07/08/2025: The pasta was not cooked and the pizza was somewhat sweet. The salad was average and we asked for salt. The price, 94 euros, is too much for the taste.

03/08/2025: The food was nice and reasonably priced for the location, the major let down was the service. The waiter with the short grey hair was constantly preoccupied with a table of young girls. Even when they did not need tending too he was constantly lingering around this table and it took us numerous attempts to get his service, eventually a lovely waitress stepped in to serve us even though this was clearly not her area. Would be an amazing place without this one waiter. Very frustrating experience

10/09/2025: Dal Bolognese on the Piazza del Popolo is well located for a lunch of people watching (as the name of the piazza suggests). We were seated on the terrace and were fascinated watching the maitre d’, wrapped in his cream double breasted blazer, perform a profiling excercise on hopeful diners wishing to secure a table for lunch. A customs officer would have been impressed! If you had a Dickensian plea about you, you would be summarily fobbed off. If you were able to extract some swagger from your Rolex you would be accommodated but only inside! A reservation of course yielded the prized location of the terrace! Predicting these outcomes was such fun! Moral of the story - always reserve a table - to save you unnecessary embarrassment when turned down. I ordered a veal Milanese which reflected the disdain the Romans have for the Milanese. Thankfully the accompaniment of cicoria saved the meal. The entertainment alone was worth the overpriced meal.

09/09/2025: We ordered caprese salad as a starter, it had a rotten spot on the skin which i never experience in any restaurant before. Pasta bolognese was delicious. Service is 0! The host is very rude and doesnt give you the time!

08/09/2025: The worst McDonald's in all of Rome, tasteless food, disgusting service, when you order takeaway, watch carefully to make sure they put everything you ordered on your plate, after 12 midnight if you don't have a car you can't eat, although it closes at 4 am.

20/08/2025: The view is great even though it's a subway station! The parking spaces are too small... Otherwise, everything is great! P.S. They also have beer on the menu 😉

09/03/2025: Excellent cuisine, kind and attentive staff. Relaxed environment away from city traffic, a small pearl a stone's throw from tax meadows. We will definitely be back!

06/05/2025: Esperienza indimenticabile! Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo ristorante proprio 2 sere fa con mio marito e ne sono rimasta profondamente colpita. Ogni portata era un capolavoro, curata nei minimi dettagli e caratterizzata da sapori straordinari, originali e perfettamente bilanciati. Le combinazioni proposte erano davvero particolari e fuori dal comune, ma sempre armoniose e sorprendenti. Il personale si è dimostrato attento, cordiale e altamente professionale, sempre presente ma mai invadente. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, contribuendo a rendere l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Un luogo che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca non solo un buon pasto, ma un vero e proprio viaggio nel gusto. Tornerò sicuramente!

20/07/2025: To those in Japan: I couldn't forget the bistecca I had in Florence, so I came to this bistecca restaurant for my last supper in Rome. The bistecca was just as delicious as the one in Florence. The staff were all lovely, too. Thank you bistecca. Thank you Italy.

17/06/2025: I live right next to Con.tro Bistrot and for a long time it was a point of reference for me and my family. I often ordered pizza from them and, some time ago, I even left a very positive review, saying that the opening of a place like this had given a boost to quality to the entire neighborhood. Unfortunately today I find myself forced to completely revise that judgment. The place has clearly changed, and not for the better. The courtesy of the staff has disappeared, some behaviors border on rudeness — especially from the pizza chef with the multicolored trousers, who I often found rude and unprofessional. The pastry shop, which once was an excellent place, has now become ordinary. But the most obvious change concerns the pizzeria: the counter, which was once an example of cleanliness and order, is now chaotic and often dirty. The quality of the pizza has drastically worsened, making the experience completely disappointing. I still remember the marble and glass always perfectly clean, and the kind and attentive staff. Today all of this seems like a distant memory. I deleted my old review and, sadly, I am no longer a customer. Something has changed, and unfortunately it shows.

17/08/2025: 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting and then they brought a pizza of shit... a cold gluten-free one that seemed to have been made 2 hours before! Margherita with inedible burnt mozzarella! Cod fillet 4 for that I can't say what but it starts with an M! And after an hour and 10 minutes of waiting we call back to get information and they even treat us badly telling us but what do you want you are not our customers call everyone here because the others are closed we were supposed to be on vacation too! But be thankful that I didn't come down because I had to come down and give it to you I don't tell you where otherwise they won't publish my comment and let's see if you were acting like bullies like on the phone with my partner! And on top of that the gentlemen don't even give you anything because on Saturday points that we had old can't be spent freebies nothing because on Saturday and plus they don't even bring you the stamps because on Saturday! First of all, never again! Stay away from these charlatans and I won't add anything else! 65 euros given away to these... I don't even know What should I call them because I have so many to call them!

16/08/2025: I know your cozy place very well, since I live nearby. We order from several places, including yours, so much so that I'm already "registered." Aside from the delivery that arrived after an hour and a half—and believe me, I do over 200 deliveries a day on foot—if you can't handle the workload these evenings, don't take orders until you're exhausted, because the result is burnt pizzas, mine gluten-free was raw and frozen, the cod fillet was small and nonexistent, and salt galore. Furthermore, your arrogance when I called an hour later to ask where the order was is shocking: you can't tell me that it would have been better if you too had closed for vacation, since all the "never heard of them" call you, which I'm not one of. I also own a business very close to yours, I haven't closed for vacation, and I welcome occasional customers who come to fill the void of the regulars, who are absent. Work must always be blessed, and customers, if well-mannered, are all equal. You should examine yourselves, but I'll stop by in person anyway.

11/03/2025: Unfortunately once again the cake is different from the one ordered. I had recommended making a millefeuille with a layer of chocolate and a layer of custard. Final result: cream millefeuille with very few chocolate chips. Too sweet, not to my liking.

10/03/2025: What a shame to see that over time the pastry shop has lowered the level and taken away the pleasure of biting into a well-filled pastry, rather than a half-empty one. Another matter concerns the receipt which is issued at the customer's request. What a disappointment!

05/04/2025: Nice place, I went with my family for an aperitif. Given that we entered at 7.15pm, we had 2 aperitifs for 22 euros, we waited an hour to be served the aperitifs. Plus we bought a Coco cola for my daughter. The quality of the products is poor, the price compared to what is served is excessive. Instead of coca-cola, the price of the spritz included in the price of the aperitif was added. Not recommended.

23/03/2025: Very welcoming staff, plentiful platters and very good sandwiches. The place is beautiful and very large, suitable for partying. On Saturdays they organize Karaoke evening! Really a nice environment

10/08/2025: The pizza was very good, and I wanted to highlight the exceptional takeout service. The delivery guy, Davide, was incredibly fast and friendly, and even helped me fix my jammed lawnmower, as he's a brilliant mechanical engineering student (from what he told me). I'll definitely be ordering again.

29/07/2025: The pizza is truly delicious, with a fragrant dough and quality ingredients. Deliveries are always on time, even at peak times; I ordered on a Sunday evening! The food arrives hot and well-packaged. The service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend trying their pizzas! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

03/07/2025: I frequent the area for work and had noticed this ice cream shop for a while, although I had never been in. Yesterday, thanks to the scorching heat, I decided to try it and I found kindness and... an excellent mulberry granita, which is quite rare in Rome. Granitas in other flavors and ice cream are also available, which I will definitely try later.

21/07/2025: Very bad experience. My friend was celebrating her birthday there. We were rudely kicked out, with a lot of arrogance and rudeness. They didn't even let us take souvenir photos. Terrible staff.

21/07/2025: I celebrated my birthday party terribly and spent a lot. At 1:20 PM they kicked us out without even giving us a chance to take souvenir photos. The staff was uninterested and rude. I absolutely do not recommend.
