21/07/2025: This was our all time favorite place we visited for dining. Spectaculare atmosphere and staff. Really worth the visit!

18/07/2025: Sono stata al Castel Gandolfo al ristorante questa sera con la mia famiglia e purtroppo è stata un’esperienza estremamente deludente. Il cibo era davvero pessimo: insapore, cucinato male e per nulla appetitoso. Nessuno dei piatti che abbiamo ordinato era buono. Anche il servizio è stato molto scadente: personale scortese, poco attento e tempi di attesa lunghissimi. L’atmosfera generale era fredda e poco accogliente. Non consiglio assolutamente questo ristorante a nessuno. Spero sinceramente che prendano sul serio i feedback dei clienti per migliorare drasticamente la qualità del servizio e del cibo.

17/03/2025: I ordered via the site and I promptly received confirmation via email, after 10/15 minutes of delay I tried to contact the pizzeria both with the landline number and with whatsapp (both found on the internet) and I never received a response nor the pizza. I'll point it out in case there's something wrong, I usually like pizza.

06/08/2025: Good pizzas with lovely, light base. Staff very helpful should any billing issues crop up. Would recommend.

12/07/2025: We visited this restaurant twice, once for lunch and later for dinner. For lunch we enjoyed a margarita pizza with a beer for myself and water for the Boss. The meal was quick, delicious and fresh. We sat out in the street and enjoyed the people watching while our servers were attentive and punctual. Lunch was delicious and inexpensive. Later, after the Roman Forum and the Colosseum, we decided to try dinner there. Again sitting outside, beer for myself, limoncello spritz for the Boss. I enjoyed the salmon linguine and the Boss had the ricotta and spinach cannelloni. We both enjoyed our meals and left satisfied. Great lunch and dinner at budget prices.

17/04/2025: If you want to eat real Indian cuisine, it's here! It's all there: - the food is excellent, not too spicy for novices and varied to satisfy everyone's tastes - the typical atmosphere of Indian restaurants: poorly maintained walls, bolywood music on the TV, display for pastries, toilets making you want to quickly return to the table, and so on - the service is quite correct, Riyad took great care of my friend and me - the prices are completely reasonable unlike most restaurants of this type in Europe, you will have a full stomach without having to empty your pockets ;) In short, for all lovers of India, the real one, whether they have lived there or simply visited it during a trip, I highly recommend the Spice of India restaurant!!!

12/05/2025: Negli anni ci sono stata più volte e mi è sempre piaciuto, ieri sono rimasta molto delusa. Servizio totalmente disorganizzato: i camerieri che non sapevano dove portare i piatti, il vino l’abbiamo dovuto chiedere 3 volte e dopo aver chiesto di metterlo in ghiaccio non è stato fatto. Abbiamo preso i primi di pesce che erano un lago di olio all’aglio e basta (allego foto di quelli che dovevano essere spaghetti con vongole). Mi dispiace molto, ma è un grande no.

12/05/2025: Siamo venuti in questo ristorante per cena. Già all' entrata ci siamo trovati molto bene, il posto è luminoso e molto accogliente. Gli ordini sono arrivati e subito e nonostante abbiamo ordinato 5 piatti diversi, ce li hanno portati tutti insieme. I camerieri sono molto gentili e il cibo è molto buono. Consiglio.

07/06/2025: My experience was terrible, I asked for a bubble tea with soy, without milk and they put cream with milk. When I asked the lady for confirmation she told me that there was no milk inside... I also told her that I was completely intolerant but nothing!

26/03/2025: The idea of instant ramen with freshly boiled water for the noodles is very nice, and the bubble tea is good. But unfortunately, the cards they sell are clearly opened and resealed :/ especially the Pokemon I bought today. Trust me, don't buy cards from them.

14/03/2025: Honestly, we were passing through and stopped. Non-existent table service, with dirty tables from previous drinks and ashtrays almost full to bursting. We won't be back and we strongly advise against it 👎

18/07/2025: Bad experience. I came for lunch on a Friday around noon. The guy with glasses working in customer service is really rude, he has no way of responding politely. I wouldn't want to think his behavior is because I'm a foreigner.

20/06/2025: I am a regular customer here now, we often come during the week for a break from work for lunch. Unlike many other Piadinerias of the same chain in Rome, here you can really feel the presence of the manager (Gabriele). In fact, the place is always clean, the piadinas are always prepared with care (and the rolls are very well filled) and - most importantly of all - all the collaborators are very kind. It is always a pleasure, I will continue to come here willingly. Edit June 2025: seeing the many negative reviews of the last few months, I briefly update mine: the store seems to suffer from a lack of organization or mismanagement from the upper levels (and a clear corporate strategy increasingly aimed only at profit). The guys on duty always seem overwhelmed with too much work and are unable to offer the service as they would like. However, they maintain a smile and kindness, despite having to fight with continuous operational problems (very slow POS, broken automatic cash registers, lack of ingredients, etc. etc.). What is most disturbing are the prices and portions. The former continue to rise incomprehensibly, and the latter instead to reduce more and more... Now with a roll of almost € 15 you still remain hungry - something simply absurd. If it continues like this we will definitely not come again (and I hear many people saying this). In fact we have often already gone to Dispensa Emilia for this very reason. All this, I repeat, is NOT the fault of the staff, in fact I continue to be amazed how they still manage to serve with a smile. Everyone is kind and hardworking, but truly unique (I would say legendary) is Eleonora - always nice and still makes portions "like they used to". Also Stella and Salvo are always very kind. I should lower the rating but I trust in a return to 5 star levels (especially the portions...)!

01/03/2025: Bad experience, the employees are very polite, unfortunately they have nothing to do with it. The problem is the owners, sour and rude, they really seem to be doing you a favor, in fact they even seem annoyed by people who go for coffee after having lunch at the diner next to their bar. I came to the conclusion that they probably suffer from inferiority complexes caused by the large number of people who go to lunch at the diner next door, instead of envying them they should follow an example.... Unfortunately, commerce is an art for the few.

08/09/2025: We had breakfast here. While the food was delicious (eggs, pancakes, and yogurt), the price wasn't great. Not in line with the price. Not very friendly either. The service was quick, though.

28/08/2025: The place is divided in 2: the restaurant part and the bar part. We sat in the bar because we wanted drinks, so the waiter didn’t like it, he wanted everybody to order food. The food was moderate. The place is overrated, high prices but low taste. The service was bad, the waiters were grumpy. The place is not highly recommended.

21/08/2025: We went there tonight and it was our worst meal since we've been on vacation in Rome. The lasagna was swimming in oil and the spaghetti carbonara wasn't great either. The only good thing (that convinced us to eat there) was the waiter who spoke French.

07/08/2025: Fantastic pizzas, chicken and suppli. Even better were the friendly and helpful staff, real stars! Bravo!!

20/07/2025: The pizza isn't round, but oval, good, and larger. You have to try it. The waiting time for the pizza to cook is minimal.

17/07/2025: I went there for dinner with colleagues a while back. It's primarily a seafood restaurant. The fried foods are artisanal and truly fantastic, there's a good selection of beers (though quite commercial), and the seafood dishes I was offered looked truly excellent, both in appearance and aroma. We did, however, have the pinsa, which I think could definitely be improved, although it's certainly not bad. The place is a bit small and is more for a dinner for two than for families or large tables. Despite the two portable air conditioners, it was unfortunately still a bit hot due to the doors being left half-open due to the exhaust pipes. The service was quick and very friendly. I promised myself I'd return with my wife for seafood, which is definitely their specialty. The prices were very fair.
