13/07/2025: I organized my son's 18th birthday party here. I discovered the place because I was invited to a dear friend's 60th birthday party, and everything had already been great! A beautiful farmhouse with attention to every detail! The food was excellent, and the desserts were superb! The waiters were professional and attentive to the needs of everyone at the party! Marianna and Valeria were super helpful, they looked after you and managed everything impeccably! My satisfied guests all complimented me on my choice! What can I say? I've finally found a place to celebrate future occasions! See you soon!

The pizzas are very traditional, and the service is excellent—attentive, lively, and fast. I ordered a salad and a pizza, and it was enough for two people. The water is a pretty big bottle, so it's easy to share. - a Coke, water, and pizza came to 32.50 euros.

02/11/2025: I ordered cacio pepe, seafood pasta, soufflé, and tiramisu, and they were absolutely delicious!! It wasn't too salty, and the seafood pasta was one of the best I've ever had. The staff were generally friendly, with the exception of one foreign employee.

07/09/2025: A great place, discovered by chance... a small restaurant tucked away in a corner of the San Lorenzo neighborhood, but as soon as you enter, you're immersed in a unique and meticulously maintained atmosphere, a cozy and refined setting that exudes tranquility. Excellent quality fish, discreetly refined yet generous dishes, impeccable service. It's easy to see the staff's attention to detail, their helpfulness, and their kindness. The price is fair. The wine selection is well-balanced and complete but what is surprising is the food: excellent, quality and varied with its local proposals and meze. I really liked it and I hope to return soon, maybe on Sunday when they organize their events that I have heard very good things about.

27/05/2025: Hybrid place, it tries to cover a bit of all the expectations of a bar/bistro in a secluded and quiet area of ​​Quadraro: it doesn't succeed, if not perhaps for the turnout and the trendy youth attendance at the weekend. The aperitifs are average, the food doesn't surpass it, with that mix of Roman cuisine but not enough, Mediterranean but not specified what. Mussels with pecorino cheese with pecorino cheese stuck on the mussel (scrape it off to eat it?); hummus from blended chickpeas in a 50 cent jar, without the taste of cumin garlic or tahini. Slow service, nice but slow. I would like it to be less anonymous, but maybe the owners are fine with it, as long as it fills up on the weekend the grain doesn't hurt, on the contrary. However, despite the intentions, the neighborhood deserves better.

25/09/2025: On Saturday, we celebrated a special occasion, and Alessio, with his extraordinary cuisine, won over all my guests. The fish is incredibly fresh, the fried fish is tender, and the baby octopus... simply dreamy! The portions are generous and tasty, and the staff is always extremely kind and attentive. L'Ancora Restaurant is a true guarantee: here, you always feel at home, and every special occasion is truly unforgettable.

20/10/2025: Street food not to be missed in Rome. Pizza with potatoes, classic supplì, pizza bianca, and pizza with tomato and mozzarella are all delicious. A great place to eat and then continue exploring Rome. The place is small, so there's not much room to eat. Recommended anyway.
