on the counter and put it back in the dispenser tray!!! No comment!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

29/10/2025: The macchiato and small croissants aren't my cup of tea. They also don't pay much attention to the customer.

30/10/2025: I've been coming to this pizzeria for years. Unique pizza. With porcini mushrooms and mozzarella, the best.

26/10/2025: I ordered three pizzas, including an inedible Capricciosa, full of oil and covered in extra ingredients (thought I wouldn't notice), passing it off as Capricciosa, and the inedible Subbli because they're frozen. The service wasn't suitable for standing at the counter (hair must be tied back), and a hat wasn't enough. A pizzeria in name, but not in reality... I strongly advise against it. I had to throw everything away, and I even wasted 30 euros.

24/09/2025: Very friendly and attentive staff! Very foreign-friendly! The cornetti and cappuccino taste delicious 👍 A nice, generous selection – some even vegan cornetti. We always enjoy coming back.

04/07/2025: I stopped by to pick up 3 croissants in the morning around 8:00. I specify the time because with the heat of these days it would be understandable if maybe someone took a croissant made in the morning and at 4:00 pm it was no longer fresh. Well 3 croissants all different and all ended up in the garbage. The dough was clearly old, I don't know if they were from the day before or what but they were really not very fragrant. Move on. What really didn't work is that the cream was sour. First and last time.

01/06/2025: Absolutely avoid! Consider that you take a large cup for €5 to fill yourself with ice cream and they give you three scoops from the small scoop, no comment! You pay €5 to get nothing! If you take the €2 one it is identical in terms of the amount of ice cream! Also because if they give you less, really keep the money and don't give me anything, do charity and go. Really embarrassing! You feel bad!

18/07/2025: I went to this restaurant with high expectations, especially because a friend had highly recommended the chicken cacciatore. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. For my appetizer, I ordered breaded zucchini flowers with anchovies. The breading was so thick and greasy that the zucchini flowers couldn't even be tasted. The chicken cacciatore was submerged in oil between the skin and bones, there was very little cacciatore, and it was all accompanied by fried toppings that looked like they came from McDonald's! I don't doubt that others have had better experiences, but mine was below expectations and certainly not in line with the reputation I had been told.

16/07/2025: ⸻ Sono andato in questo ristorante con aspettative alte, soprattutto perché un amico mi aveva vivamente consigliato il pollo alla cacciatora. Purtroppo, è stata una grande delusione. Come antipasto ho ordinato i fiori di zucca impanati con le alici , l’impanatua era talmente spessa e grassa che il fiore di zucca non si sentiva proprio, il pollo alla cacciatora era sommerso nel olio tra pelle e ossa, di cacciatora c’era ben poco e il tutto accompagnato da patine fritte che sembravano uscite dal Mc Donald !! Non metto in dubbio che altri abbiano avuto esperienze migliori, ma la mia è stata sotto le aspettative e sicuramente non in linea con la reputazione che mi era stata descritta.

14/09/2025: Disclaimer: It says it's closed, but it's open. I had a coffee and a croissant and paid 4 euros. Simple service, a simple bar, unpretentious, stuck in its time, and paying 2 euros for a coffee seems excessive to me. Maybe because I'm a tourist? Goodbye.

01/11/2025: We came yesterday for Halloween night. The €35 menu was truly meager. The dishes were placed in the center of the table, and we had to fight to share them because they were so small... not to mention the children's menu. The portion of lasagna was barely enough for a doll. As for the entertainment, let alone the entertainment; the head entertainer was constantly holding a glass of white wine (UNWATCHABLE), especially if you're dealing with children... he filmed with his camera without even having us sign a consent form (MANDATORY IN THESE CASES). The kids were coloring and they were eating, for goodness sake, but you eat before the evening begins... MONEY GRANTED, NEVER AGAIN.

23/08/2025: We celebrated my daughter's birthday. An exclusive space just for our guests with every comfort. Music, lights, and excellent food. Super helpful staff, and Federica was a real highlight. Highly recommended!!!

05/10/2025: Excellent Roman pizza, great variety with the possibility to choose from many pizzas, excellent homemade desserts

13/07/2025: Inedible pizza, reheated supplì sold for 2 euros each, delivery guy who didn't plan because he was in a hurry, no receipt issued, can of Coca Cola not delivered, more improvised people

16/11/2025: The room was quite small, but the bathroom was nice and had a magnifying mirror for those who don't see well without glasses. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. For dessert, they have pan maridoso, a classic from Rome, and it was delicious. The restaurant has a spectacular view for lunch and dinner, which is also very good, along with the wines. The hotel has an excellent location for getting around to different parts of the city.

15/11/2025: A very disappointing hotel experience, not because of the location or the staff, but because of the room and the noise. The room was an acceptable size, but the walls were dirty, especially the bathroom, which had blood on the wall. The shower curtain was filthy, and the television didn't have satellite channels, so we had to watch them on our phones during our stay, all of them Italian channels, no matter how many times we tried to tune in. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel, and it's very important that El Corte Inglés, who included it in our package, even though we asked them to check it based on the reviews we saw on Booking.com, supervises the hotels they partner with. As a result, I, at least, will never trust anything they offer me again.

19/10/2025: Endless wait even for water. The dishes for three people arrived at different times: 20 minutes for the ravioli and 45 for the rice. You used to come here often, but now I wouldn't come here even by mistake.

26/09/2025: The restaurant has a fairly small dining room, with a larger outdoor terrace added in the summer. The floor is made of transparent glass, and underneath there's a sort of Zen garden with water—a nice idea, but the bright green neon lights illuminating the entire lower area create a more Martian atmosphere than a Chinese restaurant. Otherwise, the place is dated and definitely in need of modernization. The service is quite slow, but the food is good: I tried the steamed dumplings, which were good but small, and a Cantonese rice dish that was plentiful but too salty. The prices are average. All in all, nothing special.
