19/08/2025: It was a pleasant surprise as we found the pizzeria by chance while strolling around Naples late one morning. The pizza was absolutely delicious, good, excellent, and well-cooked, not burnt like other places. The staff was friendly, and the pizza chef was available to offer some pizza recommendations, as I love homemade pizza.

12/08/2025: After searching for a pizzeria in the early afternoon, the only one open was available. We were delighted to be able to sit down and eat. The staff were friendly and professional, and we sat right in front of the pizza chef, who expertly prepared and cooked the delicious wood-fired pizzas 👍 with authentic ingredients. Highly recommended, fair prices.

17/04/2025: Simpatico locale con spazio esterno, veranda ben arredata e interno attrezzato con bar e pedana per musica dal vivo; gradito il guardaroba gratuito, ottima l’apericena con fritti croccanti e serviti caldi, salumi, formaggi, latticini e pasta al dente e ben condita; lascia a desiderare il piatto troppo piccolo e la forchetta di legno che….non prende nulla, soprattutto perchè all’interno non c’era un posto dove appoggiarsi per mangiare.

14/04/2025: Mi trovo a Roma e, sedotto da uno sconto offerto da una nota applicazione di prenotazioni, ne faccio una per le 20.00. Mi presento in orario. All'ingresso, nessuno ci viene incontro ma vedo una catenella. Da fuori, vedo di tavoli e qualcuno già seduto. Mi sembra quasi un ambiente da discoteca più che da ristorante, anche se l'assenza di musica alta non corrobora la mia sensazione. Bella situazione, penso. Molto originale.   Poiché vedo gente all'interno e nessuno si avvicina, sposto la catenella. Mentre faccio ciò,  sopraggiunge dalla strada un ragazzo. È chiaro che debba entrare anche lui quindi gli reggo la catenella, come gesto di cortesia e gli chiedo se effettivamente deve entrare. Lui conferma, entra, si rivolge ad un ragazzo coi capelli ricci e gli fa notare che la catenella è stata appena spostata. Il ragazzo coi capelli ricci si infastidisce non poco,  e si giustifica dicendo: "la gente vede la catena e la sposta lo stesso." Chiedo al ragazzo coi ricci se potevamo entrare e lui,  infastidito,  risponde che se avessimo avuto una prenotazione avremmo potuto farlo, facendolo apparire come una connessione e non come un diritto.  Gli rispondo di avere la sensazione di dare fastidio,  mi "complimento" con loro e vado via.  Ho dovuto  trovare un posto libero, a Roma, di domenica sera, senza prenotazione e cenare altrove con ulteriore esborso di soldi (avrei avuto più interesse a sfruttare il promesso 30% di sconto offerto dall'app con cui avevo prenotato). Ciò che mi è successo, non mi è mai accaduto in vita mia e non sono affatto uno sofosticato che vuole camminare sul tappeto rosso. Sarà il miglior posto di Roma ma, mi raccomando, anche se arrivate in orario, non spostate quella catenella. Restate in certosina attesa. Forse qualcuno verrà a chiedere che fate su una strada in cui c'è solo quel locale

04/09/2025: Dear Mr. Cottini, I would like to thank you all for the attention you gave me and all the pilgrims visiting your restaurant on September 2nd. After an intense and demanding walking pilgrimage that began in Caserta, I arrived in Rome, and after visiting the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, our group of pilgrims chose to have lunch at your restaurant. A positive experience in every way! The menu (very competitively priced), which included a first course, second course with side dish, and a small bottle of water, was very balanced, suitable for a large group of 22 people. The dishes were simple, nutritious, and fresh, typical of Roman tradition. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a regenerating break after a particularly busy and intense morning of sightseeing. The staff was courteous and helpful, but what made our break unique was the way they, with their characteristic Roman spirit, distributed the dishes. Between each serving, the kind Mr. Roberto would offer playful and amusing quips, like: "It takes courage to eat!" And of course, my response was inevitable: "Don't be cheap with this dish!" Everyone laughed, in an atmosphere of contagious joy! A final touch that made all the difference was the coffee kindly offered to all of us by the kind smile of the kind Oana, a sign of true Roman hospitality. In conclusion, if you find yourself in Rome, I highly recommend Bar Cottini! Excellent food, fair prices, and the personal attention that knows how to make every guest feel part of the "Roman family." P.S. The restaurant offers both coffee and food service! See you soon!

21/08/2025: I can't find a place to write a review about the absolutely negative experience I had this evening at your restaurant. It wasn't our first time: every year, my parents and I went there for aperitifs on vacation in Ladispoli... and we've never had any problems. This time, AN ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT: the food was extremely poor quality, the platters were unsightly and inedible, the chips and fish were raw, the sandwiches and focaccia were definitely yesterday's, the Ascoli olives with the pit (and my dad lost his prosthetics!!!). The poor woman who served us... what can I say?!? She certainly didn't put any particular effort into improving the situation. The owner of the restaurant approached us but certainly pretended not to see or understand the crap we'd been served. Then the bill: TRULY SPEECHLESS, MONEY WASTED. We certainly helped clear out your pantry of the week's leftovers, and we're happy to have been of assistance. My parents are from Modena, but remember that my family and I live and work in Ladispoli. I wish you all the best.

14/08/2025: Everything was truly mouth-wateringly delicious, for only €20-25 per person. The staff was excellent, very friendly and very nice, especially Sara and Flaminia, who served us throughout the evening.

24/05/2025: We used to order from them, regular customers, but lately we have been very disappointed. We have avoided writing negative reviews until now but... The pizza always arrives cold and the fried foods are never cooked enough, we are forced to re-cook them ourselves to avoid getting sick. Once we were delivered the wrong pizzas, we tried to contact the restaurant but after 7/7:30 pm they disconnected the phone (obviously to stop receiving orders) and we had to contact the company that manages home deliveries, complaining about the fact and asking for the pizzas to be remade. After an hour and a half/almost two we were delivered only one pizza of two but very salty, inedible. Sent that back too. Never a hint of apology from the restaurant or a possible (even partial or a hint would have been enough!) refund. We are sorry because overall the pizza dough is good, but the management leaves a lot to be desired. There are other very good pizzerias in the area.

03/09/2025: Disgusting, on the day of August 15th we arrived, we sat down and the table was already set with the appetizers on the table. After 40 minutes they asked us if we wanted water and wine. After an hour we got up and asked for the bill, even though I hadn't eaten anything. He asked us for 15 euros each, we paid and ran away, the only regret that ruined our August 15th.

16/08/2025: I can't give stars because after 40 minutes to get the waiter's attention (extenuating circumstances but no justification, it was August 15th and I had booked) I asked for the bill for what I hadn't eaten (I found an appetizer at the table that had been there for who knows how long) 30 euros for two people... I preferred to pay and leave (the fixed price menu was 40 euros per person) no comment

07/06/2025: My brother had 2 juices and 1 coffee and brought a croissant without butter, milk and eggs from home. They made him leave the bar, after taking the money for the drinks. They told him he couldn't eat something from outside. That's enough for you to know.

04/08/2025: I had an aperitif at this bar and was surprised. They make cocktails and specialty platters. They have quality craft beers. One of the places that focuses on quality.
