12/07/2025: We popped in for an early dinner with my 3 year old. The kitchen didn’t open for an hour and a half but they got us drinks and snacks and my daughter’s order arrived 30 mins before official opening. Delicious food and lovely atmosphere!

20/09/2025: It's absurd to find restaurants in 2025 that don't respect the opening hours posted online. Today, Saturday the 20th, they're closed for lunch, while the website says they're open. We came from out of town to eat here, but found only poor management in the information.

07/09/2025: We stayed at La Babbiona in Civitavecchia and it was a truly wonderful experience! The owner, known as La Babbiona, and her husband welcomed us with rare kindness and helpfulness: even though we arrived at 10:15 PM, slightly late, they waited for us without any problem and made us feel right at home. The dishes were delicious, with attention to detail and generous portions. A great added bonus: they have AIC-certified gluten-free options, a guarantee of safety and quality for those, like us, who require special attention. The price was very fair, especially considering the quality and the family atmosphere. After dinner, we stopped to chat with the owners, who are wonderful, genuine people, and passionate about their work. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat well, feel pampered, and experience an authentic experience in Civitavecchia. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

16/10/2025: 3 stars because the €15 “American” breakfast isn’t very tasty, and it took them 20 minutes to cook 2 sausages.

07/10/2025: Had food here 2 times and both were excellent. The staff are very friendly, helpful and we're accommodating to us English only speakers. The vegetarian pizza was delicious with lots of various toppings. The fettuccine with mushroom was even better, the fresh pasta coated with light oil and flavoured with fantastic mushroom. A simple dish executed brilliantly.

06/10/2025: Finally, a burger the way I want it—that is, I can build it the way I like it, with the ingredients I like. 😋 Parking is a bit tricky, but you can find it!!! Anyway, excellent. 💯

08/09/2025: What a find! We stayed just around the corner and found the bakery by happenstance but I am glad we did. I ordered a croissant, a small bun that had lemon in it and my partner had one of the small bites - and they were all superb. The flavours were well balanced, not too strong or overpowering and just tasted incredible. I’ve already saved this for my next visit to Rome

To find a solution, they offered us a generous platter of cold cuts, as we requested, and discounted what we hadn't eaten, apologizing to us without any reason. Unparalleled courtesy and helpfulness. 25/02/2025: A hidden gem in Rome's Villa Spada neighborhood. This neighborhood bar with surprising cuisine lies right where you'd least expect it. Thanks to the chef, who, according to recent reports, seems to have moved on... a shame. It's not every day you get to eat "restaurant-style" food in what isn't even a trattoria, with a spartan atmosphere to say the least, and a decidedly unfortunate location (you either go there on purpose or you never get there). Give it a try; it's definitely worth a visit.
