Samovar Trastevere In Roma

We've been to the Roadhouse Restaurants many times, both for pleasure and because I often have business lunches there. The restaurant in Piazza Ippolito Nievo is a favorite: well-maintained, easy to find parking, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helps you navigate the many weekly offerings. The food is very good; I especially appreciate that I've taken advantage of the Sunday "Ribs" offer several times. This year's Easter Grill solved my Easter Monday lunch problem with satisfaction and flavor. Recommended!!

We returned to this Roadhouse after a couple of years, remembering a great experience in the past, but unfortunately this time it was a total disaster. ​The only positive note was the first course of ribs, which was good and well-cooked. From then on, it went downhill: all the subsequent courses seemed simply reheated, with a consistency and flavor decidedly far from the chain's standards. ​However, the worst problem wasn't the food, but the service. We found a total lack of professionalism: the staff was rude and uninterested, making the atmosphere heavy and unwelcoming. ​It's a real shame because we had fond memories of this place, but after an evening like that—between mediocre food and rudeness—we'll hardly return.

We had lunch here for the first time today and were very pleased. The meat was excellent, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere was quiet and very clean. We'll definitely be back!

The managers are always very kind, the atmosphere is welcoming, I often go there for lunch since I work nearby, it feels like home!
