31/07/2025: Wonderful. A truly delicious burger and fries. Quality ingredients, well-cooked. I'm not sure how it compares to McDonald's. Absolutely nothing. I missed trying Joe's special sauce, but I'll be back with pleasure!

19/07/2025: Small sandwich, high price, everything is expensive. Average taste, the flavors get lost. Fried chicken is very good and crispy. Inside the central market, where everything costs at least 50% more than normal, it doesn't stand up very well.

30/03/2025: A spritz and a non-alcoholic cocktail (identical to Santal's pineapple and coconut fruit juice) paid 18 euros. The menu has prices, then you go to the cashier and discover that the prices have magically increased and the receipt doesn't show what I ordered but only the total. Never again.

05/02/2025: We celebrated my wife's birthday here. We found the food excellent, the drinks very good, and the music fantastic. Special thanks to Marco, who was immediately kind and helpful. The chef was also very friendly and knowledgeable. He was a great help in choosing the menu. We will definitely be back for an evening with friends, and maybe even for our next birthday.

14/06/2025: Terrible, commercial and super expensive. I paid 14 euros for pre-made ice cream, 3 cones and a small cup. I didn't even know how much I was spending, I had to ask after swiping. They only have one size of cone, I got melon flavor, a very fake, horrible flavor, very commercial dark chocolate. The cream was just not bad. The owner also says that they have been making ice cream and tiramisu for 40 years like at home. Better not to have discovered it until now, I lived very well without it. Claustrophobic place, a hole. For goodness sake, who will ever come back.

03/08/2025: A prominent and very beautiful location. It was a pleasure to have lunch here. The service was excellent, but unfortunately the food wasn't. We were disappointed by the low-quality food, at least for us. Maybe we were just unlucky enough to have a bad day, but we won't be returning.

31/07/2025: Incredible place. EXCELLENT food. Impeccable service. From the moment we arrived, they were courteous and extremely helpful. They put us at ease and immediately showed us where to find the dishes. On a simple Thursday, the chef offered tonnarelli cacio e pepe and radicchio and almond ravioli, just to start... ALL THE WAY YOU WANT... then free-range roast chicken with potatoes and a myriad of other dishes, from egg strips with stewed vegetables, farro and chickpeas, rice with hard-boiled eggs and peas, timbales and vegetable ratatouille galore, and at least 10 different sides. Then we moved on to the pre-cleaned fruit domes (watermelon, melon, pineapple, kiwi, and oranges), finishing with a triumph of desserts. All rigorously plated, from the paradise cake with cream, berries, and fresh flowers, to the mini baba with cream, passing through wonderful tarts and pistachio cream crumbles. All this as much as you want for 18 euros per person. Top quality and impeccable cleanliness. Definitely worth a try.

02/06/2025: Unfortunately since the staff changed the service is very poor. It does not depend on the owners, but the young staff moves like this. Distracted, rude. I have been a customer for at least 60 years and I have never seen this place in such terrible conditions. My solidarity with the owners

15/07/2025: Terrible customer management. I was at the checkout, a woman had gotten her receipt before me for a cappuccino and a croissant. She paid and went to the counter. The croissant wasn't there (it can happen), but the barista's response was very disrespectful: "You have to look before you pay." Now I understand everything, but if the bar is full (especially in front of the counter), one can't take inventory of the merchandise on display. It would have been enough to say, "I'm sorry, ma'am, we're out of stock." It should be noted that the cashier promptly informed the woman that she would refund her money, but a professional barista wouldn't have responded like that. That barista obviously worked behind the bar where the general market is located.

29/03/2025: Ottimo cappuccino e ottima pasticceria. Di qualità anche il ginseng. La pizza davvero buona. Leggera e digeribile. Buoni e molto conditi i tramezzini. I ragazzi dietro il banco sono simpatici e gentili. Il parcheggio c'è ma a pagamento. Consigliato!

28/05/2025: Downgraded! When they opened in Via dei Prati Fiscali, it wasn't bad at all. Yesterday, I went back, already knowing about the inexorable decline, I had a prosecco, decarbonated, without bubbles accompanied by old pizzas, expired sandwiches, and sour canapés. The waiter, always the same, now reigns supreme, regardless of his rudeness towards customers. Luckily in Piazza Igea, everything is excellent, I recommend going there!

22/05/2025: Two of us went for lunch today. Very quiet, just us and one other person. Good and friendly service. The place was great. We ordered water, a salad, carbonara pasta, garlic and cayenne pasta, and a homemade tiramisu to share. Good. The tiramisu was very sweet for me, but I prefer savory food. The service was fast, helpful, and pleasant. It cost us €30. The only drawback: They don't accept credit cards.

14/04/2025: A stone's throw from Piazza Fiume, an address to share in via Lucania 11a between via Sicilia and Via Calabria. Delicious pizzas with quality products that recall the ancient flavors of the past. The restaurant has a wide choice of Roman dishes on the menu. In a panorama of gastronomic offerings that increasingly push customers to discover sometimes unthinkable combinations, tradition wins here and succeeds very well. The innkeeper is truly the guardian of our taste. The pizzas are excellent and perhaps this is one of the few restaurants that still makes them Roman style, I feel like saying, hurray! that is, low and very light which makes you want to do it again while remaining very digestible. The classic and timeless tomato bruschetta is delicious, as is the focaccia with Parma and buffalo mozzarella. Zucchini flowers pizza with anchovies simply irresistible, tasty and cooked to perfection. Exceptional tiramisu, never tasted so good in a restaurant. La Baita since 1980, is the true history of catering, not entrepreneurial improvisations destined to appear and then disappear like the trends of the moment. An address to recommend and share with relatives and friends and for those who wish to taste the ancient flavors of tradition seasoned with the tenacity and love of those who have decided to dedicate their lives to catering. Listening to the memories of the managers is a romantic dive into the past, the Rome of the past, beautiful and damned. Welcoming environment with industrial references, quick and attentive service. Absolutely honest prices, time stopped in via Lucania 11a and we with it.

27/03/2025: I went there this morning with my husband for breakfast. We found a woman at the cash register who, besides being very rude when paying, even loudly said THERE'S NO MONEY. I have it in my ATM card, but a merchant's rudeness is never far away.
